Get the breadsticks!!! All portions are huge, so expect leftovers. My husband and I ordered a medium, thinking we would just have a couple of slices left for lunch the next day, and it could’ve fed 4 – 6 people after those gigantic breadsticks. We live in Oklahoma, and I would drive 20 hours to go back there again!

Excellent food, very generous portions… if they can get your order right. Probably the best spaghetti I’ve ever eaten, but all good things come at a price. The service is horrendous. We have solicited this restaurant 3 – 4 times (for carry-​out) and every time they miss something on the order. When we call to get it fixed, we’re placed on hold so whoever answers the phone can get permission to fix it. Then we’re informed it will be another wait while they re-​prepare the food that should have been on the order originally. No apologies, just dissappointing service. So instead of enjoying our warm, fresh spaghetti, we’ll enjoy it reheated in a while when they complete the order.

I just got home from picking up a pizza and had to come home and put it in the oven because the cheese is barely melted. It would have been nice it they would have baked it completely!!!

Everything here is delicious. The small dining room adds to the charm. The food is worth the wait. The prices are reasonable. You’ll kick Olive Garden to the curb after eating here. The service is friendly. You won’t be disappointed

I went here for the first time for lunch. The pizza I received was huge but NOT good. I actually felt sick after eating. I won’t be going to this place again. At least if I do go I won’t be ordering pizza.

By far my favorite Italian place north of the SLC. So good, reminds me of all the little hole in the wall places on the east coast! Food is great, especially the tri-​tip special. Seriously a hidden gem in Layton that I hope stays hidden.

I have to admit I am guilty. Guilty of living in the Layton area over 10 years of my life and never checking this place out until last week. It’s one of those hole-​in-​the wall places that you might never guess would be so good, but you leave feeling like a fool!
I had a sub — The combo, which has so many incredible ingredients on it! Pepperoni, salami, ham, sausage, bell peppers, and onions with vinaigrette dressing! It’s just great! My wife had the shrimp scampi, which was equally delicious! Everything everyone else had looked great, and my wife and I cannot wait to come back to our new favorite restaurant in Layton!

Having lived in Napoli, Italy, it is one of my greatest pleasures to enjoy the food Gabor Brothers serve up on the table. The subs are one of the best I’ve had by far in this area. The Spaghetti Alla Carbonara is the closest to the authentic carbonara I remember from Naples. When it’s my turn to pick, «where shall we eat tonight?» I;m choosing Gabor Brothers.
Oh yea, there pizza is pretty dang good too. Thanks you guys. Love you.

If you are hungry, if you want something big, if you love Italian, if you crave big flavors… Gabor Brothers delivers. After about a dozen visits I happy to say this is one of my favorites in Layton.
The subs are fantastic, I prefer their zupa tuscana to Olive Garden, pasta and pizza are great. I have to share my meals here they are so large. They don’t cater to kids specifically but what kid doesn’t like pizza or spaghetti?
The seating inside is limited, but the atmosphere is tight knit and true to their vibe. I always plan on ordering to go.

Gabor brothers has never disappointed me. I love their pasta, calazones, subs and especially their bread sticks. If you come on a weekend be prepared to wait, but it is totally worth it. Whenever I am in the mood for great Italian or a huge sandwich with a beer Gabors is my first choice.

We often tease that the marinara sauce must have weed in it because it is addictive and you just want to keep eating it despite the fact that your buttons are bursting on your pants. Tee hee.
The Brothers Trio is the best way to sample the wonderful menu items and the chicken pasta rosa is delicious. The breadsticks are sinful but the only down side is how small the restaurant is so the wait is often long and the speed of service is lacking. But the food is so good it’s worth the wait.

I’ve never left a review but I had to for Gabor Brother’s!!! Best food I’ve had in at least 8 – 10 years!!! Small place so get there early but every minute you wait is worth it. Try the «Pasta Rosa»!! Nice people working and a great atmosphere. Ohh… THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE!!!

Cheese steak was on point! It was super yummy. Perfect balance of cheese, veggies and meat!
We read that the service was bad but the food was great so we got our food to go. When we called to place the order it was over an hour just for the food! I should say popular and so worth the wait!
It was so yummy! It is so much food that the hubby and I split the cheese steak and we are glad we did. The order was huge! we got the onion rings as a side but out of everything we ordered the did not include any of the dipping sauces. Even the salad dressing for the 4 salads ordered by everyone else. Kind of annoying. Back to the whole not good service thing.
We would for sure go back and order from them again if we were up in that neck of the woods.

Even with 3 ankle biters in tow, our server at Gabor Bros treated us like royalty! Throw in some delicious food and you’ve got yourself a stew!
Well, no, stew is not their thing, but come for some amazing pizza and salads, pasta and breadsticks.
I agree, not great for kids, not because of the vibe, but because of the space issues. Car seats and high chairs are really in the way.
