Used to be Happy Valley, now called Johnnys Asian Cuisine. Best Asian food in the Valley. Period. There were four of us at lunch today, we ordered an appetizer, five entrees and rice. He brought out the Cashew Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Pork Fried Rice and Beef with Broccoli first and then the Sweet & Sour Chicken and Honey Prawns just a few minutes later. All cooked PERFECTLY and absolutely delicious! It amazes me that he is the ONLY person working there, he does everything and does it perfectly. We seriously were wondering how he could do so much so well and all by himself. I think he must be magic.

This was surprisingly some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. We walked around Leavenworth forever looking for decent vegetarian options. Then we found this place. Vegetarian or not, the food was freshly made and extremely delicious, the service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere humble yet relaxing. I wish this place was in Seattle — I’d be a regular. We had the garlic broccoli and the spicy fried tofu. Delicious!

Johhnys Asian, got takeout, he prepared it in only 15 minutes, and it was REALLY good! I was a little hesitant because it looked so slow in the place, but i wont hesitate in the future.

During Christmas this year, this was the only restaurant which was open till 9pm. Their vegetarian food is awesome, its basically Indo-Chinese. We ordered Fried Tofu and some veggie noodles which were damn tasty. None that I have eaten so far in P. F Chang, Panda Express or any other Chinese restraunt. Their rates are awesome, serving size is good, Johnny the owner is really friendly. I would say a must place for vegetarians.

I visited Leavenworth for Christmas and wanted to eat some Asian food since the town itself is a minority in Asian foods and people. I found this restaurant in a mall when I was talking through town. I took a chance with it and it did not disappoint one bit. Johnny is the restaurant owner and he is one of the most personable, caring, honest, and passionate people I have ever met. He immigrated from Vietnam and really cares about his customers. He even recommended me to another restaurant when his restaurant didn’t offer what I wanted. That is sincere care and honesty to your customers. The food is very savory and he really puts love into his cooking. I’ve had great conversations with Johnny and he is so great to talk with also. Great, lovable guy. I highly recommend you come to this restaurant. You won’t regret it!

This restaurant is now Johnny Asian Cuisine and is excellent. I asked for Phở and he made it! Johnny is from Vietnam and was the chef here until he bought the business in 2008 when the former owner retired. Very personable and hard working. You can find him open seven days a week from 11am until 9pm. Wow! He says he loves cooking and you can tell… Remember the name now is Johnny Asian Cusine! Don’t expect anything too fancy. Johnny is the chief cook and bottle washer and hires a waitress during the busy season. You can order food to go also, just call the number is 5095482230. You may just stumble upon this as you are walking about town. I hope you do! A casual/nice atmosphere where you can eat just before attending the Leavenworth Summer Theatre! I only gave this restaurant four stars just so I do not get everyone’s hopes up but for me it was a five star…

I wasn’t impressed as much as I thought I would be. I heard nothing but great things about this restaurant from friends, so my hubby MJ and I decided to finally go try it. We went during dinner time because they are open for lunch, than they are closed and then they re-open for dinner. I wish I remembered the times but I think I tried to forget this experience! During our arrival, we had awaken the entire staff of employees that were in the restaurant, they were all taking a mid afternoon nap. I’m totally not kidding either! The sign on the door said they were open and we were the first to arrive for the dinner, we waltzed in and it felt awkward… really awkward, but we decided to stay anyways. The food was OK, nothing to brag home about… customer service was OK also, I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon!

Family style chinese with Traditional menu. The Best Pork fried rice I have ever had. Nice big chunks of meat in it, a meal in itself. Family owned and opperated. Nothing better for miles around as far as chinese, wenatchee(30 min away) only has chinese buffets and makebelieve chinese american. for true chinese american, lots of meat and extra saucy-this place is a gem in a bavarian town. Maybe it’s all the german beer…
