Design Floors

After our home was flooded due to a broken water pipe, we chose Design Floors to replace the whole house with floor coverings. Bryson carefully assisted us through the entire job that turned out perfect and better than it was before the flood. The entire process from selecting the materials to the final clean up was done professionally, on-​time and at a very competitive cost. I would recommend Design Floors to anyone.

We shopped all of the competition from small to big, from Carrollton to Richardson and everything in between, over the span of a couple of months, looking for a reasonable bid to install laminate flooring in our house. While Design Floors’ bid was slightly higher than the rest, the professional interactions with DF staff as well as the word-​of-​mouth through various review sites for DF cinched the deal. From the start, we felt very comfortable with the superb customer service from Design Floors. After the installation, we even went back to Design Floors to buy more laminate for DIY. Would do business with them again and recommend them to anybody shopping for flooring.

Design floors did a great job! My house looks awesome! They installed wood laminate and it’s beautiful! The installation only took 1 day which made me very happy! There were a couple of communication flaws. I didn’t receive a call back when they told me they would call, but they apologized and it never happened again. Their prices are fantastic and beat every other place that I shopped. I would use them again.

Design Floors installed our wood laminate throughout, ceramic tile in kitchen, and carpet in bedrooms. The entire process was smooth from start to finish even considering weather related delays. Have recommended to friends and would definitely use them again!

Design Floors is the only one to choose for your flooring needs! I had them remove my rugs and replace with laminate wood. Their workers come in and take great care to make sure your floor is perfect! They care so much that they made sure my grandfather clock (made by my father) was completely level and working right before they completed their job. It is so nice to know that I have a beautiful professional laid floor done by a business that cares for their clients!

Overall floors look great. There were some communication issues as we went to the store and picked flooring and colors but then when the installers came they asked what color stain did we pick? Also had a few issues with «keys» — Probably need a better frontend process. Did have a issues with the proposal (s) (I recommend a careful review) with incorrect information etc. Think we had three or four edits before we had a solid proposal. They did include furniture moving and a cleaning after the floors were done. They might want to consider a differnt cleaning company — wasn’t impressed at all and recleaned many areas. In the original plan we were told that the heating/​cooling systems would be turned off and return vents blocked off. That DID not happen as the filters were packed with fine dust and colapsed — their response was «guess we forgot to do it» no other offer to clean units or? Also will want to clarify additional charges in writing. We received our final bill and had a charge for door work. We paid it but I’m still not clear that is wasn’t part of the original agreement. Oh well, I do recommend them (workers) just make sure you have clear communication with owner/​office staff.

We’ve had two wood flooring jobs performed by Design Floors. Each job has been professional, and quickly completed, with great results. I enjoyed working with them, and look forward to replacing the kitchen floor in the future.
