Awesome authentic Cuban sandwiches and café con leche. Food is delicious and portions are generous. A bargain for the price. You won’t leave hungry for sure! Staff is friendly. Yes, it is just a little shop in a strip mall, but well worth a visit. Now called Melody’s Cuban Café. Also serves a big menu of breakfast items, meats and yuca.

Fantastic Cuban Food. Living in California it is extremely easy to find great hispanic food. However, when I visit my parents here in Lehigh there is only one place that I trust and that is this little cuban joint by 7⁄11. I honestly didn’t know the name until I looked it up on Unilocal to review it. The other reviewer was clearly not looking for authentic cuban food, fair enough. The place is not kitschy, it is not overstated, it is a hole in the wall. I love places like this. Great food. Absolutely fantastic plantains, great beans and rice. My parents get the shredded pork and absolutely love it. I eat here almost every day that I am in town. Have some cuban coffee while you wait. If you want a corporate dining experience, super attentive servers, skip this place. If you want great cuban food, this is the best place in Lehigh by far.

I thought I was going to a German restaurant, but it wasn’t there any more, so I ended up here. Clearly a mom & pop joint, they seem to specialize in take-out orders and it’s just as well considering the dingy interior. For dinner, first they brought me toasted bread, which was fine, then my meal of pork chops, rice, sweet plantains, and beans(mostly liquid) in a bowl. It was all quite tasty, although the tough pork definitely requires a serrated knife, which was provided. I’d really like to give this place 3 stars, but it really just doesn’t quite cut it.
