Love this place… everybody who works here is so friendly. I’ve tried several types of donuts. All were really good and moist. The cronut holes are very addictive!!! Consider yourself warned ;)

We tried the lemon poppy seed cake, honey citrus glazed, blueberry crumb(favorite!), and cheesecake. The donuts are incredibly creative and very tasty. Not too sweet, and very light. And the flavors are on point!

Great, great, GREAT place! Did I mention how great they were?! Seriously though, great donut shop with a wide variety of donuts; all kinds of toppings(icing flavors and designs), styles(donuts, cake donuts, donut holes, cronuts, cronut holes, etc) and they even have custom made options available! They do everything, letter donuts, character donuts, whatever your hearts desire! Need more proof, check out their IG page: I came here for the first time after finding them on IG and ordered customized Star Wars donuts for my fiances birthday, along with crème brûlée donut holes. The did not disappoint. The shop is clean and the service is beyond fantastic. Great gourmet donut shop in the DFW area!

Excellent! This place is so cute and the donuts are even better! It’s a pretty small space but there’s plenty of seats. When my friend and I came, it was just us plus a few people who got donuts/coffee to go. The ladies who work here were so sweet and so kind. We had a hard time trying to figure out which donuts to get because they all looked delicious! The lady was very patient and told us that if there wasn’t a flavor in the display that we didn’t see, they would whip it up for us, we just had to tell them what flavor. I thought that was so awesome! But we ended up deciding on the options that were in front of us. Below I’ve rated each donut 1 to 5(1 = bad, gross, unsatisfied; 5 = great, amazing, satisfied). *Glaze regular and chocolate donut holes: 5, soft and delicious. *Glaze Red Velvet: 5, so soft and not too sweet. Favorite from my entire experience. *Oreo with Gummy Worms: 4, good, but nothing really special. Wish there was more cream so it wasn’t so dry, but still yummy. *Half White/Half Sprinkle: 3, decent. It tasted a little chalky for me but my best friend like it, so I guess it just depends. *Half Chocolate/Half Sprinkle: 4, good. I liked this one better than the Half White/HalfSprinkle. My best friend didn’t like this one as much. So like I said before, guess it depends on the person. * Keylime Pie: 5, yummy. This one has the keylime filling and it was delicious and not very powerful/strong. It was a good balance. *Maple Bacon: 2, meh. I’ve never had this flavor before but I had high hopes because that’s all I’ve ever heard about this flavor. It was weird because of the crunchiness and extremely sweet. I guess this means I’m not a fan of the Maple Bacon flavor, lol. *Cookie Monster: 5, great. It looked just like Cookie Monster :) His eyes were made out of marshmallows and chocolate. *Ice Cream: 5, it was so cute! I only got it because it was so creative. It tasted great also! The«cherry» on top was an M&M. Overall, this donut shop was AMAZING. I spent about $ 15 total on 5 donuts and a drink. I will most definitely be back! This is my new favorite donut shop :)

Earnest Donuts has earned their way into my heart, albeit through my stomach. This place is always the first stop when I arrive in the DFW area. Their Earl Grey is a winner!

Expensive but tasty donuts. The customer service here is nice and friendly. They will also make off menu items such as egg croissants and other sandwiches, but you’ll be in for a wait. I wish they had better options for coffee & tea other than the freezer drinks they offer. I do wonder what they do with the donuts they don’t sell during any given day. I’ve come two or three days in a row, and I swear I’ve seen the same candy donut in the the exact same spot as the day prior on the tray…

Earnest Donuts is a great spot. I’ve been here about three times. What makes them different from the other donut places is the fact that they offer a large array of exotic donut flavors aside from the norm. The donuts are delicious and the ambience is great. The only major caveat is the price. Definitely pricier compared to the other donuts places in Dallas. One may think, «Oh 1.00 for a chocolate frosted isn’t expensive!», but if you put that in perspective when other places sell it for $ 0.70, that’s a hefty 40% hike! And if you want a specialty exotic donut, it’s substantially more($ 2+). I consider myself a donut aficionado and have been to quite a few donut places in the Dallas area. I will definitely be back here and recommend it to everyone. But bear in mind there is a premium attached, which is why I docked one star and give it a VERY solid 4⁄5.

