The good: The service was excellent. The bad: The food. Our party of three ordered ravioli di carne, lemon crab linguini, and chicken fettuccini. We ordered calamari fritti as an appetizer. Everything appeared and tasted as though it came straight from a can or a box.(The exception was the wedge of lemon that came with the linguini. That *seemed* to be fresh.) The ugly: The bread and the prices. The bread was cold and soggy. We paid $ 114 — including tip and two glasses of house red — for a meal that would have been far below even the Olive Garden’s standards.

Bread and oil sooooo yummy and fancy. That wasn’t. The shrimp wrapped bacon was more than I could chew, yuck. How do you mess up seafood and bacon??? Chicken Parmesan was a terrible, cheap sauce and the cutlet was soggy yuck.

Great location, excellent service and delish food! TIP: make reservation AFTER tree lighting, you get to see the tree lighting, slip inside for dinner/drinks while everyone else is fleeing the city in one hot mess. Works perfectly to let the madness die down and then leave.

The stars are for the food, but our meals took way too long(without any notice of the wait). Especially with kids, it’s always helpful to have a heads up about delays in the kitchen, and a server who proactively gets the kids’ orders out first(which our server did after we asked).

My Mom and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner after splurging at the spa. It sounded promising when the hostess told me they had GLUTEN-FREE pasta. We wanted a safe place to eat because I have celiac. I’m not sure if the pasta got mixed up or what happened, but I’ve been sick since last night. The waitress said all of the sauces were gluten free and also told us a list of gluten free deserts. I always emphasize that I’m allergic just to help the cooks prepare a safe meal in the back. We had to go straight to the hotel room after dinner. After they got my moms order wrong I should have double checked. PROS: short wait time, wonderful environment, good presentation, timely service, comped one desert. CONS: Price, got sick, mixed up one order, unorganized at hostess stand.

Go here! We left Sulta Vita an over rated restauraunt of $ 14 pizza pita dough and mini kraft pepperoni as a meat platter for this restaurant of well garnished appetizers, bruschetta, olives. A much better value. You will never get a bad meal.

I can sit here and tell you all the small details however all I want you to know is that the lasagna is microwaved and not fresh and the pizza is made by a half baked stoner dude with no Italian roots! I would give this place a zero star if I could. Save your money the food is gross!

Great atmosphere but bland food. The lights and décor are lovely during the holidays, however we ordered the«top rated» dishes and they were all very tasteless and average. Overall it felt overrated

Could not be more pleased. We were in town for the nightly Christmas lighting on an extremely busy Saturday and needed a spot for a late lunch. We were a group of 5 and they were able to seat us right away, even without reservations at around 1.30pm. The bread was dangerous — sooooooo soooooo good and we had to be careful not to overfill before our entrees(roasted garlic focaccia I think and they also had a lovely olive oil and fresh herbs dip)! Our server was just fantastic, the restaurant was really full and she was obviously busy but still provided a wonderful experience. Her assistant server offered to re-fill the bread but we were concerned about filling up too quickly. She said she would bring a new round when our entrees arrived and she absolutely did; no need for reminders or anything. We were very impressed. We ordered a bottle of the house Prosecco which was delicious and well enjoyed by us all. Everyone on the table ordered something different: there were 3 pasta dishes, one grilled dish and my 9-yr old daughter had a pizza. We all enjoyed our meals immensely. We saved enough space for dessert and tried gelato, affogato, sorbet and my Mum had a glass of the house-made limoncello. Sounding like a broken record now, but we loved it. Long story short — very happy with our visit. Considering how busy Leavenworth was and the sheer volume of customers in the restaurant we felt the food was wonderful and the serving equally wonderful. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks for a fantastic meal!

Well, we just walked out for a few reasons: We were 6 and pretty much gave us a SMALL table for 5, which we ‘only were to have for one hour’ … When we asked if the service was going to be somewhat quick, we were told to just«relax and breathe»(?). When we arrived to the table, one of the chairs was full of food(it was dark, but so that’s probably why it was missed)… When we got the menus, there was no price in them: So nope!.. We left!

The atmosphere was very nice but the food was disappointing — I had the butternut squash ravioli — it had little butter sauce on it and ravioli were on the hard side. My daughter had the crab pasta with gluten free pasta — the crab was not very fresh and it cost an extra $ 5 for the gluten free pasta — there was no indication of the cost on the menu and the pasta itself was mediocre. Glad they have gluten free options but you can get 2 whole boxes of gluten free pasta for that price. Coffee was really bad — waitress said it was a special Italian roast — we sent it back and got tea! The best part of the restaurant is the service. We would not go back and can’t recommend it to others.

