I’ve always wanted to try this place out. When i finally did, I was pleased to find the staff very attentive and friendly, the place was clean and not too crowded. The quality of food was average… nothing special. I prefer to eat here than in IHOP just because the food tasted fresh… more like a home cooked meal. No frills, no gimmicks, not over the top.

I guess this could be ranked a little lower but it does deserve at least a 4-star based on portions relative to dollars spent. They really need to step up in two categories though, spices and quality of the bacon. The bacon has to be the most bland and tasteless I have ever experienced. Please, buy anything but whatever that crap is you are calling bacon, no self respecting pig could produce a pork product that bad. Admittedly, I like my food to have flavor that stimulates my wanting to have another bite, I had the Santa Fe Omelette which, by name alone, one would hope suggests a west coast flare. It was not there. I thought I was on a bland diet being concocted by a prison chef. Spices,… what spices? I asked for hot sauce, something to wake up that awful omelette, and all they had to offer is Tabasco? Are you kidding me? Any self-respecting eatery carries at least three varieties of spices. I may return there, not in the near future but even I believe they deserve another chance. Maybe their lunches are noteworthy.

In today to cool down and enjoy a nice breakfast. My omelette today looked as great as it tasted. Everything was fresh hot and delicious except the fresh strawberries and cream they were cool and amazing.

This is a new favorite. Their breakfast casserole is the best thing on the menu. We loved Sunday brunch, especially if you get to sit by the window and get to watch a baseball game across the street at the park. There aren’t really any other restaurants doing brunch in this area, so it’s nice not to have to travel that far.

I’ve lived in the area for about a year, and have been eating here for a few months so it’s time for a review! The food is always excellent, whether it’s a nice Sunday breakfast or a weeknight dinner I’ve never been let down! The prices are great too as I always feel I get plenty of bang for my buck. A friendly wait and host staff that seem genuinely interested in making every experience a good one is also a nice touch! There are lots of places to eat in the area, but I highly recommend trying The Garden of Eatin first!

A great restaurant. Got in around 6:30 and was seated right away. I ordered the breakfast dish(ham, onion, pepper omelet on top of hash browns) and it was amazing. You get enough for two meals at a very low price. The French onion soup was also great, as were the dinner rolls. The waitress took our orders right away and came back to give us refills promptly. The food didn’t take long to come, and it was hot.

We had an event upstairs: a bridal shower for our daughter. There wete just under 50 attendees. We got the sunday brunch menu(omlet station, Belgian waffles, prime rib and turkey carving station. There were several more hot entrees, bagels. Lox and fixins with salads, wonderful fresh fruit and excellent deserts, with much much more on the buffet]. Almost 50 people and absolutely not one negative comment: only rave reviews! Management was accommodating and supportive. The room looked elegent with a sound system and an LCD system for pictures and music. There were customized centerpieces and our choice of linen color combinations. Service was excellent, the food was plentiful and of good quality. The room, service and décor with such excellent food made this a real hidden gem. We had an excellent experience.

Typical diner food not really very good Service wasn’t really good too many young girls serving and not doing a very good job at it. Sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Well I can say it is very nice building it’s a shame the food is not as good as the building looks.

I normally don’t eat your typical sandwiches but decided to try out Garden of Eatin since the price point was so low. The facility itself is very clean with a good mixture of small and large tables to accommodate all group sizes. They also have an upstairs area for a Sunday buffet. The menu is standard US food. Sandwiches, soups, salads and such. I didn’t notice anything that was really unique. Garden of Eatin does make their own potato chip which were decent but not much different than the standard fare. I dont’ see this as place I would come back to just to eat. There is nothing wrong with it at all but nothing really special either.

The name of the place kind of screams a kind of «strap on the ol’ feedbag» low quality greasy spoon type place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was good, service was good, food was decent and priced about right. Good place for lunch.

This is another of my go-to places when I can use some time off from the kitchen at home and want a health-conscious meal without breaking my budget. I appreciate the freshness of the food, the option for small portion meals(i.e. reasonable, instead of double or triple the amount of food a 125 pound person wants to eat at a sitting), and for the very down-to-earth prices. My favorite dishes there include the crab cake and salad(with homemade dressing), the grilled salmon(either over salad or as an entrée with sides), and the steak and eggs. My husband likes the Salisbury steak. The food is a solid 4-plus. The entrees, in particular, are cooked to perfection, but other aspects of the meal do not feature the seasonings or panache that would prompt a «gourmet» 5. However, they serve a very pleasing meal at a great price and the service is always pleasant, hence the 5 rating.

Decent food, not super expensive and fast service. Nothing to complain about, but nothing that blows my socks off. It’s a step up from the other dingy diners in the area, so that’s a plus!

Wonderful service. Quick and courteous. Didn’t wait long for anything at all. However, the food was just okay. Nothing to hit home about. Kind of reminded me of going to the diner. I will say that they’re homemade chips are pretty good though!

We had a lovely Presidents’ Day lunch hear and really enjoyed everything. Service and quality are very consistent. I had the veggie panini and it was delicious. Everyone in my party was very satisfied with what they ordered and the waitress was attentive and very nice.

Alot to say about this restaurant. Especially the name, is nothing I would have come up with. Ithe outside is nice with a parking lot on the side, front and in the back. So can never say can’t find a place to park. When I walked in I was overwhelmed by how nice a restaurant can looked. How clean and how much room was to move. Got seated a.s.a.p, looked at the big menu, and alot to choose from especially when it comes to Breakfast, I went with the French toast with the fruit on top. It’s always been one of my favorites. It’s plenty to eat so got nothing on the side. The plate was filled. No room to add, Prices are average for breakfast, the waitress was nice in happy mood always back to the table asking if I need anything esle. Over all I recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to heading back for another great morning for breakfast!

On my next trip back I did not have as great of an experience. I ordered of the regular menu. The cream of chicken soup was very good and tasted homemade. Our service was slightly off. Our entrees were brought within 2 minutes of our appetizers. The Waldorf chicken salad was very dry. The fries had been sitting for a long while. Will give it another try.
