Heidleburger is a nice place to stop after a weekend in the Enchantments. There was a bit of a wait but it’s expected on a nice weekend. I got my burger after about 20 minutes of ordering. The food was good and really hit the spot. The menu is plentiful if you aren’t in the mood for a burger, and the prices were on point. A cool novelty stop in Leavenworth.

Heidelburger is the bomb. Everyone who knows stops in there when they’re in der town. I live a 5 minute walk away and it’s hard not just defaulting there for lunch regularly. It isn’t healthy food, and it isn’t supposed to be. All the negative reviews involve wait times, which usually also involve a thousand tourists.

Don’t you just hate it when you are asked to tip at the time of ordering? I always feel like if I don’t tip, I’ll get poorer service or lower quality product. Tipping should be done after the service, never before. We were here on a Monday, arriving soon after the lunch rush. Our party ordered a German sausage, 4 burgers, fries and shrooms. We then gave them $ 5 tip at the time of ordering. It took them 45 minutes to complete our order. I want $ 4.75 of our tip back.

I have been going to this drive in for over 30 years with my family– Its the first place I tried a Chicken Teriyaki Burger. After driving down the pass we stopped for lunch, its the first place on your left when coming into Leavenworth– — Staff behind the counter was super friendly– Fast service– Ordered my favorite– The Chicken Teriyaki Burger– It was GREAT! Perfect just like I remember 5 years ago! Ordered a small fry which is pretty large with their yummy fry sauce– Mom ordered the Garden Burger– She really liked it as well, Glad that they are still there– They have a huge menu to please, my favorite place to stop for a quick bite when heading over Stevens Pass!

A standard hamburger joint. Didn’t read through all it’s menu but looked pretty extensive. I got a bacon cheese burger which costs 4.50 alone(I think) and curly fries, 2.50(?) –Price is ok. –Curly fries are curly fries, well fried, crunchy on the outside soft potato in the inside. –The burgers? Well if you want to support a local hamburger joint this would be a place. It’s like eating a McDonalds burger without supporting a corporation. Not gourmet but not a bad burger. McDonald-esque quality patty. 3 stars because it’s a standard burger place. No bad experiences, not gourmet(definitely not from scratch), decent time getting food ready out to me hot! Cute outside décor!
