Kroger

This Kroger is kept clean and the staff are always nice and helpful. It’s also opened to convenient hours. The produce section is huge and it’s well organized. I like this location.

This place still in dire need of adult-​supervision.
Twice in 2-​mos., produce-​dudes place incorrect bands
on «Romaine Lettuce» bunches .so that cashier rings
it up at wrong price.
This time at over double correct price. … Is that fraud?

The store is organized a little odd, but the people there more than make up for it! Wonderful customer service!

My review is about an experience I had with the cashier. I was checking out, and there were two people in front of me. I wasn’t paying attention when all of a sudden I noticed the girl currently checking out leave in a huff. The cashier (older with a silver bob) then began to intensely trash the lady.
This went on for quite a while as there was still someone in front of me. She talked to both of us about the previous customer as she took her sweet time ringing up items. She said things like how miserable that person must be with her life, how she was such a nasty person. She got the checker next to us involved, recounting her story about what a terrible woman this was, about how she must not have a life. It was shocking. The woman in front of me was clearly uncomfortable and suggested that the checker forget about it but the checker said now way, she’d be thinking about it all night.
Finally it was my turn and I felt like she was waiting for me to comment so I suggested the woman not let it ruin her day. But the checker acted like that was the stupidest thing she’s ever heard, saying ‘she is probably reporting me to corporate right now!’ I didn’t know really what else to say, i was there during the ‘altercation’ and didn’t hear a thing. It wasn’t a loud fight, it just seemed like the customer had disagreed with the checker about something. Either way I don’t feel like talking bad about some other customer whom I have never seen before. I honestly didn’t have the energy. I just want to get my chicken nuggets and leave.
I’m leaving this review because it doesn’t matter what your job is, there needs to be some air of professionalism about it. Meaning as a checker you don’t need to be loudly trash talking customers to other customers. Grow up.

This is kind of my go to store since it’s close to the house. They have recently done some remodeling and rearranging. I can generally get everything I need right here for dinners. They have a good vegetable selection, a nice deli, a sushi dept., a nice meat and seafood department, a nice selection of wines and beer. We usually get most of our canned goods here as well as spices and weekly needs like bread, sugar, and milk. I have had some issues in the past with chicken we bought. We brought home a package of thigh meat and it had a bad smell to it!!! We took it back and they did make good on it but, it has happened to us one more time!!! (Chicken again) Not sure what is going on there but, it kind of has us on guard now! Other than that the store employees are always real helpful when I’m trying to find something! It’s nothing that will keep me from going back to get items I need. They try to do a good job and the right thing! I can respect that, that’s why they keep my business!

Decent neighborhood store which I always find great manager special in the a.m. This location has a gas station as well. I love using my points for getting gas. I been shopping here for a couple of years & management is nice & always trying their best getting you checked out quick. The store has recently been remodeled which is a plus. The florist, bakery, meat department & pharmacy is smaller than some other locations but, always stocked well.

They’ve newly remodeled and updated this store. And the timing couldn’t have been better since HEB opened a new store pretty close by. I shop here because it is closest to my house. However, I’ve recently had issues with items in stock past their expiration date and have bought meat that was no longer any good. Sadly, if this keeps up, I’ll be heading over to the competitors.

I walk in and find $ 1 flowers right next to the door… what a great feeling!
After some exploration I find out that almost all of their prices are lower than the Randalls down the street. I’m a fan!
