DONOTLIVEHEREUNLESS… you like to see trash piled by the dumpster at the entrance when you pay for«valet» trash service($ 25/month) for nightly pickup at your door(it’s not optional), you want maintenance to enter your apartment while you’re not there against your instructions that you MUST be present, if you want neighbors that DON’T pickup their dog waste, a dog run with a broken fence for 6 months with no repair and no plans to repair, if you want to call and/or email the office a minimum of three times for any issue, if you want a front gate that breaks and refuses entrance during non-business hours at least once a week, and lastly, if you want to wait over a month for the return of your deposit that you will have to pickup at their office because they made excuses and didn’t approve it until you complained enough, no, they won’t mail it to the forwarding address you leave with them… never got a good reason on that. Rie, the manager, is completely non-responsive and is always on conference calls when you call multiple times. She will not call back no matter how many emails or messages you leave for her. Edgar seems to want to help but I started catching him in lies when it came to returning my deposit, he told me I’d have it in 3 weeks since it had to come from Canada, then if I didn’t get it in a week they’d cancel the check and resend, then I didn’t have it because he was disputing with home office regarding my pet deposit… then it was miraculously approved when I started calling twice a day. Don’t rent from Venterra, their parent company, not worth the headache unless it’s all that is available. All true accounts that happened while I lived in this complex from Aug 2014 — May 2015.

My husband and I moved here around December of last year and have had THEBEST experience with this apartment complex. It is a very clean complex; it’s gated, beautifully landscaped, wonderful clean pools and grilling areas, an awesome updated gym and its on a Golf Course! The management and staff is terrific; we only ever had one issue for maintenance and it was handled that day within the hour, very quick and clean and courteous. The management and office staff is friendly and helpful. LOVE Jessica and Edgar, they always greet with smiles and help with whatever is needed or just to give a friendly hello and see how your day is going. VERY sweet people. The apartments themselves are amazing. I live on the 3rd story and have an apartment that has no neighbors to the left or right, VERY quiet and peaceful. Stairwells are open and have plenty of room to move in furniture. The fireplace in our apartment is amazing, it is beautifully decorated with an arched opening above and a great mantle. I have the updated apartment with Granite Counter tops, new fixtures and all of them come with beautiful high ceilings and crown molding. I could go on and on about these apartments because I have lived in approx. 5 others before this place from California to Texas and this by far has been the best experience in all areas; Management, Customer Service, Complex and actual Apartments. Best of all for the quality you get, they have the BEST prices around! I would live in these apartments forever if I wanted to but my husband and I just purchased our first home, be sure to check out my apartment when it goes to an open position around July 6th. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Fairways of South Shore Harbor for everything!

The apartments at the Fairways at South Shore deserve a 5-star rating, but it is the onsite staff that brings my review down to a 1 Star. I lived in these apartments for 2 years and I would have stayed much longer if it weren’t for Monica. Monica works in the front office. She is rude, unproffessional, and will continue to drive business away. I expressed these feelings to the new management(BH Management) before I left. Hopefully they will make a change in staff and make Fairways a 5-star complex.
