This Christian store is a great place for gifts (new baby, baptisms, confirmations, etc.) and for gifts for the home (cross, small statues, necklaces, wall decorations and prayer items. It is especially great if you are looking for Catholic items (hard to find things). The staff is helpful, the store is very clean and laid out well. This is located near Luigis and parking is on the street or Haymarket Square.

I’ve been wanting to check out this store for awhile and finally got the chance to do so recently. Many of my son’s unique birth and baptism gifts from relatives were purchased at this charming boutique. Although Kansas City has several Christian book and gift stores, this is the only one I know of in Leavenworth. Even their name is special and describes it exactly: A Supply and Hardware store for the Soul. How clever!
I wish I could have had longer to browse, because I instantly fell in love with this well-​run store. It is set up as a stylish but very approachable boutique in a quaint vintage building in old downtown Leavenworth, KS. The store is decorated with a trendy old-​fashioned general or antique store vibe but with all items easily accessible and displayed attractively. I think it is a very innovative and interesting take on a more traditional type of store. It is definitely working for them, and their inventory is large but not overwhelming. The prices are very comparable to other stores of its kind. I also liked how many of the items were unique or locally sourced. They have beautiful jewelry and home decorations, but you can still find most any religious book or object you were searching for or needed. What they don’t have, they will be glad to order for you. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend this boutique to anyone in the market for a special gift or a particular religious book or item. Best of all, you will be supporting a local small business.
(Soul Supply and Hardware is a largely Catholic Book & Gift store with merchandise for all Christian faiths as well in my opinion.)
