Bed Bath & Beyond

I love going to bed bath and beyond… in Grapevine! I made the mistake of going to the lewisville location today. The staff was sour, sorry, and obviously deserve to work in off peak hours. Everyone was unhelpful. No one wanted to verify the price of the pillows I was attempting to purchase or work the register. They all spent their time cussing at each other over the walkie talkies they had.
I finally get to the register and the 100 year old lady with the 1000 years of bad attitude working there walked away and went outside to gather baskets… the young girl there walked away as well leaving 4 people in line stating she needed to find a tag before she can work. A third lady there stated she was visiting only and cant help anyone???
What the hell??? So yes i left. Went to grapevine location. Got greeted and helped and my pillows with excellent service as always.
Management needs to clean house in Lewisville.

I bought the wrong size curtains and had to exchange. Wonderful service, both on the floor when I was trying to find the correct items; and I had an easy exchange process at the register.
The item I was looking for was not on the shelf. The man who helped looked until he found the curtain rings and then pulled a bunch down for the other employee so she wouldn’t have to climb a huge ladder herself. I was impressed with the teamwork between the employees. I don’t see that in stores much anymore.

I came in today to return a tea infuser mug that didn’t come with the infuser, at first the guy at customer service LACKED customer service and was very arrogant and rude while I tried to just get a replacement and shoved my stuff to the side while he waited for someone else to come help me. The woman that came to take care of it interrupted me and charged me EXTRA for an even exchange. Never coming back.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. So a friend got married in Miami and we couldn’t make the wedding (big bummer), but she was registered at BBB and I found a gift that we wanted to send. I had one of those 20% off coupons and was planning to order off her registry online and use the coupon but DUN DUN DUN… you can’t use those obnoxiously large paper coupons they send you in the mail online. Well dang! But I called customer service and you can go in a store and bring your coupon and they can order it there. That’s what I did.
I went in and told the front desk I needed to order something from a registry. There was no one at the registry area so they called someone over. A nice employee helped me find the item with the registry info and I was able to use my coupon and save $ 14. Perfect! I got my receipt and confirmation and the bride and groom sent me a thank you note a few weeks later, woo hoo!

They are a nice place to stop by to get cute and useful things for your house but this particular location does have a good choice in their «discounted» section and their employees are helpful and pleasant to be assisted by. They are pretty organized but the location is not all that great because it is hidden a bit further back from 3040 so it is not too visible from the street but if you’re venturing out to find it, you definitely will. (check behind BOFA, Sonic, and Exxon!!)

I have to admit I like this store but it is a little crowded. The main aisles are filled with merchandise which made it hard to move around the store. They have also reduced the amount of home décor art. The service was fast and friendly at checkout. I do have to admit the while I was shopping in the store no one offered assistance. In a store of this size I think there would be more sales associates on the floor helping customers.

Holy CRAP, I could get lost in this place, and I could come out of this store with no money left. THEY have everything and ANYTHING you can think of for your home. If you don’t know where anything is, find a worker, they will take you to where you need to go, but be sure to expect to spend a little extra. They can be a little pricey, and you will want to buy everything here.
