Having been to multiple locations, I always know the subs are freshly made and tasty. It’s the customer service that is the result of this poor review. We recently signed up for their e-​mail list and received a e-​coupon for a buy one get one sub free. Upon bringing in the confirmation e-​mail to the store (on my phone), I was informed that it must be printed out in order to be valid. There were no exceptions. I find that to be a little bit 20th century. Especially if you are the ones who e-​mailed it to me in the first place!

We like Penn Station East coast Subs! Seriously the fries and malt vinegar are da bomb! yummy!
The sandwiches are pretty good… it’s better if you eat in when you can — get them hot and fresh!
I got the Philly Cheesesteak and the boyfriend got the Chicken Cordon Blue. The sandwiches were prepared correctly and were pipping hot. I will say it seemed like they were lacking a little bit of meat this time.
The fries were screaming hot, prepared fresh right out of the fryer! ohhhh yeah!

If you don’t mind paying for a sandwich that is 98% bread and about 3 oz of ingredients, this is the place for you. Some of it is really good however, and the fries are excellent. I never really feel like I’m on the east coast when I’m there though. Prices are high, food is predictable, but a bit lacking in ingredients depending on what you get.
I had chicken parmesan today, a few hours later, my house smelled like farts.

Holy mayo explosion.
We came here for some quick food before a wedding so that our stomachs wouldn’t embarrass us during the ceremony. Upon getting out of the car, I smelled vomit. Not a good sign. When we walked in, there were no other customers and it smelled a little strange inside as well. I’m not going to say anything else concerning the clientele that ended up joining us in this dining experience other than the fact that they were quietly offensive.
The service was great and everyone was friendly, but both of the subs we got ended up being completely smothered in mayo. And when I say smothered, I mean it was slopping down the outside of the buns, onto our hands and finally plopping onto the wrapper beneath the sandwich with a slithery jiggle. Sick. I love mayo, but wow… I understand the smell of the parking lot now.

The Italian special they have right now is good. It took awhile for take out and I think they messed up an order for a friend and I. They brought out one sandwich and did not have the other. The look on her face showed that she totally forgot about the other sandwich. The other sandwich was my friends and anyone could tell it was thrown together very quickly and rushed through the oven. It was not even toasted and looked a little mushy. I picked three stars because one sub was good and the other was just ok.
The fries are really good, and make sure to put some malt vinegar on them! Also the lemonade is amazing, I think it costs a little more but it is worth it.

The restaurant always looks clean, the subs fresh made, love the Philly cheese steak. The fries with malt vinegar are best eaten at the restaurant hot.
