Alan and his team were very helpful in assessing the best solution for my home. I thought that installing a ductless split system would be optimal, due to my subpar duct and vent setup, but Colley Co was able to do enough duct and vent improvements/​expansions, quickly and at reasonable cost, to «save» my nice upstairs ducted system. They also did a great job insulating my attic — passed Austin Energy inspection on the 1^st try — and relocating my condensers from the side yard to the backyard.
The new 3-​ton Daikin recommended by Alan for our downstairs has worked great so far — much quieter and cooler than our old system. Alan is highly responsive, both by phone and email, which is not always common in this industry. He and his team address any concerns or criticisms immediately and thoroughly.

I recently had weatherization and AC/​Blower/​Furnace replacement with Alan Colley at Colley Co. He was highly recommended by an established contractor in Austin who I met through my work. I originally contacted him when I bought a new house and needed a 2^nd opinion on the condition of the AC reported by the home inspector — he replied by email promptly and addressed my concerns. Additionally, he recommended considering Austin Energy Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Rebate that offered a payback on increasing the AC efficiency and addressing a poorly insulated attic. The investment will breakeven in 2 years and we plan on staying much longer.
I contacted him after having moved in and started the process — it was very much automated as he’s been with the program since its inception. He suggested 3 scenarios/​appliance options and provided a detailed bid including all 3. He walked me through the technical details/​differences and payback timeline for each. His team was very professional and had the entire process completed within a week from acceptance of bid including installation, weatherization, Rebate application completion/​approval/​finalization with Austin Energy. The final inspection by Austin Energy was today and I should be expecting my rebate in the mail in 2 weeks.
