I dropped off an item that needed altered and pressed. I confirmed with the young man working that it could be done. He assured me it would, even telling me he would leave a note for the boss about the urgency leaving me to believe they did alterations in house.(as if she would do the alterations that day and send it to be cleaned) You can see where this is going right? I come back on the appointed date and time… nothing in the system??? What??? Oh yes my name is in their but nothing was checked in??? Ok now I’m worried. I have a military ball I need that for. I dealt with Lucy this time, I explained the situation, she was great. Said she would look so I ran an errand and came back. She was on the phone with the owner when I got back to see what she could do. She explained that at this point the best they could do was dry clean it and have ready for the next day. She gave me the card to «Best tailors» as someone who could do it quickly. I called and they agreed to do it while I waited so I went there. Lucky genuinely tried to do everything she could. She said they would still dry clean it. She gave me a bag for 24 drop off and said it would be ready the next evening. That being said, I’m upset I was told the wrong thing and that my clothes were just sitting in a corner. On the bright side, Lucy and the owner helped once they found out. I will be going back to see how they do in the future

This place is the worst!!! and the«manager» name Ester is the example of how NOT to give serves!!! I tried this place a year ago and the first time they lost 4 of my items. She was giving me a different story about it every time I came to check and was very defensive and not even ones took responsibility about what happens. I asked her to remove my details from the system since I’m not about to be there costumer. Last month I found that I have charges on my credit card from Pilgrim Cleaners! I called them and again this Ester… Firs she said no way, but I insisted… Then she discovered that my credit card is under a different costumer!!! She had no explanation of how did it happens or way they still have my credit card on there system and during this time again she was very defensive and NOT apologizing even ones!!! finely she assure me that she is going to refund the money… well…She refund me small amount of the money. This time I went over with all the Visa statements to get my money back. Again she was attacking saying that she refund the all amount, that I need to go to Visa(her words…) and demand the money from them and that she is not responsible for that. I was trying to tell her that she is the one that need to talk to Visa and check where is the refund but she basically was blaming every one(including me…) but herself!!! I realized that there is no one to talk to over there so I left and wrote an e-mail to Pilgrim costumer service. They didn’t return to me but she called me and said that she found a way to give me the money… again she expected me to be grateful for finely getting MY money back after canceling my credit card, spending lots of time over the phone and over there and NOT even one time — I’m sorry… this is my mistake… This case is an excellent example of how not to provide service to customers!!! DON’T EVERGOTHERE!!!

This place is great. I go out of my way for it. The lady that runs it is always nice and helpful. She does all of my work and if she cant do it, she points me in the right direction.

I picked up my jeans yesterday from this place and both pairs were ruined. I had taken them there for alterations as they were both too long. The lady behind the counter promised that both would have the original hem put back on. Not only was the original hem not on either pair but the lady was not willing to reimburse me for the jeans and they were very expensive! I would not recommend this place to anyone.