I would never need to visit this establishment again. It was incredibly dirty(bathroom, windows, dishes, floors– each disgusting in their own way). We had a grimy cup of crayons in the middle of our table even though there were no children in our party. They seated other patrons who came in after us before we were seated even though they did not have a reservation and they had the same number in their party. Lastly, while the bread they serve you is delicious, the rest of the food was not good and the potions were very small. The butternut squash ravioli boasts being homemade, but was dry, hard, and tasted/appeared to have been previously frozen, and not fresh. Pass for next time.

I came here with a group of friends for dinner and I’m glad we did. We originally tried to get into South but it was completely book so we were thankful to get it here on short notice. There’s a few things to know: 1) The selection is okay– mostly your predictable Italian dishes. 2) Prices are a little high for what they’re offering but it’s a tourist town so I’m chalking it up to that. 3) They are kid friendly– it’s a nicer restaurant but they were happily accommodating children around us and there are crayons at the table that you can draw all over, which my daughter would’ve loved. 4) Portions– Large! Share a meal with someone or be prepared to take home half unless you’re a lumberjack. 5) Taste– Great! My meal was delicious– spaghettini with prawns which were de-tailed, plenty of them and veggies that were perfectly cooked. Could’ve used a bit of red pepper for added flavor but otherwise really good Overall, I’d be back next time in town if I didn’t love trying new places.

I ordered the oven roasted chicken with vegetables. It was ok. I found the chicken pretty bland. Wish there was more flavor. It tasted like broil chicken and same with the vegetable. The Italian soda was pretty good. The place is not that busy and probably because people who come to Leavenworth are here to eat German food and not Italian food. Service was ok. Only issue was we had a hard time to get someone to come by to fill our glass with water and at the end my friend had to get up and ask for water in his glass. But what was interesting the place is pretty empty and how can the service be like that. Also their wifi internet don’t work. So don’t expect you will get free internet here. The complementary bread on the other hand was very delicious. You can tell it is freshly made. Would I come here again. Very likely not.

Service was very good. Food came fast and waiter was attentive. But the food has gone downhill. During this trip to Leavenworth we remembered how much we loved the place few years ago and decided to dine in. We ordered the calamari and it didn’t even look like what we ordered before! The sauce was too sweet, marinara was watery. We ordered 3 different entrees and all of them looked and tasted bad. One of the pasta dishes had peas on top which made it seem cheap for a $ 20 entrée. Oil that came with bread was cloudy in color… My ravioli tasted like one of those microwaveable frozen entrees. Sad to see this place turn into another overpriced low quality tourist trap. Super disappointed :(

One of the few places which has a good Italian food in Leavenworth. The décor is rather not Italian and looks cheap kinda not what you want when you come to a place like Leavenworth. The food tastes good, but not great. The complimentary bread and the shipping oil was the highlight.

Dinner was great! The restaurant is on the second and third floor of the building so be prepared for some stairs. The weather was 106* that day so the air conditioner was struggling to keep up. Other than it being hot in the restaurant, the food was fabulous and the staff was friendly. The bread and dipping oil was a nice side to snack on while we waited for our entrees. The house Merlot was very good as well. I chose the Oven Roasted Prawns. The dish came with 7 large grilled prawns on top of a healthy portion of roasted seasonal vegetables and a side of garlic mash potatoes. To die for. The portion was filling but not too much. I will definitely be back.

What can I say… We got there at about 4:30 on the Thursday afternoon so we could beat the dinner crowd. Well, that worked. we were the only ones there! I ordered the Filet mignon, at $ 34 it was not the most expensive dish on the menu. I ordered it Med. rare and that is what I got. This is a hard cut of meat to cook properly do to how thick it is. It came with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. Both were very good! The steak was so tender that it melted in my mouth, the sear on it was so good that there was not a drop of juice on the plate till I cut it open! This was worth every bit of the $ 34 it cost. I was there with my wife and my 14 year old daughter and we left with a $ 91 bill. It was worth every penny! The only reason it got 4 and not 5 stars is do to the fact that the wait staff stood in the doorway(across the room from us) looking out the window we were seated in-front of. They were talking and laughing. It almost felt like they were laughing at us.
