CLOSED. Went there today looking for the bisque Danan recommended. Was very excited but the store is for rent. I don’t know if they moved or not but I don’t see another listing.

First, no one(in all the great reviews) mentioned that this place is take out only — so for all the new people — this place is not a sit down restaurant. Now, the menu here was extensive and the staff friendly. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. We probably only needed on entrée it was that much food. Because the place was take out by the time we got my rare tuna home it was way way overcooked :(My husband’s fish was tasty and the sides on both our dishes delicious. Our appetizers and soups were also yummy. I think if we could have sat down — or if we lived a little bit closer I might have been able to give a higher rating because the food wouldn’t have been in our car for 8 min while we drove home.

Since I still had that melt from Checker’s, I just stopped in on my way home from work to grab a cup of lobster bisque and side of crabmeat salad to complete a quiet dinner in. The bisque was creamy and savory, and just thick enough so that it would be fantastic as a dip for fresh bread from Corropolese or People’s. I only had toasted Butter Bread courtesy of Sara Lee but it was still delicious. Seriously, try it. Heat the soup for a few min while you toast a roll and then enjoy! It’s more savory, healthier, and more flavorful than EVOO or Irish butter. I didn’t actually intend on finishing the entire bowl but it was that good. The lump crabmeat salad was creamy and full of actual pieces of crab, not«krab» aka surimi. I can imagine that it would be fantastic on a toasted, buttered roll. Alas, father dearest tried a bite and ate the entire container before I even got a second taste. Next time, I’ll remember to get more(and hide some for myself in the fridge). Service was very friendly and helpful. I’ll have to stop in for lunch since their entrees(and just about everything else) are very nicely priced(less than $ 10 for fish, starch, and veggie). And the leftover late-lunch melt? Only ate about half due to the unintended bisque overindulgence. It just paled in comparison to the soup.

Great seafood(the place smells clean — like the ocean — but not at all fishy) and the staff is friendly. They have lots of options, great lobster bisque, and ample entrees. The fish and chips were delicious although heavily breaded. The tuna was cooked a little too medium for my taste but still very good(and the grilled veggies were perfect and very healthy).

Awesome place for takeout. Went looking for some snow crab and found this place. Went in before the closed. They took out 4 pounds of crab for me, steamed ‘em and seasoned ‘em. And they provided for some awesome banter as the crabs were steaming. Can’t wait to go back and try some other things.

We just ordered dinner after a long hiatus, actually too long. I’m telling you, this is not your usual FRESH seafood takeout. Alex is not a cook… he is a chef in his own right. The dishes he puts together are amazing, so tasty, and perfectly seasoned, every time! I had Mahi-mahi with a salmon and crab stuffing… WOW. Accompanied with FRESH roasted veggies and rosemary roasted potatoes, yummmm. Bonnie had the broiled seafood combo, Monk fish topped with a crab imperial, large shrimp and scallops, she couldn’t stop eating until it was gone. And the portions are generous. We have purchased party platters for holidays. If you want to do something special, check out their«Party Platters» menu.
