I have taken 3 bridesmaid dresses to Oak Park Tailors (stop getting married, friends!) to be altered and they have done a fantastic job each time! It is very quick, and always expertly done.
One of the dresses was a difficult alteration job– one tailor I went to flat out said she wouldn’t do it and another said it would cost $ 300 (more than triple the cost of the dress-​CRAZY!)… Oak park tailors altered this dress perfectly, in one week, for about $ 40. Amazing!
They are so kind and helpful, I would recommend to anyone and I will certainly use them for all alterations I need in the future!

I couldn’t be more thrilled that I found Oak Park Tailors! I literally read the couple of positive reviews on Unilocal and decided to go for broke. I took 10 items to be taken in at the waist. Owner is absolutely lovely, kind, funny and sweet as can be – not to mention a master at her craft. She patiently encouraged me to try every pair on so she could mark every pair of shorts/​pants accurately. Every pair had mega stitching because I tend to purchase «outdoorsy» brands that are cool because of all the stitching detail. She did a wonderful job and I have a whole new wardrobe. Pricing is competitive and fair for what you get. My order was done timely as promised and every pair was sewn perfectly and neatly. If you’re looking for a tailor (whether you’re a guy or a gal), look no further than Oak Park Tailors. And then give her a positive review because it’s well deserved.

I have people bringing tailoring to this location all the way from Omaha! She is amazing! The place is clean, she is friendly, easily understood, and best of all, she has fabulous workmanship! On even the more difficult lined blazers, they are done perfectly and quickly. She knows her stuff, too! She understands trends on pant styling and how different styles should fit. I can’t say enough wonderful things and highly recommend even your most trusted high-​end clothing or black-​tie to her hand!
