I worked with the staff at my father’s death and the staff service was wonderful. I would not remember where my family was but they were happy to point out the locations of son and others

I received a telephone call from StoneMor. He provided me with his plan of action and a proposed time line. He listened to my concerns. I feel confident those concerns will be addressed to my satisfaction. I will continue to update.

Wife and I just recently purchased 2 grave plots at Kingwood. Based on the other 2 ratings we fully expected a hard sell when we got there and a bunch of calls later at home if we didn’t sign that day. We didn’t find any of that. What we found were salespeople who focused the discussions on OUR needs, not their sales. Not only did not try to «push» anything on us, they helped us immensely by pointing out things we never would have considered had we not met with them. In addition to the lack of a sales pitch, the thing that impressed me most was their«can do» attitude.” Again, It was obvious from our discussions that the focus was on our needs and not their sales. Another thing that impressed me was the sensitivity shown by the sales staff. Sure its their job but having been born at night, not last night, I’m pretty perceptive and observant about what people say and how they say it and I one could sense that their sensitivity was genuine. Finding burial plots is never a fun thing, but we found this experience, interesting, informative and most of all when we left we had a total peace of mind that we had made the right choices. Our thanks to Angie and John for their patience and their caring. You folks do a great job.

I have had nothing but trouble since 2008 with kingwood. After my child passed away from SIDS at 4 months old I had him buried here. To start off the burried him in a different plot then I paid for and did not mark the plot. They were unable and unwilling to help find him until I formally wrote a letter of complaint informing I would involve a lawyer. Now 5 years later its as if I’m reliving this nightmare. I went to see my child on his birthday and I have his face etched in granet and there is a huge cut across his face where equipment was drug across and ruined my head stone. Chris Cusma was the advisor«helping» me. He called me addressing my son by the wronge name and then basically informed me that they didn’t do it and he didn’t care if it was replaced or not. I have never encountered a more rude, arrogant man in my life. Not only was he not taking the blame he was making it as if I brought equipment and did it my self. After I informed him I would need to speak with my lawyer he laughed and told me to make sure I give them his name.

Run by a professional sales staff, unless you are buying don’t ask for anything. Own eight family crypts in a memorial we paid $ 8K for. Went to ask where my aunt and uncle are interred and was given a hard sell. After some discussion they gave me a map but couldn’t provide me with any idea where the section was or provide a cemetery map. Stumbled upon the plots marked on the map, no relatives there? If I knew they were unmarked graves I would have gotten my cousins together on a monument. Either they missed a sale or gave me wrong information. Currently checking into moving my family monument else where.
