The mulled wine here is amazing. Summer poured our wine. She is super sweet, and so fun. We came here on a Monday, and got excellent service drinking excellent wine

Went in during our weekend visit to Oktoberfest in Leavenworth. They had a $ 10 tasting fee, waived if you purchased. We ended up with 4 bottles, 2 of the spiced and 2 of the Sangria. Both were very good tasting to bring home and enjoy at our leisure.

As a wine lover, I give this wine tasting room 4 starts for decent wine and a diversity of options. Not only do they have a few standard wines, they also have a bottled Sangria and a warm «holiday style» wine similar to a spicy cider or wassle. If you are with a group there is plenty of space to spread out and a diversity of drink types to have everyone find something they like, if not love.
This location also has a private room you can rent out. Looks like it would be great for small parties! And they don’t charge to reserve it!

Nice storefront on the lower level of the main street. The staff is very friendly and the 5-​dollar wine tasting is a pretty solid deal. I’m not a wine drinker by any stretch (I came with a group of friends that are) but the five that I sampled were pretty tasty. the Gluhwein which is a hot spiced wine was quite nice. I could imagine it’d be great on those very cold nights. I’d say Swakane is worth visiting.

Had lunch at the tasting room with friends. we had the creamy chicken salad sandwiches and salads. Yummy, everything very fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and good. I would recommend.

Such a positive atmosphere. Warm, quality service, really tasty glutwein! On Sunday morning, they even opened the doors to us prior to their opening time, making for a personal and touching last experience to the our weekend stay in Leavenworth. Wine tasting is a great value too!

Swakane is our go-​to spot for lunch every time we visit Leavenworth. Nice friendly staff, soothing ambience and great lunches from fresh ingredients. My fave is the French dip with salad, Kim loves the garlic chicken panini.
All their wines are good, but in winter try the gluhwein and in summer try their ice cold Sangria.

Go down the steps to Swakane Winery and you’ll know you’re in for a treat. The wine is great. The people are friendly, and the ambiance is fitting. You can do some wine tasting up at the counter or have a bite to eat with some Gluhwein (when in the holiday season) at one of the barrel tables in the open area. Whether you’re a seasoned wino or new to the wine tasting phenomena, you will be successful here. The wine pourers are knowledgeable and share their love for wine and the business with people who visit their tasting room. We came here twice in two days and if we had stayed here for a full week, I’m sure I would have been here more. Stop in and have a sip. You won’t regret it.
