Very nice, hardworking people making wonderful donuts and fresh and delicious Thai food. Donuts are always fresh and delicious and they have a great variety. I’ve been getting their donuts for months. I finally got around to checking them out for dinner and I’m wondering what took me so long! I had the tom kha soup and husband had tom yum with shrimp. Portions were enormous for the price and both soups were great quality and loaded with fresh vegetables. Husband wasn’t hungry so we split the green curry at spice level 2 and it was plenty spicy, and I love heat. The curry was very well made, it was loaded with colorful, fresh vegetables, and even pineapple. I got it with tofu, and the tofu is very nicely cooked and didn’t get soggy in the curry. The rice and it came with was very good as well. The portion was enormous, it easily fed both my husband and I. The server was very friendly and accommodating, all in all, a great stop for high-quality food and great service.

Can I say I love it here? One of my favorite places for a quick lunch. I was disappointed with Thai bistro and turned to Unilocal reviews to help me find this donut shop that also had Thai food. I love their yellow curry. Big chunks of carrot, potato and onion with your choice of meat… Simmering with creamy coconut-y curry. My go to. I also like the pad see yew, thick rice flat noodles, a nice salty change from pad Thai. It’s interesting that they also serve Vietnamese phở, but it was pretty good, they gave healthy sides if bean sprouts, mint, cilantro, lime and fresh jalepenos. Definitively filling and look forward to eating more in the upcoming with winter months … I prefer taking cash with me because sometimes their machine is down, pending on weather… Also, $ 1.20 gives you a dozen donut holes. Best dessert after a meal. Oh and please be forewarned, their spicy level is Thai legit… A level 1 can leave a good burn going down, level 3 made my lips feel like a kardashian sister!

This place continues to be a regular spot for me after nearly 3 years here. It honestly baffles me that there are complaints about the food or service– I’ve only seen and received incredibly welcoming attentive service and the food has never degraded in quality.

I love the yellow curry. I like the fact that they can remove the peanuts. The staff are always friendly. The drive thru is convenient. Prices are decent. Service is fast. Yummy Food!

This food!!! OMGEEEE! Amazballs! I was here visiting the city for a wedding. I’m from Dallas, Texas so I definitely know my Thai food. This was by far one of the best places ever. It is a true gem in this small city!

This place rocks. We have been in town f a few months and have food only 3 places we want to go back to, including this place. Great food. Fresh. Made to order. And the donuts are good too. Even in the afternoon. Nothing is greasy.

Here for a few days for my brother’s boot camp graduation. Craved Thai for a late lunch, went on Unilocal, and found this little gem. It’s not much on the outside and inside. A little out dated but it’s a cute little hole in a wall place. The family that runs the place are super friendly. The prices are pretty decent. I believe the most is $ 10. The portions though… SOMUCHFOOD. One entrée can easily feed a family of four. And their in house made Thai iced tea is really good. Not too sweet but the flavor is on point. We also picked up some donuts to go and the donuts are just as good as the reviews say! If we ever make it back into the area, we will definitely come back! :)

I think they got a new cook! I used to have issues with the consistency on their spicy level selections, but not anymore. I think they are doing a great job! This last time I tried the coconut soup and it was bomb-tastic!

Incredible… Do not let the donut selection fool you. This place is legit. As always I have to try the Pad Thai. Not only is it absolutely delicious the portions are very large. No skimping on meat and/or flavor. It is definitely in my Top 5 places for Pad Thai. Highly recommend you give this Lawton favorite a try.

My family have traveled to different states and country including Thailand. We always try to dine on local resto. One of the good foods we have tried here in Lawton. Authentic Thai food. They will ask you a choice if you want your food with spice or nothing. They have I think 4 levels of spice. I love spicy food, level one is about right that you can still enjoy your food with a kick :) They have good donuts too! :) They plated servings are a lot with a good price.

donut and thai food together in one place?! you no longer need to choose! this is a review for the donuts/coffee side only. We came hear very early on a Saturday morning before our flight out of Lawton and Daylight had a nice selection of donuts and even had some croissant sandwiches on sale. I ordered a chocolate donut with nuts that was very soft and delicious and their coffee was very well flavored and made just to my liking(with crème and sugar). That’s really all I look for when buying coffee and donuts! Cheap, fast, good service — I’d be back for another donut… maybe as a dessert to my thai food???

