First let me say make reservations! We didn’t realize this and it was really crowded. Luckily they got us a table pretty quickly but others weren’t as lucky. The food was great. One of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had. The service was pretty slow but it’s understandable since it’s the week after Christmas. All the employees were really busy. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely come back again.

Very loud. It was busy and they were understaffed. Hopefully next time will be better.

This is one of our absolute favorite places to eat! Tons of charm and super friendly people! Great food and teas! The manager Rich is a super friendly person and great with kids! Our little ones were made to feel very welcome!

Decent sandwiches and baked goods but seriously lacking in customer engagement. With a new owner and management that actually cares about customers and engages with them, this place could become a real destination spot.

What happened to this place? When we left this time we were given a gift certificate because the meal we ordered was terrible. Barely cooked bacon, burned burger, undercooked and overlooked food. And we waited for the food for almost 40 minutes. Our server apologized and said they were so busy, hence the terrible food. We will not return. And the people who sat next to us probably will not return. They sent their food back before we did.

The vegetarian sandwich is everything you hoped a sandwich would be. Absolutely delicious. Only my second time there, so far staff has been pleasant. I had coffee with my sandwich(I wasn’t really awake yet and actually went for breakfast that we missed by two minutes), however, if you’re looking for a tea suggestion the pineapple white tea + jasmine was really darned good. I ended up finishing my mothers. I really wish I could sip some of it now as I’m sitting at home writing this review. Haha Love & light!

LOVE the Lederach Tea Room! It’s so cute and quaint, and everyone is so nice whenever I come in! Delicious teas, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, scones, and my favorite, cream puffs! The chef is very talented, they do catering as well and can make anything you want! Their lunch menu is also delicious! I hghly recommend the tea room for your next breakfust/brunch outing! They are BYOB so feel free to bring in some champagne to enjoy a mimosa with your meal :)

Quaint country style café with great tea. I visit about once a month and enjoy the scones, quiche, and pancakes on my menu rotation. Friendly, no-pressure staff make it a pleasant experience. You don’t feel rushed and when the weather is nice their outdoor patio is a perfect place to enjoy a meal with a friend.

Initially thought this place was a tea room but its actually more of a quaint breakfast spot. The food is plentiful and delicious!!! The tea and desert was ok. We showed up at 1 not realizing the place closes in the afternoon. Will be coming back for their awesome food!!!

Love this country gem. Menu is limited, but everything is great. Definitely stop by at least once and give it a shot. I’ve never had a bad experience.

I wish I had a chance to have the breakfast food, we entered the Tea Room at 11:08AM. We asked if we could have a table by the window,(there were 3 open), we were told that someone had a reservation for the table. We then sat and found out they only serve breakfast until 11AM on Saturdays, but all day Sunday. If you are only open for breakfast and lunch as a restaurant, you should serve Breakfast all day on weekends. Like the other negative review, this has nothing to do with the food, the service and hospitality lacks dramatically here. I really wanted to like this charming place. Maybe the owners should wake up and realize the impression their staff makes on first time customers. I will not return.

We so want this place to be good. The atmosphere is quaint, for the most part the food is delicious, and it’s the only place for miles like it. Unfortunately every time we come we leave saying«never again!» One time we managed to have a good experience with the waitress that unfortunately duped us into returning. After our mothers day experience where they took an hour after ordering to deliver our food and ended up having to leave, we should have known better. This most recent time a spider appeared in our coffee. The waitress took it away in something of a huff as if it was a hassle for us to desire a new cup. No apology was made. She then proceeded to argue with us over the bill for five minutes in a raised voice. We’d like to think this was just a bad day, but we’ve had Judi before. Unfortunately it’s not only her. Surely, Lederach, in this job economy you can afford to hire people that won’t start your customer’s mornings with frustration and fights. We would love to love you, but for now we’ll stick to the other side of town

The wife and I like to stop in here every so often for either breakfast or lunch. The place tends to get busy, so we make reservations to ensure seating. It’s a cute little place with lots of tables packed in there, so it does tend to get noisy. We could certainly bring our kids here and I wouldn’t worry about other patrons staring at them for the noise my boys would likely be making. In some ways this place feels more like a restaurant than a tea room. You will easily see equal amounts of men as women here. Food has always been delicious with good sized portions. Prices are reasonable. My wife loves their quiches and crème puffs. Scones are also very good. Service is usually pretty quick and friendly. We’ll be back!

My favorite local secret for an always delectable brunch or lunch. The Tea Room is nestled in the quaint country corner of Lederach. Daily specials always changing,(including fresh quiche = bonus!), fun décor with mis-matched silver, tea cups & doilies, and great outside seating! The menu is anything but ordinary, and the staff is always pleasant. Escape the diner, head for the Tea Room!

It took me 28 years of life and a job out in the ‘burbs to finally find what I wanted in a cup of coffee at a breakfast place — I wanted a cup of coffee that I could start drinking immediately after adding my sugar and cream. For years, I stuck to iced coffee beverages. I did not do this because I really liked cold coffee. I did this as a preventative measure to counteract my inherent desire to consume quickly and burn myself on a hot drink. I loathe it when restaurants serve coffee so hot that I might as well be cooking raw meats in it. My first sip of coffee at Lederach Tea room was impressive. I took the sip less than 20 seconds after it was placed on the table. I did not burn myself. Wonderful! The coffee temperature may not be a terribly huge deal, but it is one of those little touches that I love. I’ve only been here for breakfast and it is pretty solid all around. The egg/cheese/ham on a croissant sandwich for breakfast is a winner(protip: have them add grilled onions to this for maximum effect). The building is quaint and the staff is friendly. On the action-movie-parallel-satisfaction-scale, this establishment is just under The Fifth Element.

From the idyllic setting to the food, this spot is genuine. Coincidentally, it was National Iced Tea Day when we lunched here, so we had cool, tall glasses of the stuff, just what the weather ordered. A cute, charming waitress kept our glasses full. Try their warm, grilled reuben($ 8.25), corned beef and Swiss on sauerkraut, with russian dressing on crunchy rye bread, plus a side of crispy chips. Hungry yet?

Having the Tea Room only about a mile from our house we find ourselves here quite often. We’ve had breakfast and lunch items, but have not had dinner there yet. The breakfast items are delicious and they are usually running a special that is worth trying(i.e. pumpkin pancakes). The décor and quaint feel of the tea room is worth the trip alone. While it is a tea room, they also have good coffee. They also get all there eggs from a local farm and have many fresh baked deserts available. Their chicken salad on croissant sandwich is awesome. My wife and I usually end up spending $ 20 – 25 total on drinks, food, tax, and tip. For the quality of the food this is a bargain, considering if you were in the city you’d probably pay twice as much for food this good.

After an hour long drive full of winding roads, sunshine and monster ballads, I arrived at the Lederach Tea Room to attend my friends baby shower. It takes up the first floor of a huge storybook-like house with quaint, almost slightly Amish-looking decorations. There was a buffet set up and beyond that were multiple tables pushed together into long rows and huge windows that let the sun shine in. The food was pretty spectacular, a huge salad… I have to say trough, with a MOUNTAIN of toppings to choose from: zucchini, mushrooms, peppers… you get the idea, plus pre-made sandwiches, meat and veggie and(my personal favorite) an entire platter of pastries… yum. The staff was extremely attentive, always keeping our drinks filled and maintaining their calm through about 40 ooohhhh-ing and aaaaahhhh-ing girls and 45312485 piles of shredded wrapping and tissue paper. Overall, it was a really cute and sweet experience.
