Overall the service was lacking. No one seemed to know what they had and what they were out of or had discontinued service of. After being charged for a double espresso we were told that they don’t have it, even though their menu had 4 different espresso based drinks on it. We were refunded for ½ of the double espresso. Our meal was ok, but the meats were obviously microwaved rather than freshly cooked. At nearly the end of our meal, after having to ask where my English muffin was, we were told they don’t service them. Yet again, they were on the menu, and I wasn’t notified when I ordered that they no longer have them. I substituted it with a biscuit that was also fresh out of the microwave. With so many other choices in the area we won’t be returning.

This is very good place to go if you want a quick meal and want to support a small business. The location is clean with both in and outside dining(although outside the tables are only for 2 people each). We were four. We sat inside by the register. My five and two year old shared a donut and several donut holes. I don’t know the cost, but 3 holes were $ 0.45. I ordered a veggie omelette for me(consisting of mushrooms, onions, pepper and tomato) with cheese. It came with toast and I elected hash browns. My husband got the Denver omelette(it has ham) with toast and home-fries. The home-fries were moderately spicy and my husband liked them very much. I loved the hash-browns. They were pretty greasy, but I actually was kinda in the mood for that. My omelette was exceptional. My boys shared the little pancake dish off the kids menu($ 3.99). It is one scrambled egg, 6 mini pancakes, and although it comes with bacon, I asked for sausage, which came in the form of a patty. It was the perfect amount of food for them, considering they had gorged themselves on the donuts. We only had water to drink so I cannot attest to the coffee or other beverages. A very cute place to eat. They also have a lunch menu, but I did notice there is no kids lunch menu. Just a kids breakfast menu.

Awesome donuts! My son got an extra cake donut so I tried it. I don’t know why; I don’t even like cake donuts all that much. But wow! I’m gonna have to go back JUST for those! Coffee was good — the owner gave me free coffee, so even better! And the owner and her son were sooo nice! I’ll definitely be going back!

Stopped in for coffee this morning, nothing else… tried the dark columbian, big cup, $ 2.15 and this is pretty good stuff! The store looks the same as I remember from a visit a few years ago. The little lady behind the counter was super nice. So far, this cup… so good! I’m always on the hunt for good coffee in Carrollton. If you have a suggestion, I’m all ears!

This place has the best jelly-filled donut holes! But they don’t make many of them, so get there early to snag a few. The owner is a delightful older Korean(I think) lady who will likely remember you if you come in once a month or so. This is a low-key café that also serves breakfast. Breakfast takes a little longer to make, but it’s worth the wait. I haven’t tried the coffee yet, but the donuts are delicious!

This is still a great spot for breakfast and pastries. We went in today after a long absence and found a new, larger menu and the same fast, friendly service. Definitely a place to remember.

Needs a make-over. They’re really nice, but the cook doesn’t look clean. The breakfast is just okay.

Early morning work. First time ever to visit a Doughnut shop in the morning and talk about a first experience let down. We came in and we were rushed and could barely hear the attendant but then found out she was new. Because the old lady there was saying«if I can’t hear you while I’m next to you then they can’t hear you.» Sorry ma’am I heard her. I was just like you, an ear piece in my ear. I took mine out and heard her the 2nd time. My whole first experience went down the drain and I felt sorry for that girl. I’m a trainer myself at my job and I know better not to reprimand my staff in front of customers.

I’m actually really a fan of this place! The outside looks a bit crummy, and the inside isn’t much better, but man, can they cook a good breakfast! And I wasn’t even expecting it because I thought it was JUST a donut shop… nope! They’ve got a great menu with great selections. And the portion sizes are just right. We had waffles, breakfast taco, and bacon/eggs. They were all delish. Really great, filling(but not TOO filling) food! The service is always genuinely grand as well. The guy who works there is a bit talkative at times, but he’s nice. And the couple, I guess owners, are always super friendly and helpful. So anyway, the place doesn’t just have donuts. They have a full breakfast menu that isn’t too shabby. I’d say if you want something cheap, good tasting, and easy, give it a shot. The only downfall(subtract one star) is that they don’t have good coffee. It was like Folger’s or something… or that could just be me being a coffee snob. Either way.

I work in the area so popped by thinking I could get some delish soup which I did — they have a fab homemade Chicken Noodle Soup I also had Tuna in a bed of lettuce atop tomato — this tuna is not very good it needs to be less mayo and more pickly juice — too runny for my taste. They also forgot my tomato and it wasn’t so sad since they were sort of old tasting in flavor. The lettuce is not leafy green but just the cheap kind The store itself could use a TV and some AC but the kid who works there is pretty nice and will eat a jalapeño whole if you ask him to and he tells funny stories but the service was a bit slow I will drop by but it isn’t a must

We stopped in here this past week, and we are glad we did. The only complaint is the refrigerated drinks rather than a soda fountain. Not a deal-breaker, though. Both of us ordered the club sandwiches, hubby got chips and I got fries. I was so happy to see sweet potato fries on my plate when she brought it out. They were hot and fresh and really good. The sandwiches were great, nice slices of ham, some cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Just very simple and good. We tried but could not resist the pastry case. I had noticed a very small apple fritter, so I asked for that and one donut hole with sprinkles… the lady gave us those 2 items and then threw in a couple of other small treats«on the house». She was very sweet and the pastry items were delicious. We’ll definitely be back with our son, so he can try the bacon mushroom swiss burger. We also want to try breakfast, because the owner? said it’s very, very good. I believe her.

I have been coming here since august 2006. Yummy kolaches, donuts and coffee. They offer cooked breakfast and lunch however I’ve never had and can’t review that. I do see a coupon in the local mailer often for it too! During school in the mornings it’s a regular hot spot for students. I recommend!

Great place to sit down for donuts and kolaches in the morning. Since they are on the corner of this little shopping strip, the seating is very open and comfortable with windows on two sides. There’s not much to say except that the staff is very friendly, and the prices are very reasonable on everything.
