Got the cali burger. Avacados were hard. Rookie mistake. Meat was overcooked for my liking. Good sweet potato tots tho. Overall shoulda went to jonny rays down the street.

The restaurant was tucked away, making it difficult to find. Other than that, it was a great experience! As far as burgers go, they have some of the best! The skinny fries are also fabulous & and there are specials almost every night for $ 1.50 beers!

The bar top was dirty. Waitress placed menu over crumbs rather than wipe it off. The service was far from good. Fries were tasty, but there was nothing special about my chicken sandwich to make it worthy of being $ 8.

If you are looking for a good burger with a twist and you are also gluten intolerant this is a great place for that. They offer gluten free buns which I was hesitant to order but figured if it wasn’t good I could take the burger off the bun. However I was total delighted that it was very good. My burger was good and juicy and it was wonderful to find a place locally that could satisfy my burger on a bun longing. They also offer a gluten free flatbread that I want to try. We will go back… regardless of its odd location and rather funky décor.

I really wanted to like Bleu Burger, but color me deeply unimpressed. It looks like a place that can’t decide what it wants to be. There are elements of dive-y sports bar, local eating establishment and quirky hipster joint all going on at the same time in a confusing and somewhat hideous conglomeration.(I still can’t figure out what the randomly placed screens made out of doors were all about.) I went in at the tail end of lunch time(1:30 or so). I was the only customer in the place. A waitress seated me at a booth, then promptly disappeared. I looked over the menu, saw some interesting choices and decided on one. I was pleased to see roasted brussels sprouts offered as a side dish, so I chose those to accompany my Baja burger. The bartender took my order for some reason even though I knew there was at least one waitress on duty. It took a full 18 minutes to get the burger out to me. During that time, no fewer than 2 waitresses and 3 cooks emerged from the back to stand around the bar and bitch about their schedules. The bartender finally brought my burger and«roasted» sprouts. For a stuffed burger, it had no discernible stuffing. It also had exactly no seasoning or really any flavor at all, even the alleged tomato-basil bun. The burger was meh enough, but the real crime was what happened to those poor brussels sprouts. They were cooked to mush, partly burned and swimming in some sort of grease. Overall, the whole experience was pricey and gross. I’ll try Unk’s Burgers next time.

The atmosphere is really cool! Our server Cody was awesome! The only thing I didn’t like was the ketchup bottles. You can definitely tell they’re old and over used. Either the owner is too cheap to spend money on that, or he doesn’t really care about aesthetic. You have a good set up here. You can’t skip the little details, they add up!

I came here with my boyfriend on a Sunday evening around 6:30. The place was pretty empty, as was the strip mall that it is located in. The only real negative thing I can say about this place, is that the ambiance is very weird. I will agree with someone said that the restaurant seems like it can’t decide what kind of restaurant it wants to be. The open and emptiness of the place is just awkward, just like the random doors everywhere. The doors don’t really seem to fit in and I think it would be a lot cooler if they were all put together and nailed to a wall or something. Also, it feels very… small town bar-ish in here, which may be due to the floors, or patio, not sure. But basically I would describe it as a hick bar with hipster food. Speaking of food… ITWASAWESOME. I got the Buffalo Bleu«stuffed» Burger and the Skinny Fries. My boyfriend created his own Mac & Cheese with chicken, bacon, jalapeños, and spinach. My burger was pretty good! It was stuffed with blue cheese, buffalo sauce, and bacon. Veryyyyy tasty! I ordered it well done just because I thought it may not be cooked through with all the stuffin’. The pieces that didn’t have stuffed stuff in them weren’t all that flavorful, still good though! BUT the front runner was the FRIES! Wtf they were so good that I’m in disbelief still. They were SO good that we freaking demolished the ones that came with my burger… and order two more sides of fries. Yeah… that good. My boyfriend actually wanted buffalo chicken in his Mac and they put regular in. We ended up telling them at the end and they have us a discount card for our next visit. Our waitress was great! Overall, come here for some gooood food if you’re in the area!

Odd spot. The burgers are interesting. Some good combos, and some that don’t make sense. The Burgers are stuffed and take at least 20 – 25 min to come out. The Cali burger was«okay» but I didn’t get any tomato or basil from the described«tomato-basil» bun. The Western burger was better, but the jalapeños and onions stuffed inside were not cooked at all. Crunchy, hot and raw. We also tried the Buffalo Burger and it was fine but nothing outstanding. Tasted similar to other buffalo burgers out there(hot sauce and bleu cheese). The sides are good. Great herbed skinny fries and sweet potato tots. Oddly enough, the roasted Brussels sprouts are one of the best and most surprising things on this menu! The beer menu could be significantly better. Just standard PBR, Sam Adams and Boulevard. The staff seems very kind and attentive but the décor is awful. Super weird extreme-closeup veggie photos that don’t make ANY sense given the menu — paired with out-of-place hinged antique doors and Royal blue walls. It is like one large Pinterest Fail.

We went here a few months ago on a Friday evening and it wasn’t too busy. Service was great but the food was not great. I ordered the pulled pork bbq flat bread. It tasted like the pork at been pulled out of the microwave and slapped on a uncooked piece of flatbread. Didn’t even finish a whole piece. We also ordered one of the burgers, can’t remember which one, but it lacked any type of seasoning and flavor. Only good part of the meal was the beer we ordered. We will try somewhere else next time.

