Northeast Pizza

Love the pizza here. It has the perfect taste and consistency of sauce. Great cheese taste and quantity. Perfect crust and is cooked just right. My kids and I love it. Drive from Charlton for it.

Yes I have had better. This is a review of the Leicester location
Positives:
1. Gluten free pizza: For us that’s a big deal and they have it and consistently get it right. It’s not wonderful but good luck finding it anywhere else at a local pizza place.
2. Location: This is really close to the center of town and is pretty easy to get in and out of. Down the street is a Walmart, other direction banks, laundry. So you can order and get a few things done pretty close by.
3. Open: They have a decent sized dining area for a pizza joint. The key here is it’s separate from the front entrance so you don’t have a lot of foot traffic in and out. A lot of pizza places the seats line the foot path from the door to the counter
Negatives:
1. The staff: I have been to this place probably 10 times total. I’ve never had anyone smile at me. Now maybe I am a mug, I don’t know. Often not a thank you, but the attitude, when it’s busy forget it. It’s almost as if you are hassling them. Never mind they have 10 people working in the back, you’re the bother.
2. Cleanliness: Ya… So the place isn’t super clean, not the end of the world but many times the person taking my money is wiping their nose, touching tickets and handling food. It’s not every time, but you look at the T shirts, stains. You look at the hands, I don’t see gloves, and a few of the people smell like cigarettes. Now I am not anti-​smoking, but the smell = dirty to me.
3. Pizza and Subs: Nothing special. Really there is no reason to go here. There is no must have specialty pizza you can’t get anywhere else. The quality is meh, the quantity, meh, the price, meh. I mean if it were great I could get past the shitty attitude, but there is nothing here besides the gluten free pizza that is WOW. If they didn’t have gluten free we wouldn’t go.
Conclusion: Why would you want to go somewhere for food where the people preparing it don’t appear to want you to be there? I simply can’t get past this simple question. I suppose if the food were remarkable then ya you would go. North east pizza in Leicester isn’t remarkable at all. It’s your cookie cutter pizza joint with unfriendly people. It gets 2 stars because it’s easy to get too and has gluten free. It’s likely you aren’t gluten free, so unless you live in Leicester there is no reason to go here, even then you can do better elsewhere. At least elsewhere they smile at you and as you hand them your money they say «thank you»

Has gone downhill. Delivery never gets it right. Do not order from here of you want your order made correctly. Just order somewhere else. Uncle Sam’s is just as terrible with their customer service as well. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This review is for the auburn location. Sub-​par food at best and that’s being generous. The crust has an almost rubbery texture which was very unpleasant. The service tho was horrible. I cannot believe how terribly rude and unprofessional they were, words cannot describe it. And that is the reason I will never go back here and why I gave them one star.

Re-​thinking Northeast as our go-​to pizza joint. Our large pizza last night was only 14″ not 16″ as other places are and as Northeast advertises their pizzas are (we noticed because the pie did not nearly fill up the take-​out box as usual and was really sliding around. After noticing that I just had to measure it). Are they taking the corporate route and screwing the public by decreasing the size and charging more? One of the toppings, fried eggplant, was burnt as well and made the whole pie taste somewhat bitter. Here we come, Uncle Sam’s.

So happy I live right down the road from such a great place. Best BBQ pizza around! Prices are good and the staff is always friendly and smiling.

Lots of pizza places around. This is our go to place. The BBQ chicken pizza is so addicting… Packed with so much flavor.yummy. The special is always great. 2 large cheese for $ 13. can’t go wrong. The pizza though taste better after it’s cold and retoasted in the oven. the crust gets extra crispy and crusty. also had the subs and the rolls are toasted crispy and perfect. the chicken parm sub is a must do. order out or eat in. theres plenty of tables and a tv in the dining area. clean and bright.

Ordered the special, meatball grinder LARGE it had 2 meatballs cut in ½ for the large REALLY! The 2 meatballs should have been a small. If I wanted all bread and not meat I would have gone to Subway

Stopped in yesterday on my way out west for a steak sub to eat on the road. Sandwich was served promptly. Plenty of steak and very fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient
