If I could give this place –5 stars, I would. Omg where to I begin! First the SMELL! I knew I should have turned around the minute I walked in. Definitely a sewage problem. There’s very minimal things to choose from. I could t l it had been sitting out because most of the stuff was settled and kind of gelatinous. The meat on the Mongolian grill was gray. I settled on some cucumbers and a sweet tea and the ticket for two of us was 26.70. Please never go here. Disgusting.

Ya know, there’s a limit to how seriously you can take something as simplistic as a Chinese buffet. So when I read the«raving» reviews from the acolytes of Lawton about this particular buffet, I immediately figured two things: 1.) This HAS to be the best Lawton has to offer. No real reason for me to tour all 20 miles of this podunk town playing detective to verify this. And. 2.) It’s only a Chinese buffet. How could you possibly go wrong? Well, to be fair… it IS a buffet; which inexorably means you will find items there you love and items there you’re not too crazy about. With that said, I will only cover the items I tried with my honest assessment, but only after giving my overall opinion of the place, which is this: I like the fact that the buffet itself was very clean. The layout is fine. The location is good. And there’s a reasonable selection of food and [marketable] sushi there. Unfortunately, I found the buffet selection to be somewhat limited. I was honestly expecting a larger pool to choose from. But as the old saying goes: «quality over quantity». Right? Onto the food I tried. I had some rendition of what I THINK was salt and pepper shrimp, it was delightful. The onion potatoes were exquisite! The chicken wings were delicious. The crab legs were decent enough for buffet standards; although my personal opinion is if you go to a place like this and rave about crab legs, you either haven’t had real ones before or you’re easy to please. Either way, it means you should get out more. But I digress. Sampled some of the fried shrimp; they were bland. I did not go back for seconds. Then I tried what appeared to be potato skins. Only they were filled with something that was reminiscent of either warm mayonnaise or day old ranch. In any case, it was absolutely dreadful! I don’t understand that combination of ingredients in potato skins at all. Clearly, it’s a recipe that needs abandoning ASAP! Prior to eating any main course items, I always start my Chinese buffet dining experience with egg drop soup. The soup was surprisingly divine! I would return just for that, actually. Overall, the dining experience was fine. I mean… it was a buffet. Not much else to say, really. Some items I would definitely feast on again. Others… I wouldn’t feed to my sworn enemy. I think next time, however, I will just pick up a few of my favorite items in a to-go box and keep on truckin’.

They have good Chinese food here. Buffet style. In the evening crab legs and boiled shrimp. The people are very efficient and nice. We enjoying going here when we can’t decide I. What to eat. My favorite is sushi. They have good sweet tea. You can get out of there without sells big your first born. Lol.

The layout of this buffet is nice. The facility seemed clean. We had excellent table service from our waitress. With that said, the sushi could have been fresher. The salmon was excellent. The buffet had a good variety of dishes. I would eat here again but steer clear of the rolls.

Great buffet to good to. All reviews we read were on point. Quality wasn’t a 5 star but better than a 3 star. Quantity was awesome enough to fill 6 hungry people and still have enough in the trays. Overall great experience

Best chinese buffet in Lawton. Always a nice variety, the sushi is ok and the mongolian grill allows you to build your own… which I never do anymore since their hot tables are always stocked with lots of beef, chicken, and shrimp dishes that are well seasoned and always hot. Dont forget to have some hot and sour soup while you’re there, it’s great!

For a quick kid friendly oriental buffet with lots of choices, you really cant ask for much more. Its probably not the most authentic and they dont keep the buffet stations stocked to the max, but the food is good and the cost is comparable. 4 stars.

Really good food everything you could want on thr buffet. Only problem is that it is a little pricey but I think the staff makes up for that. They are accomidating, pleasant, welcoming, they truly want you to enjoy your food and experiance. We have gone maybe 4 times over about 6 months and they already recognize us. They also serve alot of eldery and when I tell them to pay it forward to the next guest they do which I think is awesome!

Hong Kong is the BEST Chinese buffet in lawton by far. The food is very good. And depending on which time you go(lunch or dinner) the prices are good for what’s on the line. Sushi, crab legs, Mongolian grill, all that for a very exceptional price. The service is great! The servers, the host and the rest of the staff are very attentive and friendly. I eat here all the time, and never have they let me down, yes I’ve had better buffets but for lawton, Hong Kong is the best in town. No doubt about it.

The service is excellent. The staff are very attentive. Everything is clean and there is a large selection of food. The quality of the food is ok; which is acceptable to me in a buffet. Nothing I tried stood out as excellent, but for about $ 12 per adult, including your drink, I was satisfied.