Superb donuts! Earl grey tea, marcha, and croissant donuts are a few of the exciting offerings here! They make donuts and they make them well. Fair pricing as well. Get here early as they may sell out of some flavors. They also have donut holes rolled in different flavored sugars which are probably my favorites here. They happen to be closed on Mondays which is a bummer but they need a day off too.

3 stars because they are the best looking donuts and kolaches in dallas that I have seen. Only the flavor is the same as the other donut and kolache places in dallas:(I was excited for the crème brûlée and Bavarian cream donuts but they looked better than they tasted. The crème brûlée was indeed burnt sugar but it is supposed to be so right on… but, it had burned donut flavors and the worst part was there was not a crème brûlée filling. In fact the custard filling was the same as the Bavarian cream. Both were«donut store» custard filling.(Donut store custard filling=tub custard) ***if the filling was made in store, someone might have known that Bavarian cream is crème anglaise mixed with whip cream**** The citrus donut had the best flavor but third icing consistency was too thin. Which means the icing will penetrate the donut making it soggy. The citrus donut was soggy. My little girl loved the minion donut. A huge hit for kids. Both of my girls loved the kolaches. I mean, what kid wouldn’t like a hot dog and bread. My most favorite thing is a Texas kolache but someone told all donut stores in dallas to buy hot dogs already stuffed with cheese. Well that doesn’t work. A true Texas kolache uses a skinny smoked sausage(and also not a lil smoky) and the cheese is stuffed between the meat and the bread. All said an done I bought 4 donuts and 3 mini kolaches for $ 16. So my next complaint would be the price. This place is better than hypnotic donuts though.

This place is an absolute must for any donut lover such as myself. I put it in the top 3 donut shops of Dallas along with Hypnotic and Jaram. The donuts are always fresh, they have innovative flavors such as matcha green tea, pumpkin cheesecake, blueberry crumble cake and many more. If you don’t see something that you like, just ask. They made me a nutella almond donut on the fly. They also have croissant donuts and great flavors on the donut holes. Also the custom donuts that they make are works of art, just ask them about the sushi donuts!

The one thing that draws my attention to this donut shop is the matcha donut, the only place that i know that serves matcha donut. I also got red velvet cream cheese, red velvet glazed, s’mores, earl grey, and two unique Star Wars donuts. I am surprised to say i didn’t like the matcha, too powdery for my taste. However, I loved the s’mores and red velvet glazed, which were not overly sweet. The shop is also super cute. For sure will come back when i crave red velvet donut.

Speechless. I love donuts as much as the next girl, but this place is a must-see, must-try, must-love. This business is apparently not new, but coulda fooled me; it’s so clean and has that brand spankin’ new look to it. It opens at 6AM and closes shop at 2:30PM. Pretty late for a donut place! The shop is just modern and fun to look at. Contemporary furniture and fixtures. they got it all. The donuts are labeled with writing on the glass, which I love. I just wanted one of everythinggg without the calories. kthanks. Alas, I was not in a fairy tale, so I settled for the famous earl grey tea and s’more donuts. Both were phenomenal. I think I saw stars. The cronut holes were good after the first couple… then I became increasingly aware of the ensuing high blood sugar flooding my system. They threw in a couple of glazed donut holes for me. Their glaze even tastes a little different from the norm. I loved it all. I did try the jalapeño kolache(like I do at every donut shop), but it wasn’t a winner. It was way salty, and the jalapenos were stuffed in next to the sausage.(The best kolaches are those with jalapeño-infused with sausages) I digress. The girl behind the counter was super sweet and answered questions without any ‘tude. P. S. They’re hiring. –xoxo

This place is delicious. The croissant donut holes are addicting, and their specialty donuts are pretty good. I’m partial to the crème brûlée, maple bacon, and croissant donuts. I have yet to try anything that hasn’t been great. Price wise, the donuts run a little expensive, so it’s more of a «treat yourself» kind of place. Staff has always been friendly and helpful with recommendations, and even offered a sample of some of their donut hole varieties. They have drinks and merchandise available for sale if that’s your thing. It’s located in a plaza with Rotolo’s, Rockfish, and a couple other stores along 121. Worth a check out if you’re in the area!

The donuts here are great, though you’re paying a premium for ‘specialty’ donuts. I’ve tried the Earl Gray and Salted Caramel and both were fantastic! I especially loved the strong tea flavor on the Earl Gray. The most important thing you need to know about Earnest Donuts is the fact that they have freaking CRONUTHOLES! So. Good. I’ll come back for those things alone!

