I scored an overnight stay here at Adventure Inn and was very satisfied with our experience. The lack of a hotel lobby and desk didn’t bother us, easy check-​in and the website was updated, user-​friendly and clear. When I had to call they answered and were to the point and kind. He even gave our keys back after we ‘d checked out and remembered that we left our goodies in the fridge. Great place winter or summer! Def will stay again

We would have never found this place had we not visited Leavenworth during a chili tasting event. With all the snow and ice this was a bit of a challenge to find… but we found
was one of the select bars to have a great vegetarian chili. the «Dog Bowl». We went there the first time for my boyfriend to try it out and I just had water. I eventually asked for a taste myself. I liked it enough to come back later for a bowl myself! :) I am not sure that I would have eaten here otherwise, but I did like the chili and the server was kind and friendly. Did not try any drinks or anything. I would go back here though… they were going to have live music I saw and it looked like a chill place. As most bars this weekend. they were playing the playoff football on the tv as well. Thanks for having the veggie chili! I appreciated it! :)

Disappointing lunch for us the other day. If you’re in the mood for a very casual, no frills sports bar with lots of TVs, then this is a great place. It’s in the basement of a hotel and far away from anything else in town. Feels like a rec room. The brat I had, tho served fairly fast, was average. My friend who ordered a very simple salad — spinach, dressing, nuts — had to wait nearly 40 minutes. And when we asked about it, they didn’t seem to want to bother with it. No effort to speed it up or do something to make it better. When I commented through Square, no apologies, just questioning my check because it wasn’t on my receipt. We wish we explored a bit more around town — there were a lot, a lot nicer places. If you don’t come to Leavenworth often, skip this place and go somewhere else! The best things we had here were the cider and jello shots.

This was a quaint and quiet small hotel. We booked on a groupon. There was great communication, clean and spacious rooms. No problems, a comfortable bed and hot shower. If you are looking for a great affordable and convenient clean place, this is perfect! We had a blast here!

Hinterhof is always a stop for us. We love their outdoor seating area in the summer time for the kids and the pups. They have misters, ping pong and water dishes out during the summer! I have to say I do really like the big long wooden tables they have. Great for groups!
The dark cider I had there was out of this world. While my cold pitcher of amber was dark and sweet, I suggest checking their site for current offerings. I’d also check to see if there’s any big events in town, which can greatly diminish parking :)
I’ve been here twice now, and sat outside both times (both visits during summer months). but I do hear they have inside seating!

We enjoy going here each year. This year they ran out of our favorite beer Saturday night so Sunday when we went back we were a little disappointed. Last year I also remember the owners daughter being a little more friendlier but maybe she was just not in the mood. She was still nice to us. Thier bratwurst are lacking so unless you just really need one go somewhere else and get one. Also we had a offer for checking in on Unilocal for free peanuts but they couldn’t give them because they «ran out». So a little disappointed they didn’t offer some alternate offer for checking in on Unilocal.That offer will expire before we get back there next.

Reasonable beer selection and good prices plus the atmosphere is amazing! We actually stayed at the Adventure Inn (above the garden) and the whole experience was outstanding! Keep in mind, this is a small town but everything was well kept, everyone is friendly and the town is great!

food: burger. average. not the best. after a long day, any food wouldve tasted great. from the looks of the grill, it looked like packaged frozen patties from the store. ***2/​5
service: we were part a of a big tour and they prepped some of the food beforehand. we were served directly from the cooks. hard to say if this is how they regularly work since our event might change their routines a bit. the outdoor area is nice though. they have mist going around the outdoor area to cool off customers. it was nice at first, until you have food and youre trying to keep everything from getting wet. ***3/​5

Overall, a solid choice to enjoy a summer meal in Leavenworth. (I believe they have inside seating, but wasn’t able to find it – I doubt it’s really used much in the warmer months anyway). The food was well-​portioned and reasonably priced, especially for Leavenworth. There were beer pong and ping pong tables to keep us entertained. We even had live music on the Sunday evening we were there.
Protip: If you go on an adventure trip (inner tubing, paddleboarding, etc.) with the Leavenworth Outdoor Center next door, they will give you a token that gets you 20% off your meal here!
At time of writing, a Unilocal check-​in rewarded you with a free order of peanuts, a perfect accompaniment to our beers!

