Well, I have to amend my review because we had a lot of hassles with them. At the time we had the same insurance but all three of us got different bills. My son’s exam was covered except for a small co pay. My husband was told his was also the same small co-​pay but they tried to bill him for some sort of medical diagnosis which led to a back and forth with insurance. In the end, we did not owe anything extra. Beware (my story) if you have contact lenses and make sure you get the TRUE cost or you will wind up bilked. I found out later yearly exams were covered by our insurance but they (and other eye doctors on our plan) fail to follow the practices and will bill you extra. Know what your insurance covers!

The doctor here is perfectly fine. She is very nice, thorough, and does a good job. The staff are also friendly, but cannot handle the insurance information and billing. I was there for almost 2 hours and had my credit card charged 3 different times because they weren’t sure what to bill me, and ended up charging me over $ 50 more than expected. Be willing to wait there and call your insurance while you are there to verify. Also be prepared to pay copays that you thought would be covered because the doctor will make a «medical diagnosis» that will end up being billed when it should have been covered as a routine exam. Won’t be going back here in the future.
