Place is empty on Saturday afternoon. A tad unusual. First thing, salsa and chips. Salsa is not too good, very runny. Had better. This is part 1 of 2 reviews. 2nd review: the meal was good. The tacos were good, refrained beans and rice homemade.

Second experience was much better. This time I sat down to eat. I had the Alambre. The spices matched the authenticity and the portion was good. I was served 4 corn tortillas, which was enough. I do like the green salsa although I prefer it hotter. I still think that the price is a little high for it not being a restaurant but I understand and there are very few choices. I will return again.

Authentic. I mean actually authentic. I lived in Guadalajara for the better part of four years and this is the only place I’ve found within 100 miles that comes close to my old, favorite Mexican taquerias. The gringa is excellent, as are the tacos al pastor. I would recommend eating at the restaurant. It tastes better that way. Come here for Mexican food that is actually Mexican!

Food was good. Had the Tacos de pastor and it was delicious. Also tried the steak burrito diner and the chicken burrito. Both were great, chicken wasn’t over seasoned and felt very light, so did the steak. Staff was friendly and attentive. Still not the beat I’ve tried but in Lebanon it doesn’t get any better than this! Try it out, you won’t be disappointed

The atmosphere is a tad unusual. I believe it would be comparable to dining in a city corner store with Sombreros scattered about on prisoner garb orange-colored walls. However. Strangely enough, the décor and screaming wall color added to a true southern of the border atmosphere. And the food, oh my gosh, the food was absolutely awesome! The enchiladas with Verde sauce are fabulous and spicy which made them different than most Mexican places around here. My husband ordered the Tacos al Pastor and said they were the best Mexican food he’s had since moving to PA from Milwaukee. Don’t let the corner store ambience scare you. The food is well worth the stop.

Great food! Very friendly service. The place is probably better for take out than eat in. I wish they had a larger menu– maybe more dinners. The atmosphere is more like a pizza place, than a sit down resturant. But the quality of the food makes up for it. The guac is out of this world!

Food was excellente, nicely seasoned. The Gringa is very good. Very good service, good portion size. You have to know that the entrance is on the side of the building though as we went by it twice

Small place, big taste! One of my most favorite places to eat. The best by far for me, is a little something called The Gringa. A big olé quesadilla stuffed with pork(al pastor) topped with pico de gallo and served with sour cream and authentic salsa. I promise a plethora of more great food on the menu as well. Check it out! It doesn’t disappoint! :)