Seriously the best place to just hang out after playing in the river! Great beers… Great live music. Ping pong. Beer pong. Nachos, cheeseburgers and snacks — the perfect place to drink in the shade and have some fun!

Stopped by their outside beer garden area on a super hot day with the family. Good beer taplist, friendly staff, and a few games and activities for the kids. The cooling misters were a welcome sight as we were hoping to go inside (but indoors was closed that day). Didn’t order food but looked like basic pub food and snacks. Live music was playing on the small outdoor stage adding a fun atmosphere.

The food definitely is just your average frozen food cooked up. The service was top-​notch. We were looking for a place to watch the sounders game and they opened up the back of the bar for us. It was just the two of us watching the game a few couples that came and went. The service alone made it worth it. However the food was meh.

When you are in the mood for beer and cocktails, this family owned and operated beer house is a good place to visit. We were here during the off season, so it was very subdued. Local, and mega brews on tap. The food is basic out of the freezer bar grub. It has both a good sized indoor and outdoor seating area. The outside patio is setup like a beer garden with long picnic tables. This place is probably a lot of fun during the busy season. The owner came out and chatted with us while we were watching basketball on the tv behind the bar. A really cool, laid back place.
I was a little disappointed when my beer was served in a jelly jar, and our pretzel was microwaved, but after a few jars of the Radeberger hefeweizen it really didn’t matter. There was no shortage of tap beers, or canned and bottled beers.

My husband and I came in here during the Seahawk playoff game against Carolina because we were staying in town for a wedding that weekend. They had 10 TVs going but definitely not super comfortable to watch the game in and we got there about an hour early. My hubs got a giant beer which was only $ 10 so that was a plus. The food looked like your typically greasy bar food. We ended up leaving and going to a friends to watch the game and I am glad we did. The bar is downstairs and really sort of dark. Would be fun with a large group of friends but just for 2… meh. Might be back to this bar again in the future.

First of all, we tried to use the reservation feature off of Unilocal and it did not work. This could be due to it being the tree lighting ceremony weekend but still they should state that.
Second, this was the most inefficient place I have ever been. They had a line of about 15 – 20 both inside and outside and it took over an hour to get to order and our food. You would think a place that gets hit on these tourist weekend a would have an efficient system in place. Especially when all people are ordering are a bratwurst and a beer.
Finally, the beer was big and ok but the food was mediocre at best and lack of urgency as well as competence of the staff really left a poor taste, literally and figuratively, in my mouth about the whole experience.

We came to Der Hinderhauf to see Edmund Wayne play and decided to get dinner and drinks as well. The food was alright– what we expected from a bar, and their fries were really tasty. They had lots of options on tap and were more than happy to give you a sample of a beer before you made your choice, which was appreciated.
It appeared to be a more low key spot for locals– they have a shuffleboard board and ping pong table which makes for a good time.

I love Der Hinterhof! I’ve stayed here twice for Oktoberfest and also come up all the time in the summer for river floats, white water rafting, etc… Steve and the crew do their absolute best and always take care of you. This year for Oktoberfest they have fire pits with chairs all around them. Fantastic idea and I got to meet so many more people around the fire.
As always, look forward to coming back and seeing Steve and his fantastic crew.

This place is great! I went in winter so the outside was closed. The inside 8s decorated very well with large beer hall style tables. There are several side rooms and nooks with couches, a couple with TVs. Inside, they have darts, official beer pong, fooseball, ping pong, and the shortest shuffleboard I’ve ever seen.
It’s a lot of little touches that also make this place great: Coathooks are everywhere for. hanging coats. Trivial pursuit cards are at each table, drinks are served in various sized jars.
The beer is beer, and the food is delicious, especially the avocado burget.
