Tasty tucked away pizza joint, but WAY too pricey for its own good. There are unique flavor combos and a great menu, but I’m pretty sure this place would do better with the hipsters in the avenues than with families in Layton. With a family of 7 it’s just not a place we will frequent, and because there are tastier pizza places for the price we will not likely be going there again.

Breadsticks are great. The pizza is not that good in my opinion it is similar to papa johns. Which I think has to much bread and not enough toppings. At least papa johns gives you dipping sauce for all the left over crust. If they had a thin crust this review might be different.

Honestly I was disappointed with Salt City Pizza Co. I recently moved to Layton and was hoping this place would be the one; the place I would go for when craving a pizza. It just didn’t happen though. Maybe if you’re looking for a less greasy pizza than most this will be good pizza to you, but when I want pizza this just isn’t what I’m looking for. It tasted a lot like simple homemade pizza crust. Therefore, the search continues to find my go-to-pizza place.

Teensy pizza pick up spot on Gentile in old part of Layton. No, you can’t sit down here, but If you want your wishes fulfilled when it comes to breadsticks, go here. Packed with melty cheese and the bread flavored wonderfully, you may become a bit of an addict. It was soo good, a few days later I wanted more and searched for another Salt City in my area, but noo, only in Layton. this place is near my office in Layton, so that’s how I happened to know about it, the other folks in the office were indulging and gave me one. Oh dear. No, I haven’t tried the pizza, the salad I had was nothing to get excited about, but its all about the BREad sticks, for me.
