This small produce market has big plans. They’ve been open about a month. They plan to have medicinal teas and juices. But right now they just have a small selection of fruits and vegetables. Some of their prices are great — I got five oranges for a dollar and they appear to be some kind of navel orange. Large limes were 4/$ 1; a very good price and I picked up a couple. The sales gal — apparently the daughter of the owner, who looked maybe 14, was anxious to be helpful. She quoted me the prices and told me that if there was any fruit or vegetable that I wanted, they could do special orders. No problem! This was very nice, but none of the produce — NONEOFIT — was labeled or priced or stickered. Mixed in with the 5⁄1 $ oranges were some larger navels. «These too?» I asked. «No, those are $ 1 each.» Everything looked fresh. I really wanted to give this outfit 3-stars because the ladies were pretty and very nice to me. But they just aren’t ready for prime time. Maybe in a few months they’ll get in the teas, the juices, and hit their stride with the produce. I look forward to checking back in.
