Went in for lunch with my wife. The owner acknowledged us, the waitress was quick as was the kitchen (few other customers were there, due to early hour) The ruben sandwich was open face and large, my wife’s crab cake sandwich was even larger (her favorite menu item) we took our time to enjoy our meals the only issue was the waitress was almost constantly at our table. While we appreciate the effort it was a bit overkill. Next time we’ll tell her to shoo… LOL

I used to go here as a kid. So when I popped in good ol’ Ltown I took a turn back into time. I haven’t been to this place since I was 12. I am now 31. The place is EXACTLY the same. The décor is old and they still have TV in the back, lamps with strings over tables. Needs some updating but I guess the nostalgia is good? Anyways, the food was excellent when I was a youth and it did not disappoint once again. I got their French onion soup which was incredible. My wife and I both got cheesesteaks (bacon cheesesteak and buff chick). They were both the best I’ve had in quite some time and near identical to back in the day. Server was excellent. Can’t wait to go back in. You always get a couple funny looks from some silver haired dudes who probably just got off of work though at a steel mill or something. So just nod and walk to your table then you will love the food at Kasdons!

After being seated at a table by one server, our server berated her for seating us at a table with more chairs then our party, told us off for sitting there and later in the night was overheard telling another able that we took up valuable real estste in her section. There were severel empty tables. We offered to move twice. Our orders were served to the wrong people and my medium burger was well done, dry as a bone. Made me sad.
Used to be able to get a great burger in a friendly place there.

Great food, just wish they would update the place. I feel like I time warp back to the 1970’s when I enter the place. It smells like it hasn’t been cleaned since then either. Last time I was in there I almost gagged on the smell. Someone probably spilled beer on the nasty rugs and didn’t clean it properly. The lights are really low and that is probably a good thing. I crave their Kasdon’s fries & pizza every once in a while but I don’t want to go in the place. Such a shame.
