THE BEST PIZZA IN LEMONT! HANDS DOWN! My family has been ordering from this place for years, and they haven’t failed us once! The thicker crust pizza is so good, and you can get any topping you want! It’s a shame that they don’t have indoor seating or anything, but they’re really great for parties or dinners for delivery/​carry out! Great place! :)

The only reason i am not giving this place a 5 star is because they do not have a place to eat inside but i thought the pizza was very good and the service and people that were working there was very nice i would defiantly recommend this place.

Poor Service. My wife called at 445 for a delivery to be delivered at 630. It was Halloween so we knew it would be busy and we had people coming over. At 640 my wife called back and asked if the pizza was on its way. She was told it would be there shortly. At 705 I called back and asked what the status was. I was told that it had been marked for pickup. I asked how could this be as my wife had just called 20 minutes ago and you had said it was on it’s way. He said he didn’t know but not to worry the pizza was ready. Well of course it is ready, it probably has been sitting there since 615 waiting for pickup. He said he could have it over in about a half hour. So I asked «are you are going to deliver me a pizza that that is an hour and a half old?» He said «it is hot don’t worry.» Yes I understand what a warmer is but I very much doubt a pizza sitting there for an hour and a half can be very good. I explained this too him and he said «Not sure what you want me to say, it’s the busiest day of the year.» I guess I just expect a rushed delivery as I only live 5 minutes away, maybe some sort of discount, or at the very least an apology. I realize they are busy but they have to be better than this. The disorganization in there is mind blowing. I cancelled the order. We have order from turnabout many times and have over looked the poor service on multiple occasions but this will be the last time.

Best pizza in Lemont and if there’s one thing you can get in Lemont it’s pizza. No indoor seating. You can buy a slice at lunch from 11:00 to 1:30 after that it’s all takeout or delivery.

No personality and rude employees. 7 people standing around and no1 addressed me. I had to ask them if I could buy a pie! Pizza is extremely greasy. Don’t waste your time.

Best pizza in the Lemont and Homer area hands down! Awesome sweet sauce, great sausage and the twisted crust is the best. Of the 20+ years the we’ve been getting pizzas from here, we only had one bad pizza that had to go back.

Randomly came in super hungry. Got hooked up with two slices. Good taste. Good price. Great customer service. Friendly. Check it out.

Probably the best thin crust pizza, I’ve ever had. Very tasty not your typical, chain store kind. Very delicious.

Get it every Friday for the 2 year. This place is still rockin’.

Ok at best, good to satisfy the kids but better pie can be found. Very greasy suggesting cheap ingredients, like I said, ok of you need to feed the kids after a game. But for family movie night someplace else would be suggested.

I wish I could give them a better review but I can’t. The pizza is awesome. The service is complete shit. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in when they tell me, the pizza is no where near ready and they like to tell me that I’m way earlier than I should be. The attitudes of the staff is extra special as well (total sarcasm there btw). If they had anyone responsible working there instead of a bunch of punk kids, it would probably improve. Until then, you should just show up 20 mins later than they tell you it will be ready. Hopefully you won’t have to wait much longer after that.

Ordered a pizzas, spent over $ 38 and when I arrived, I was told pizzas not ready… waited for 25 min more… This is the last time time I pay when I go in here… No pizza, No Pay… I WILL WALK OUT AND THE CAN EAT THEIR OWN LATE PIZZAS… JUST TERRIBLE. I can’t believe the owners allow this crap

Well, ok turnabout pizza. The only thing I didn’t like about this place was the sauce used on the pizza. It was way too sweet for MY taste.
Pulling in the lot I parked right next to the dumpster which was overflowing with empty bags of all purpose flour. Totally a good sign. Shows it’s homemade. Going inside the young men behind the counter were very friendly. There was an older guy who works there that was on his cell phone cursing and carrying on some kind of weird conversation. I wasn’t eavesdropping but the place is so tiny inside it’s hard to not hear someone on their phone cursing.
My order was ready on time and the pizza box literally had steam coming out of it. Totally awesome. I drove home and tried it out.
It’s not the first time I have had a hand twisted crust. It wasn’t the best as it did get kind of hard when you got to the edge of the crust due to the rolling. The ingredients were awesome and I loved the bacon I ordered on top of it. Non of that pre made crap here. I just wish there were more sauce on it and the sauce was less sweet. I won’t leave this place under four stars just because I didn’t care for the sauce. It’s a solid pizza joint with for the most part, a friendly staff. I would go back to try some other items.

Let me start by confessing that I am a very particular pizza junkie. I’ve driven past Turnabout probably a thousand times and finally decided to give it a shot. When I walked in and saw the old school pizza ovens, I knew I was in for a treat. The pizza is delicious and was cooked to perfection. I ordered pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom. The sauce is a bit in the sweeter side compared to most, but provides a good contrast to the salty meats. i am not a big fan of the rolled crusts in general, but that will not deter me from going back.
The staff was incredibly polite. Not sure if its a family run business, but that’s the vibe I got. It would be nice if they had some beers in the fridge to sip on while waiting for your order. I will definitely be back to Turnabout!

I grew up eating this pizza it’s the place I compare to every pizza place. No one can beat the great taste and the 40 years of experience. You must try. No turning back after you’ve tasted this delicious pizza.

If you are in Lemont you must try this place. Best pizza you can get in the Lemont area. The cheese is thick and the hand twisted crust is really one of a kind to me. The toppings are always good and the sauce is also a one of a kind sauce. Anytime I am in Lemont and looking to feed a group of people this is the place that I will go. It has a cool old fashion look on the outside and inside. The have a picnic table outside if someone decides they want to eat there but it is limited if people are already there to eat. There is no where to sit and eat other than that so it’s harder for people living from a distance to eat here.

For those of us that grew up in Lemont– we know that soccer games, other sports events, birthdays or other kids parties would not be complete without a few trips a year to Turnabout. I ate there many times — and it is pizza– Jon Stewart expectation pizza– you can hold it in 1 hand — not deep dish. For a kid it is great– for a family — it is dinner and what do you want on your pizza night.
Enjoy — local– helps keep you in a healthy choice over McD or BK for another day– and it is different than store bought.

I ordered a pizza from here for me and my friends about a week ago. We loved it! We got a large pepperoni pizza. It was cut into squares. Delicious.
We ate it hot and when it became room temperature and it was still wonderful.
Also, I ordered it and picked it up 1.5 hours late… it was still hot!

I’ve grown up eating this pizza and I craved it when I moved out of town for a few months. The pizza is always delicious and i’ve never been disappointed with any of the ones I’ve had. I also like that during the week they have pizza by the slice for lunch. Just ordered from them the other night and it was excellent. I love their thick crusts its one of the things i look forward to!
They also have really good Italian beef sandwiches. I like getting them with cheese. It’s a great alternative if you want something besides pizza.
I also love their drink selection — GREEN RIVER! I only know a few other places in the area where you can get this pop and i will occasionally pick up a bottle when I pick up my pizza. They also have a good selection of other soft drinks and beer.

The location and the reviews had me excited, the pizza left little to be desired. The crust is terrible, the cheese was lame, and the sauce was sweet! Blech!
you are better going to Lockport to Villa Nova and passing though gorgeous Lemont on the way.
