It was late night and has been months since we have subjected our bodies to the demanding task of processing American Chinese. Ordered delivery from here last week and they actually made an exception and delivered to Ayer for a promise of a higher than average tip. Pretty cool that they did that because our selection of Chinese delivery here is awful. Pretty hard to communicate over the phone as the 2 people I spoke two could hardly speak English, but we overcame that and strangely gave me that much more faith that the food would be good. Delivery came pretty quickly considering they were going out of their way. I was going to be forgiving for delivery time anyway. Driver had some trouble finding my door and when he called for directions there was yet another communication barrier. We couldn’t understand each other at all, but I walked down the street a bit and met him. He seemed pretty grateful for the tip and then when I realized he didn’t take as much as I told him to(again due to language barrier) and gave him more, he expressed his gratitude. The food was pretty good. Your typical Americanized Chinese. The pork fried rice, chicken fingers and beef teriyaki were all good. The crab rangoon I felt was lacking, though. Didn’t really have much filling and was hard to detect the cream cheese. Pork spare ribs were acceptable. Not overly dry. Coming from Lowell(where there is a vast selection of great Chinese food,) my rating could be misconstrued a bit. I’d say for the area they get a 4, but overall I give them a 3. Would order again(in a few more months of course) unless I find another highly rated place to deliver here.

Best Americanized Chinese takeout in Leominster! The people there are very polite too, which is always a plus.

I love lucky café. Although, I may not be the best judge because I only eat a few chinese items. Every time me and my brother order Spicy beef lo-mien, chicken fingers, and crab rangoon. I love their lo-mien because I’m such a picky eater and don’t like water chestnuts or mushrooms. Ask for extra spicy and it will make you sweat! The chicken fingers are always perfect, never over or under cooked. We’ve also gotten beef fried rice once before and that was good too. It’s best to get delivery because the place is really small and not much to look at. You can pay by credit card over the phone for delivery orders as well, and the drivers are always polite. But If you do dine in or get take out, check out their board where they write specials. P. S. If you go in and grab a menu you can use the coupon on the the bottom that is for one free item(crab rangoon, chicken figers, 2 liter soda, etc.) if you spend over $ 20.

While in Leominster, I stopped for lunch at Lucky Café very recently. The place is pretty small, a typical Chinese takeout place with a few seats for eating in. Lucky Café has a good sized menu including the standard Chinese dishes, as well as moo shi dishes, healthy lite dishes(vegetables/tofu), Peking duck, fresh scallops(Hunan style) and more. They also have 10 Daily Specials($ 4.95), 31 Lunch Specials($ 5.85-$ 7.95), and 30 Combination Plates($ 7.95-$ 8.95). I got takeout and ordered the L10($ 6.65): Shrimp With Cashew Nuts, Pork Fried Rice, and appetizer choice(I got 2 beef teriyakis). The food was cooked to order quickly(about 5 minutes). The good lunch portion of hot food was very good. The beef teriyaki sticks were very sweet, tender and chewy. The pork fried rice(yellow/tan color) was moist with tender roast pork pieces. The main dish had a good mix of fresh crunchy vegetables, soft shrimp and plenty of cashew nuts in a tangy sauce. Overall, a good hot and tasty lunch with quick service at a fair price.
