I visit this Spin! often because I work across the street. But that’s not really what keeps me coming back. The food is always tasty. I usually get the Mini Mia with a salad and a small pizza — healthier than just pizza.
I’m doing this review to give a shout out to Mikayla, who usually takes my order. She is always cheerful and helpful. I usually order gluten free. Last week I forgot to mention it, but she asked me because she remembered! That’s great customer service.
I’ll be back to this location and others closer to home.

We eat at SPIN pretty regularly and have done so at multiple locations, Prairie Village and Leawood, before moving out west and close to the Renner location. When we first started coming to the Renner location we were pretty disappointed in the service. Same great food but less than average service. However, since Amy took over it has been drastically improved. They are now far more focused on customer service. This has certainly brought us back more frequently.

My wife and son had a great experience at this Spin location. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The salad selection is a welcome addition to pizza selections. My son absolutely loved his gelato, we will be back soon!

This Spin restaurant is spotlessly clean. The servers were all so friendly and worked together as a real team. My husband and I thought the pizzas were delicious, and the salads were as fresh and yummy as any we have anywhere. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

Spin has great food and a great atmosphere. I’m giving them five stars because we arrived with a group and after eating I packed a to go box with my leftover pizza and left it on the table to treat my son to some of their delicious gelato (peanut butter cup is Delish). Our group was still there so we went outside to enjoy our sweet treat and the gorgeous weather.
While we were outside with another member of our group, the rest of the party left. Upon coming back inside I was so sad to see my to go box had been cleared from the table. When I inquired about it, they had tossed it already but made me an entire other pizza to go without me having to ask for anything.

SPIN! How I love you, SPIN!
It doesn’t matter the location, SPIN! is always a magnificent place to eat. I’ve never gone wrong with anything I’ve ordered there. For the longest time, I would always get the Mama Mia combo with salad and pizza. But lately I took a step back from their delicious pizza and explored some other options.
I can now say that I’m a huge fan of their eggplant parmesan. The other day I had their giant cheese stuffed meatball and it was glorious. Pair either of these dishes with an 8 color salad and I have myself a meal that I rave about for hours afterwards.
Not only is their food delicious, but it’s artistically pleasing, as well. All of their dishes are Instagram worthy.

We tried Spin for the first time a few weeks ago. The staff was super friendly. The pizza wasn’t bad but nothing to write home about. I made my own with chicken and veggies. I do like that you can make the pizza to your liking with a lot of choices and can choose an individual pizza. Their minestrone soup was really good and they have happy hours for wine etc and they gave you a good amount. Price is good for what you get.

If you’re into Neapolitan pies this is certainly a good choice. Over the years I’ve tried about half the pre-​built options available and I haven’t had a bad one. The food is always good and the staff is friendly as well. My only complaint is that its only about a 40% chance if you order an appetizer that it comes out before your food. Additionally I’ve never cared much for the other menu items they offer outside the pizza, but hey it’s a pizza place first!

Food is mostly good. Service can be very inconsistent. I’m guessing a pretty high turnover rate for servers.
Update: The service has improved over the last month or so. Hopefully this continues. We enjoy the food and convenient location.

Every once in a while, I like the Neapolitan style pies from here. We had recently tried a new beer that we thought would be perfect with pizza, so we opted for a couple of pies from Spin. We went with the cinque formaggia, and the roasted portobello and crimini mushroom. The pizzas were fresh out of the oven when I arrived to pick them up– even had to wait a couple minutes for one of them! Wonderful flavors that went with our wild sage beer perfectly. It’d be nice to have the option for delivery, especially given the cost. Two pizzas came to nearly $ 26, so it’s right in line with other pizza places, but with much less of the corporate feel and flavor.

Omg, my server was so sweet. I walked in literally right as they were closing! Exceptional customer service. Keep up the good work Makayla! I’m in love with their Greek salad. I get it every time I go. Oh, I did try something new today :) their white pizza sauce. It’s pretty light so, I didn’t really taste anything different if that makes sense. This was my first time visiting this location and based on what I experienced today, I’ll be back.

Some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve EVER had! No lie. I was so impressed with this place and how they so graciously cater to people of all types. We got a gluten free bbq chicken and pineapple pizza and gf plus dairy free pesto chicken pizza for my brother. We also got a large spinach salad. Between 4 of us, this was plenty of food! The salad was quite amazing and the pizza was the best GF I’ve ever had. Wish we had one of these in Dallas…

At seven o’clock on a Tuesday evening the joint was less than half-​full so we had our choice of lots of tables, but not a single one of them was clean. After we had ordered and been seated for five minutes or so a server came with water and I had to ask him to please wipe down our table. Later we would ask for extra plates so we would not have to eat our pizza off of our dirty salad plates, but they never came. The staff here all seem really friendly but they completely miss on some of the basics of table service.
The food here is tasty but a bit on the pricey side and a liter carafe of bulk Chianti runs $ 18.95.
Spin is very trendy in Johnson County and they’ve begun to franchise the operation around the country. I’m certain they’ll do well but they will have to do it without any more of my money.

4 stars = «Yay! I’m a fan.» And that I am. I thought the pizza was good. Loved the Neopolitan style crust and everything tasted great. I also, liked the inside décor and the whole «vibe» I got – which caused me to give it the 5th star. My husband and I, plus my two young children had dinner here, but it would easily be appropriate for a casual date night. Who ever chose the music that was playing (Verve Remixed), should get a raise. I liked that the menu is quite large… and I’m talking about the wine/​beer/​drink menu. lol The food menu is just the same – lots of choices.
We plan to be regulars.
