Prices are extremely reasonable, staff are friendly, chicken is great, and the pupusas are delicious! For the price, the portion sizes are generous!

Food is pretty good but the service is horrible but I think it also depends on who is at the front taking orders. Usually latinas are friendly, since I am one but this girl was rude and even rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they could cook my corn tortillas longer since they were raw. They threw oil on them and fried the outside without cooking the inside. No biggie, I hope they hire women who make better tortillas. Its a waste of corn flour the way they are making them now.

Maybe the best roasted chicken I’ve ever had. Beans and rice were great too. This is my new chicken joint for sure. Rock solid.

One of our staple lunch locals. I would give them 4 stars due to limited English communication at times, but the food makes up for it every time. They make all of the food fresh and as fast as can be expected from cook to order. #28 chicken sandwich is an amazing deal and delicious. The ¼ chicken with two sides is a great deal and ample portion. Ask for extra sauce because it’s too good to not indulge!

A hole in the wall but food was good and fresh. Easter Sunday and not many options. It’s located on a strip mall. As soon as we parked and got out of the car we could smell that awesome rotisserie chicken. We ordered chicken, rice and yucca fries. Yellow and green sauce. I dint know what’s in that yellow sauce, but it’s heaven to anything specially the yucca fries. Nice light, crispy yucca fries. I love them! The green sauce is very spicy and I never use it. It was clean and food was awesome. If we are ever down that way, we would visit again

The food was excellent. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and the fried rice and corn only accentuated to chicken. The price was just right for the food.

I like their papas con salchicas, that dish is very tasty, love. Their cakes mm their other places I rather get it from. However they make good salvadorian sweet bread can’t complain. One thing I love about this place is that is next to The Dos Tequilas so I go eat their and then grab my sweet salvadorian bread. Yumm!!!

Everything I’ve ordered whether its from the bakery has been really good. I especially love their strawberry cake. The slices are just big enough that though decdant you don’t feel guilty. They have really good pound cake with different flavor swirls in it like strawberry and pineapple. Make sur eyou get a fresh slice its even better! Their food though its not the best peruvian i’ve ever had, is okay.

Pupusa is terrible. Chicken and sides are excellent. The staff is beyond rude. They also advertise that they deliver but i have never found a single time when they had someone there that could. I wish the staff was easier to deal with cause their chicken and green sauce is the bomb

Pretty solid place. I was a little worried when I went and there wasn’t any chickens roasting on the spit, and she threw the ones I ordered on the grill to warm them up… But it was actually right up there with most peruvian chicken i’ve had. Only complaint was that the saffron sauce for dipping(the yellow one) was mostly mayonnaise and a little too thick.

The restaurant is OK, nothing special. The main point I want to make is that it is more Salvadoran than Peruvian. The baked goods are Salvadoran, and my dish came with papusas. I’m not sure what style the chicken is, but calling it a Peruvian restaurant is a mis-categorization.

What a find! We happened to see this place as we were trying to escape Red Hot & Blue’s foul experience. Thank goodness, too! It’s a small place but MAN is their stuff good! I had the chicken burrito(#26) and it was HUGE. I had to bring the other half home in a box. The service was friendly and very fast. The burrito had black beans and rice and was just. REALLY good. The ladies at the counter were very polite about explaining what the pastries and cakes were. Someone had mentioned before that the staff here was rude but I think it’s one of those things where people are as polite as you treat them. They struggled a little with the English but kept trying and did it with a smile. We ended up getting a slice of 3 different kinds of the cakes and an almond round cookie sandwich thing with coconut around the edges(forgot the name). Now, after the really crappy experience at Mom’s Apple Pie bakery(ha!) in Leesburg, I was REALLY reluctant to get my hopes up, regardless of how good the stuff looked here. We took the chance and let me tell you. they were moist, the icing is amazing and some of them are made with 3 kinds of milk. It had fresh fruit and was very flavorful. Even if the food was bad, I’d go back for the bakery. Thankfully ALL the stuff was delicious. We’ll be going back next time we go through the area. You’ve GOT to give this place a try for the food, the bakery or both. I posted pictures, too. Thanks for such a great experience, PL&B!

Delicious chicken! Loved the spicy green sauce also. Substantial and basic. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

First time at Pollo Loco. Shared a Pollo Saltado & Lomo Saltodo. We both agreed that both were good, but the beef(lomo) was better. The rice & steak fries were good as well. The bakery looks incredible & the pastries we bought were very tasty. There are still quite a few items to try with quite a large variety, so we’ll be back.

My boyfriend’s friend recommended this restaurant to him. The food was really good, yucca crispy, pollo fresh and tasty but the best of all was my super hot Salteña. I actually ordered a beef salteña and I ended up getting the chicken one. Service was AWFUL not friendly staff. Bakery was ok. If I decide to go back will be just because the food is good.

Yum, some good stuff here. Have been a couple of times and they have some good Peruvian street-type food. The lomo saltado and pollo saltado are yummy, beef(lomo) or chicken(pollo) sautéed with lots of onions in sauce and served over a plate of steak fries. Not healthy but tasty, I thought the steak won out by a small margin. They have a full bakery too, I’ve tried some of their sweet breads and they are good, traditional latin style fare, really good when they are fresh. I tried one of the napoleons once and it was awful, super sweet whipped cream that tasted suspiciously like plastic, steer clear of these(though they are pretty.) Have also tried the corn cakes, essentially a thick corn tortilla stuffed with various ingredients(pork was good) and grilled, they are good too. Tried the quarter chicken platter and it was really tender and juicy with good sides, cheap too. They have refrigerated cases with bottled drinks available, including Mexican Coke.

I don’t think I’d take someone here to show off good cuisine in Leesburg, but it is definitely a good place to grab some chicken that you won’t regret in 30 minutes. Good value for the money. The interior is rather homely and the staff aren’t exactly excited to help you, but service was decently quick. We came at a slow time, so I’m not sure how it is during peak times. The star of the show is the chicken. If you get it hot off the grill, I’m willing to bet its amazing. What we got was warmed up chicken, which was still very delicious. Great flavor down to the bone and very generous pieces of chicken. My ½ chicken was almost too much. The rice and beans were probably some of the best I’ve had. Very flavorful and light, yet at the same time very filling. The bakery looks very interesting. I’ll definitely come back, its a great value and it’s much healthier than fast food chicken.

Pollo Loco & Bakery(not to be confused with the El Pollo Loco chain) is another excellent Peruvian chicken joint AND a full Latino bakery. I really liked this place. It’s not majorly different from the Peruvian chicken places in Sterling, quality-wise, but it does have the bakery and I believe it’s the only place of it’s kind in Leesburg. Give it a try — I recommend it!
