Two words. Dive bar. Fun atmosphere if that’s what your looking for! Darts. Pool tables. And touch tunes. We had fun but not for everyone.

I have been debating giving this a two star review or a three star review. I decided to go with three. They got 3 stars because overall the drinks were pretty cheap and strong. It was a Friday night and service was ok. A little slow, but overall ok. The servers would often go and sit down with friends and talk for a while. I felt strange having to ask them for another drink.

Decent beers and friendly staff, but poor service. Took us 30 minutes to order food. Great place to watch Seahawks so at least that was good. Better service at bar than at the tables.

Only place in town to watch sporting events, but bartender was quite surley and snarky. Would have more stars without her.

The staff«tolerated» the 5 of us that we’re there at 4:00 on a Thursday afternoon, beginning the Labor Day weekend. Prices were on par with the rest of the bars in the town but no patio, worn furniture and poor service made it a one-drink stop for us. Leavenworth is a beautiful town with so much to offer and the Post Office is not on that list for me.

Bouncer is a punk. He wouldn’t let my friend in because the picture on his ID was blurry.

Only giving this 3 stars because it is a local semi-dive! But let me say, I love a good dive bar! I feel this place is a hidden gem when you’re tired of Brats and lederhosen. Good old fried bar food, strong drinks and a crappy jukebox. The best item on the menu by far are the deep fried pickle spears, just get them!

As we frequently«glamp»(camp in motorhomes) in nearby Plain, us girls like to go shopping while the boys go ride the trails. This past weekend, we stopped at the Post Office for lunch. Their menu boasts a typical array of fried bar food, sandwiches, salads and burgers. All four of us had the chef’s salad — crisp iceberg lettuce with REAL roast turkey, REAL roast ham, olives, cheese, green onions and croutons with your choice of dressing, topped off with a hard boiled egg. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the lack of meat on the salad. To me, that’s the star of a chef’s salad(besides the lettuce) and for the pricepoint(somewhere between $ 8-$ 9), I expected a little more. The redeeming part about the meat is that it was, at least, REAL in-house roasted meat. Bartender/server was awesome — super personality, attentive service. I look forward to going back and seeing what else there is on the menu that might spark my interest. Maybe it was just an off day for the salad toppings.

This was a fun little dive bar to hang out in before we went out to dinner. Staff was super friendly and fast, the drinks were cheap, and the sweet potato fries were perfect! We’ll be back :)

Second time, good service and very attentive staff at least when they are not slammed by the nightlife. Packed last night but service was still fast at the bar. Brat sliders and bacon burgers hit the spot but nothing out of the ordinary. Will be back.

Been our mainstay every year. River guides and locals default bar. Always the best show in town for so many years. M&PR whitewater descent team loves the PO. One of my best friends found his wife here. Mary Frances and Hymie have always been like family. .Thank you post office for all the memories. Best service ever.

This was the first place we came on our Oktoberfest trip(Friday before the festival started) and aside from the mustiness of the place(the old stale smell of cigarettes lingered), it was excellent. Definitely didn’t give off that«Leavenworth» feel, was more like a familiar ol’ dive bar. The food was good, I had a fried chicken sandwich and fries– Came back here a few times in the night and the place was packed. They have lots of TVs if you’re a sports fan, and pool tables and darts if you want to play a game. The owner, Mel, was really friendly and accommodating to us.

Mel and the rest of the staff are awesome. It was a really fun, cheap dive bar. The only problem for me is dive bar shouldn’t have to mean dirty bar. The carpet floors were sticky — literally — I could barely move my feet and the overwhelming smell of old beer was unappetizing. This is a place worth going to at the end of the night and when you’re already drunk not when you’re coherent enough to care about food or jukebox quality.

Oktoberfest and walked in and it was packed. We decided to leave before ordering a drink and after that the rest in my group was talking to the door man while I was at the end of the block. I walked back to see what the talk was about and he was accusing me of purposely bumbling him«body check» in his words. I didn’t and have no clue why he was accusing me so I walked away and really didn’t care. Then other friends arrived later and tried to get me back in but he wasn’t having it. Didn’t matter to me but still a weird experience. Dont think I will ever go back to a place with a door guy with that. Again, never got a drink…

We’ve been here a couple times and even though we are not locals we got great service both times(don’t remember the 1st bartenders name but most recently was Mary Francis). The food is good and priced well. We will definately be back.

Cheap drinks and a fun spot for karaōke! We came here and there were three bachelorette parties enjoying the bar atmosphere. It made for really fun singalongs and interesting photos. I ordered two gin and tonics and they were $ 4 each for a huge cup which was awesome!

This is a decent bar in Leavenworth. We were there on a weekday so the place was pretty dead. There’s a nice pool table area and juke box on the side so we played some music and shot some pool. I guess they have karaōke on some night but they didn’t have it the night we went… we eventually got bored and left.

This was one of the bars my friends and I checked out during our visit. This place was crowded. There’s karaōke and pool tables for entertainment. I wasn’t too crazy about this place because the people I met(out of towners) were rude to my group when we were playing a round of pool. When we got to the table, we asked the group sitting near it if we can use it(which they did). A few min later, two of the guys were interfering our game and trying to get us to finish quickly. I never experience that when playing pool at other bars but it was a big turn off. There’s really nothing special about the place and better bars to hang out at.

I came here for a bachelorette party. The person at the Solstice Spa and Inn recommended we stay in Leavenworth instead of going out to Chelan to play. It was probably a good idea that we did stay in Leavenworth because this place was like half a block to the Inn. We never made it to the Loft(which is where she recommended) because the bride to be ended her night a little earlier. I guess so did I. It turned out to be really fun because there were 3 other bachelorette parties and a bachelor party there. I remember one local sitting at the bar that wasn’t particularly nice but other than that everyone else there was extremely nice. I didn’t really have any drinks here at the post office but I saw in my previous friend’s post that when she came here they water down the shots for the tourist people. Karaōke was kind of fun and the person who manages it was really into the music however song selection/and process could have been a little better. Otherwise overall good experience and good location. I don’t think we would have wanted to walk more than half a block at the end of the night.
