Hurricanes did do the right thing after this posting and refunded me my money… I will give them another chance… That says slot about an establishment willing to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction… Thank you.

Absolutely horrible, from the moment we walked in to the hipster doofus host/waiter/busboy, it went downhill. We got there at 2PM on a Tuesday which should be a very slow time, and it was. Time seems to stand still… we sat there waiting for the waiter to decide whether to wipe the tables down or keep watching the soccer game on the television.(don’t worry about the only two customers in the restaurant, we had nothing else to do, we’ll wait for you here all day long!). why we stayed to this day I don’t know but it’s an hour and a half my life I will never get back. Remember you have been warned! And don’t get me started on the food…

My mom and I decided to go on a lunch date here since she’s been dying to try it. We went on Good Friday, so it was pretty empty and it was just us and one other group of people. The waiter was really friendly and attentive. Right when we walked in, my mom and I really liked the layout. She compared it to a Joe’s Crab Shack, it looked really beachy and cute inside. He allowed us to use a coupon for free garlic parm fries since we were not able to receive the email for it. The fries were really good, extra crunchy! We also ordered hot wings and ancho chili lime wings. I wasn’t crazy about about the ancho chili lime wings, so I ordered a side of hot sauce to dip it in. The hot wings were really delicious though. Hurricane Wings is closer to my house than Buffalo Wild Wings, but I prefer Wild Wings more. No complaints really about this place, it was good. I can see it getting really busy on weekends, but it was a nice place to go for lunch during the week.

I’ve never had any desire to try this place until I had a few beers and couldn’t drive to go get some wings. That being said, this review is based primarily on delivery. I ordered about thirty boneless wings for the night – one mild/bbq and one medium. The delivery, which took about 45 – 50 minutes, wasn’t bad and I was actually rather impressed. The food came perfectly cooked and still at great temperature. I would definitely order from here again. Due to the ratings on here, I shied away from this spot but it is not at all bad for wing delivery.

Great wings not the cheapest. The atmosphere is like a fast food joint. I wish this was a nicer bar but there’s something just not quite right. It feels like you’re in a storefront not a restaurant. There wasn’t many customers and we still waited quite a while to be served and for our food.

Just walked out. Sat down and waited over 10 min… no one came to even get a drink order. Place was empty. Will never return.

This is specifically for their take out services. They are very quick to prepare your order but charge you extra for more sauce, unlike when you are dining in. Despite that, the food is always well prepared and delicious every time I order to go.

We went for 60-cent wings on Happy Hour Wednesdays. The décor was a lot cleaner than I thought and the space was well-lit. We only ordered wings. The sauces are hit-or-miss: the hottest buffalo wings were spicy as advertised and we thought that the dynamite was perfect. The honey chipotle barbeque was plain barbeque sauce and the Thai chili was okay, although it was not spicy enough. I thought it was weird that they did not bring out celery until I requested it. The servers made quick refills on the sodas. It’s not the best chicken wing ever but the wings were fried well and the service was okay for a chain restaurant. They had sports on TV as well. I don’t know about paying full price on these jumbo wings, but the 60-cent discount was a good value.

This evening, November 1st, 2015 I called in an order over the phone for pick-up. I ordered 10 piece boneless wings with ranch dressing & an additional side of blue cheese that I was charged for. Once I got home, I realized I never received any of the sauces with my order. I’m just really upset that after a $ 30 check, something always has to go wrong. I drove back to this location and picked up the sauces I was charged for. By the time I got home to eat my dinner, more than half an hour had passed & my food was freezing. It’s just unfair & I felt that you should know I’m really disappointed with the service I received today.

We ordered 50 wings on their online service. We were given an estimate of 20 minutes. Totally skeptical, we waited 40 minutes before we went to pick up. We get there and our wings are not ready and we couldn’t be given an estimate as to when our order would be ready. «They’re really backed up» was the excuse we were given. We waited another 40MINUTES and were asked our name 5 times. Seriously, one order of wings and the girl could not remember. After waiting a total of an hour and a half, we got our order. An ordered that was estimated to be ready in 20 minutes. If you order take out from here, be ready to wait. We weren’t the only ones.

