I am likely looking at this with a more critical eye than most since I used to be a theatre professional, but still found it an enjoyable evening. This is obviously a labor of love, and live theatre is a great thing. That being said, it would have been nice during blackouts if they’d been able to achieve true blackout, and the young actor who was making his first onstage experience spoke, he didn’t project very well and was a bit hard to hear at times in the loud environment that is a melodramatic production as well as during some of the more quiet moments onstage. As for the space itself — it’s nothing snazzy, but it’s a cute little stage and the ~45 person crowd enjoyed the show. Everyone who worked there/volunteers there was super nice, and they even had a hors d’œuvre and dessert buffet that my friend enjoyed. This place is also VERY family friendly — kids, adults, and even some grandparents and grandkids were there. Will I rush back? Nope, it’s too far to drive all the time. Will I go back at some point? Sure, it was fun!

This is a great little theatre in Leander. Went to see the Wrong Window production, and was very impressed. It was funny and entertaining.