Best fries we’ve had in a long time. We both tried the bacon burger and it had a great flavor. We order the chicken tenders for our daughter and they were great too.

Such a delish burger! We had one of those fundraising cards that the schools sell with a BOGO burger on it. When we arrived and started looking at the menu, we were very surprised to see that all of their burgers are made to order AND are stuffed with ingredients!!! I ordered the California and it was so good! I added onion straws and took away the onion and pepper. No problems. I ordered sweet potato tots for my side and I was SO impressed!!! Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender diced sweet potato on the inside. Ambience was good. Seating felt more private with the décor choice of some freestanding décor doors, complete with hooks for jackets or bags. They seem to have some very good deals each evening. The night we visited, everything behind the bar was BOGO, and that was in addition to our BOGO Burger. We definitely be back!!!

Every time I’ve been here, it’s been great. Service is excellent, love the juicy stuffed burgers, brussel flat was fantastic. Black and Bleu Burger and the Buffalo Burger all really really excellent! This is my 3rd visit, and it keeps improving! Let’s not let a few bad review ruin our attendance to this awesome burger joint and fill the restaurant!

I really wanted to be impressed. Really. First off, I love hamburgers, even dressed up trying to be trendy ones. So when they opened we had to try it. Coming in the door it struck me as someplace that couldn’t figure out if it wanted to be a neighborhood bar, a sports bar, a family place or what. I couldn’t figure it our either. We were seated promptly and given menus. With a full bar I expected drink orders to be prompt but they weren’t. One more strike. Burgers were«pretty good» stuffed burgers(their own creations) with cheese and other«stuff» in the middle. Pretty good concept. But that means that they can only be prepared at «medium» temperature — hmmmmm. With all the TV’s I figured it would be a good place to watch the ballgame. And I would have too, if the manager hadn’t decided to block my view while he chatted with friends. I tried asking him to move but was ignored. Then I tried asking him if he could find our waitress so that we could get refills on our drinks. Said he’d get to it. Hmmmm. Prices were about what we expected and somewhere new that was trying to be trendy(and not really succeeding). It’s now a pleasure to drive past there on our way to Unk’s(about a mile away) for good service and great burgers.

I’ve been to Bleu Burger twice in the last few weeks. Fantastic burgers at reasonable prices. My complaint would be that it takes about a half hour to get your food. If you’re not in a hurry, this is a good place to check out. Good happy hour deals, but I pointed out that their scotch flights claim to serve a 12 year scotch from Dewar’s but they actually serve White Label, which is a 3 year old instead of Dewar’s 12 year. The bartender just shrugged.

I decided to try this place out on a Monday night to take advantage of the half price burger deal. I ordered the surf and turf burger with the sweet potato tots. The place was not very busy but it did take a very long time for us to get our food. The burger only had a couple of pieces of shrimp inside of it which was a little bit of a disappointment. The meat tasted fresh and was clearly grilled to order, but it did not have any seasoning. The skinny fries were better seasoned than the actual burger. The bun to Burger ratio was also a little high for my liking. Overall, not the best burger I’ve had by far. As with other reviewers, the layout and overall restaurant delivery is lackluster at best.

Great food(honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while), good WAITRESS, the rest was a trainwreck! Felt like I was participating in an episode of Bar Rescue… drunk, trashy gal at the bar, that I think might have been someone with the restaurant’s girlfriend, hollering at the a couple of the younger waitresses, while the bartender and some other worker, laughed and«participated» in the fun. Mean while our waitress was hustling around, keeping the beers full and getting the food out as fast as she could. Food took awhile, which was later blamed by someone(as they stopped by the table and apologized) for a bigger party… It’s a shame had such a wishy washy experience… do you trade good food for sh*tty atmosphere? I think I’ll just keep going to Konrads.

I wanted to like this place. There aren’t enough good burger joints in Lees Summit and the idea of a stuffed burger was pretty cool. However, I’m not sure how it can take 40 minutes to cook a stuffed burger when there are only three occupied tables in the place. I did overhear a waitress apologize to another table for everyone being new and the cooks were still learning the menu. The fries were excellent. I’m a picky fry person and not usually a fan of shoe string fries but these were delicious. Unfortunately that was the only thing good about the meal. The burgers were bland and dry and there wasn’t much«stuffing». But the fries were good. Unfortunately, I’m still looking for a great burger place near by.

Pretty damn good burgers. Buns are a little too big. I had to tear a lot of the bread out of the bun, but no big deal. Will be back. Update: I forgot to mention we had excellent service for our visit.

Do you ever struggle with do I go back for another try or not? So we have been wanting to try this place for a while. The photos of the burgers looked great, the idea sounds great, and I am always up for a new spot. The outdoor patio looked inviting as I head in. As I walk in the noise says maybe something isn’t right and I am not smelling burgers. The bar is sticky and empty places need to be cleaned up. It isn’t busy but the service and response isn’t quick. Behind the bar is the bartenders food where they eat between taking care of the customers. My burger is overcooked and it just misses the mark. If you are doing a bar with a «different» sort of bar food I think you have to knock it out of the park with what you do and this was way off target. Skinny fries were cold beer was not. Now I say all of this and look at the other reviews and think I will try again. If it is a hit the second time I will rewrite this. If not… well… everyone should get two chances.