My parents really like this place, and I see why: very nice staff, super casual environment, and lots and lots of fried food. We went early for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was practically empty around 6, but was full by the time we left around 8. We shared the signature sampler to start, which came with fried shrimp, fried pickles, chicken wings, and garlic parmesan french fries. The pickles and fries were the highlight of the plate. For my entrée I ordered boneless wings with a spicy honey BBQ sauce and a side of broccoli. The wings were good but the broccoli was not. It tasted like it might have been frozen and then heated up in the microwave. To be honest, suburban chains typically aren’t my cup of tea, so I’m surprised that I liked this place! Considering the name, it’s easy to see why the best part of Hurricane Grill & Wings is the wings, and the sheer number of sauce options. It was hard to pick just a few to try!

Came in for lunch and ended up just get a sample platter with a fried pickles, fried shrimp, wings and as well as garlic fries that was all pretty tasty even the pickles and I’m not a fan of pickles. i liked the fries so much that ended up just munching on that the rest of the visit. Waiter was very attentive to are tables as well as the other. Keeping refills coming and making sure everything was going swell. Place was very tidy and clean with great food and service I’d recommend this wing spot to all wing lovers.

This place is a nice little wing shop. Stopped here for lunch today and had a fajita bowl. It was pretty good. I have had their wings before and they are good as well. The only reason why I went 3 stars over 4 is value. They offer no lunch specials whatsoever which was especially disappointing because I was on my way to a lunch spot across the street that has $ 5& $ 6 lunches and $ 2 beers and then spend a whopping $ 11 on chicken and rice. Probably will save my money next time but still worth a visit for happy hour.

Similarly styled to Buffalo Wild Wings but I like this place much better. My friend and I shared the sampler starter platter and garlic parm wings. The garlic parm is soooooooo good, must try! Only downside was how greasy everything was but that’s typical of fried food. Great service and everything came out really quick.

I recently had a baby, the wife and I have been cooped up in the house with the baby and needed to go Out to a family restaurant that was quick and easy. We stopped by TGI Fridays… But there was a long wait so we drive down Hempstead trpk and said lets try this place. It was prett cool, it’s a jimmy buffet meets Applebee’s/ buffalo wild wings kinda place Surfy atmosphere and a large bar, but geared towards a family restaurant. I tried the fried fish and chips which I never do, and I came great, we order boneless chicken fingers with all these sauces That stuff was great, my wife’s wrap kinda sucked but the other stuff is pretty good. 31⁄2 stars

Wings are good, not phenomenal. I like em. So I saw they had ¢.60 wings on Wednesdays. I wanted to take it to go. Dude was like«no» done in only. I asked why and again guy just said no. Wtf? I are there then bar guy had an attitude. So I’m expecting the celery and blue cheese to be included in the dish. They were an additional ¢75EACH. who rats wings or serves wings without blue cheese and celery? I asked again why, he said cuz the wing prices are so low. SODONTBOTHEROFFERINGCHEAPWINGSIFYOUCANTAFFORDIT! You’re doing it at the cost of your service and reputation. I was liking this place, but now I think I’ll just stick with Buffalo Wild Wings wings are better and no surprise charges. Waitresses are very nice and courteous.

Not good at all. Went there for lunch and the tilapia was dry and unsavory. Probably frozen and reheated. Very sad because the restaurant looks cute. The rice on the side was also dry and stale. Avoid this place.

There is really no other way to start this than by saying how much I love this place. Just stumbling upon this one day, my family thought it would be a basic Chicken Shack. Well, it’s a fun bar & grill, but the food is awesome. More than what you’d expect. My Dad is picky when he goes to these places and he loves it. They have about 30 different wing sauces. The drinks are made well, not watered down. I suggest starting off with the Tropical Storm app. The staff is always friendly. Great spot to fine in Long Island.