Not bad donuts, great service. My wife and I ordered some cronut holes, a cinnamon sugar donut, a beignet, and ham/egg/cheese sandwich on a croissant. The cronut holes were great and they gave us extra. Tasted great, light, and fluffy. The cinnamon sugar donut and beignet weren’t very good. They were both very dry. The ham/egg/cheese sandwich was interesting. The egg was circular and looked fresh. I could clearly see the yellow and white. My issue was with the cheddar cheese. It was two slabs of cold, unmelted, and thick cheese. I’d definitely return just for the cronut holes.

My review of Earnest Donuts is way overdue. I love this place! I’ll start with my favorite part about this donut shop– the service. One of the owners is the sweet lady that works behind the counter, serving smiles and delicious donuts to all who enter her establishment. She’s seriously the best. I also can’t skip the décor– super cute and somewhat hipster/artsy. They even have their own gifts and gift cards! On top of the welcoming décor and cheerful workers, Earnest has great donuts. Always fresh, and there is always a new and interesting flavor to try out. Some of my personal favorites would be the glazed cronut holes, vanilla crumble donut holes, strawberry shortcake, and salted caramel. If you ever are unsure if you’d like a certain donut, just kindly ask for a sample and they’ll do what they can to help you out. Yes, the prices can seem a bit much at first, but I think Earnest Donuts definitely delivers the total package. Give them a try!

This place is AMAZING and so conveniently located! I was craving donuts and decided to drop by to check this new place out. I ordered a red velvet donut with icing, the earl grey tea donut, and the maple iced donut. The owner was really sweet! She even gave me a couple different donut holes to try out: the regular glazed, the red velvet crumb donut hole, and the chocolate fudge donut hole. Out of all the donuts I ate, my favorite is definitely the earl grey tea donut! It was super light and with every bite you would get hints of the tea. ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS! The donuts were also super fluffy. My second favorite was the maple iced donut. Although I would have wanted to taste a bit more of the maple, it was really delicious and wasn’t an overkill of sweetness. I personally didn’t really like the red velvet donut because it was a little too much. My best friend though loved it! Surprisingly the donut was really moist and soft on the inside, but I think I would get it without icing next time. Overall this place is a really great donut shop with amazing flavors! I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

I have a confession to make. I used to work at a family friend’s donut shop when I was in high school so I actually know a thing or two about these bad boys. I also just reinforced the stereotype that Koreans own and work at donut shops, oops… Earnest Donuts is currently in their soft opening phase and they should be doing their grand opening sometime next week. My first impression upon entering Earnest was that this looked like any olé’ donut shop I’ve been to. They have a 2 fridges with drinks to the left and a large display case in the center. However, what they have inside of the display case differs from what you normally find. I ordered the maple bacon, blueberry crumble cake, and red velvet cake. Their to-go packaging is absolutely delightful and colorful. These are not the ordinary white boxes you get from the donut shop down the street. Also, these donuts can go as much as $ 3.50 each. Of the three donuts I tried, the maple bacon was my absolute favorite. The bacon bits on top of the maple glaze added a wonderful crunch. The donut itself also has bacon in it! Bacon everywhere! The blueberry crumble cake was very fluffy and the crumbs all around the cake added a great texture to each bite. The red velvet cake was my least favorite. The cake itself was fluffy but lacked the richness that normally is associated with red velvet cake and the cream cheese was bland. It’s nice to see a gourmet donut shop this far up north. I’m still salivating from their maple bacon donut. Bacon for you, bacon for you, bacon for everyone!

Wow this place is amazing. It’s like paying for the cheap donut price but getting a gourmet experience! The décor is very modern, all the tables are wood topped and the walls are adorned with wooden hangings that have to do with donuts and coffee. The fixtures are very cute and there’s a chalk board(find my name if you can). The. Donuts. Are. Out. Of. This. World. The have the standard glazed and cake donuts you find at regular donut shops but what puts them over the top is their gourmet donuts! This consists of red velvet, maple bacon, and Oreos just to name a few. I purchased the red velvet and a glazed and some donut holes and a bottle of water and my totally was just over $ 5, so cheap and worth every single bite. The owner is super nice and who doesn’t like a really cool donut shop, check out earnest donuts and trust me you won’t regret it!