I ate here a week ago. Actually enjoyed the food to a level of three stars until I left and had to deal with an upset stomach the rest of the day. What happened to Chinese food? It use to be SO much better. It’s probably my fault for expecting more from a buffet.

Second or follow up review. Have not had a lot of these lately. I keep finding dumps that take only one visit\meal to realize i was probably lucky to escape the meal with my colon in tact. They take only one review, a baaaaaad review. In any case Hong Kong deserves a second review and an update to 4 stars!!! WOW! fireworks, marching band… ok, its Lawton so how about a gunshot annnnnd police\ firengine sirens aaahahaha… ha…ha uuuu ok. Im a fan. Been back here at least 15 times and have never been disappointed. Are they the best, no. Are they exciting, no. Are they going to change the world… maybe. They are one thing and that is consistent. I like the Mongolian grill and the egg roles are always perfect. My wife likes the very simple sushi. Did I say like. I meant fanatical consumption to a point of world class status for most sushi consumed in 5 minutes. I keep telling her they will make more. She looks at me with pity in her eyes. Pity that I am so stupid as to think they can possibly make more before she eats it all. HA, just kidding I do that, probably too much. In truth to say she loves sushi is an understatement. Its very simple sushi but its always very fresh and fly free. I did not realize it but thinking about how many times we have been there in the last year I guess its our favorite for Chinese trough food. Service is also always great and price is outstanding about 10 bucks each a little more on the weekends.

I’ve heard about this place a lot from the locals and decided to try it out. It’s a chinese buffet that’s about $ 7 for lunch and $ 9 for dinner for adults, and a little cheaper for kids. For the amount of food you can possibly get, the price is dirt cheap. For the most part, the food is far from authentic, lacking in flavor, and is super greasy. The sushi should be avoided at all costs. The one favorable feature is that there’s an enormous selection to choose from. It feels like the food here isn’t about the quality, but more of just pumping out a vast amount of artery-clogging, passable food for the masses. The individual containers of ice cream they get from a Texas manufacturer are really good though.

Classify this restaurant as an amazing experience that shouldn’t be missed if you are in the area. Quite literally, I have never visited a Chinese buffet with this large of a variety. There were 6 large buffet stations, plus a Hibachi grill staffed by a chef. At the Hibachi station, food choices included steak, chicken and the full complement of stir fry vegetable choices, all cooked to order. The buffet stations included what one expects of a Chinese buffet, but also such things as raw oysters served on clam shells, crawfish, boiled shrimp, oven roasted salmon, mussels, and many Chinese dishes I had never seen before. The food was all hot, fresh and plentiful. Service by the staff was also outstanding. The buffet does include the Hibachi grill — including steak or grilled chicken — at no additional cost. Our party of four adults ate for $ 42 plus tip. Pretty amazing, really, when one considers how expensive steak and seafood can be. If we are in the area again, this is definitely worth a repeat visit.

I was recovering from a horrible experience at Mystique Nails. I couldn’t think of ANY way to feel better than hitting up Hong Kong buffet across from the salon. I love buffet — well doesn’t every American?(j/k) I like to pick my food and the condiments or go back and get more of the best items. The first time at Hong Kong, it was dinner on a weeknight. I got a to-go box of the buffet only(no Hibachi). The bulgogi was outstanding; it was fresh and a perfect flavor. The common items(including General Tso’s Chicken, Fried Rice, etc) were offered and delicious. There was only one item I tried I did not like. They also offer several«American» items(pizza). The buffet appeared clean and well stocked. I have returned several times for take out and dine in w/others. The buffet is $ 4.99 a pound. Crab legs and sushi are more and weighed separately. I don’t like crab legs or sushi, so I don’t know how much it costs.

Hong Kong is a good place for a nice bout of overeating when you’re in the mood. Most of the food is fried and oily, but there is a hibachi grill where you choose all of your ingredients salad-bar style on a plate and give it to the cook. It’s one of the few ways to eat your vegetables here. The hibachi food comes out fairly salty, but at least you can get a big pile of broccoli and cabbage to calm the urge to eat three pounds of lo mein later. Of course, if you’re all in on the greasy food, go straight for it(I’ve done it). Some of the foods are marked, and some aren’t. Most of the offerings are various types of chicken and beef. There are a few shrimp options and some other various seafood. No tofu, to my disappointment. There is a small sushi bar with ready-made sushi consisting of cooked and raw, and usually with a vegetable of some sort. The buffet’s vegetable egg rolls are some of my favorites, with a good umami taste. My husband always gets a slice of pizza on top of his first plate mountain of food; it never tastes good. I always look forward to eating dessert – especially the Chinese doughnuts. And I never leave without filling an ugly plastic mug full of grainy vanilla soft serve.
