Bella Terrazza Tasting Room

We loved the wine tasting here. Good selection of wines with a cozy setting. Service was super friendly.

Bella Terrazza is the real thing, a family run winery. The owner Bob plants the vines, harvests the grapes, and produces the wines. Every one of their wines is estate grown and lovingly produced by Bob. He has a variety of other folks (Alisa, Beth, and others) who staff the room when Bob is busy in the vineyard, and every one of them is personable and knows the story behind the wines. Beth also has a collection of items from chocolates to scarves to wine accessories which are available at great prices in the tasting room. Alisa works the vines and assists with the wines.
Our favorite wine was the Syrah, but the first vintage sold out in a matter of weeks. The Bella Rossa is a tasty red, and his dry whites are a refreshing change from the typically over-​sweet Rieslings and Gewürztraminers. If you happen to be visiting in the summer, he also has a tasting room in the middle of the vineyards just outside Wenatchee. A beautiful grassy lawn, bocci ball, and a great view of the vineyards and valley below.
Disclaimer — my wife Kim sometimes works at the neighboring Kestrel tasting room and occasionally volunteers helping Bob pour at Bella Terrazza, but she pours at those two because we love the wines, not the other way around!

While on a recent, impromptu visit to Leavenworth, we stopped by the Bella Terrazza Tasting Room. I’ve been to hundreds of tasting rooms, but wanted to mention briefly how nice this one was. Most pourers are by their nature outgoing people, but there was a difference here, the manager seemed sincere. He thoroughly described each wine and the winery without all the bubbly you normally get.
I thought it was worth the mention.
Oh, and the wines are good, too!