How serendipitous is this? Donuts and Thai food? It may not have been an intentional combination but it works. At first glance, one might be tempted to pass this place up. Visually, there’s nothing appealing. But gastronomically, the Thai food is amazing. I had the pineapple fried rice and the boy had the peanut curry. Both were delicious. Plus, the portion sizes were enough to last me 3 meals. We grabbed some donuts to finish off our meal which were alright, but I have a suspicion they’re probably exponentially better fresh and hot in the morning.

Get your pad thai cravings fulfilled here. Oh, and any donut dessert cravings as well! The pad thai during lunch time comes as a full plate(enough for lunch and leftovers for dinner) and a free small egg roll. They rate their spiciness on a numeral scale but it seems slightly inconsistent. I’d recommend ordering non– spicy and ask for sriracha or chili sauce to mix in yourself.(Just ask and they’re nice enough to explain their spice level system) I’ve only ever ordered the Bavarian cream filled donuts, but I keep ordering it every time I go back so it must be good. Service is fast enough for an hour lunch break including a fifteen minute drive there.

Review for the Thai food only. I’ve been craving Thai and was a little iffy about trying this place. Especially because it doubles as a donut shop. But I’m glad I came here! Talked to a woman who may be the owner and she was super sweet. She’s from California so that’s probably why the food here is good :) FOOD: Drunken noodles(4 stars): This place will get me back because of this alone! Thank you for flavorful noodles in Lawton! Pad see ew(3 stars): Too sweet, normally pad see ew isn’t that sweet. I would recommend the drunken noodles over this, but usually pad see ewe is my favorite dish at Thai restaurants. Pad Thai(3.5 stars): I’m not a big pad thai fan in the first place but it tasted like normal pad thai so if you like pad thai you should order it! Ordered medium spice level the first time and it wasn’t spicy at all. Got medium again the second time and it was pretty darn spicy! So the spice levels are inconsistent. Glazed donut(4 stars): Fluffy, good glaze, not too sweet! SERVICE: Everyone was really nice. My dish took a little longer to come out than the other at my table which was weird since we all ordered noodles. For ordering take out I just called ahead and the food was ready in 15 minutes. ATMOSPHERE: So this place doubles as a donut shop which I have never seen before, but I guess it works for them. I just hated the mixture of Thai food and donut smell in the air. My sense of smell was confused! There weren’t very many donuts left at the end of the night so I’m guessing more people go for that in the morning. It got pretty busy on a Friday night for dinner. I will definitely come back to get those drunken noodles.

I use this only as a descriptor because I don’t know her name — the very overweight white American waitress should be fired. She screwed up our orders and then came out and confronted us and called us liars when we sent the food back. We walked out. She is Rude and unprofessional… and obviously sucks at her job.

One of Lawton’s best restaurants. Their food is awesome, and completely unexpected from a donut shop. The roasted duck is excellent, and orange chicken. Only complaint I have is that the SPICESCALE is not consistent.

This is the first time I haver ever been to a Thai restaurant which doubled as a donut shop. This place is really great! I didn’t try to Thai food because I was never in the mood, but the donuts and the breakfast sandwiches, I say again, the breakfast sandwiches, are really good. The one thing I noticed is that I could tell by the taste of the sandwiches and donuts, they use an asian/oriental type of oil, which isn’t bad, but it just leaves a distinctive after taste, which I kind of like. The are definitely friendly. One thing that prevented me giving 5 stars is just the building itself. It could use a bit of remodeling, but other than that, if I had a chance, I would eat breakfast/donuts here probably once a week.

Only Thai food in 50 miles. Thank goodness it is tasty! We’ve been in town for almost a month. We’ve eaten at Daylight Donuts and Thai Food Express three times, trying something different on each visit. So far, everything we have tried has been quite tasty, though a bit on the sweet side. The next time we visit we will ask for a reduction in sugar. The only thing I’ve tried that I would not order again is the Pad Thai, but only because the Drunken Noodles are so much better! Our favorite so far has been the Red Curry, though the addition of pineapple makes me wonder if they are using a recipe for Massaman Curry instead. Either way, the portion is huge and delicious, and is served with a generous mound of rice. The lunch portions are no smaller than the dinner portions, but cost a few dollars less and come with the chef’s choice of appetizer. Lunch is a great way to try the food in this simple restaurant. As for the name? Yes, it really is a donut shop. They have a full case of donuts each morning, and they are sold by the time the doors are locked. They also sell a selection of breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and beverages. We have not tried the hot foods, but the donuts are good, and a surprisingly nice way to end a Thai meal.

There is some of the top, if not the best, food served in Lawton at this modest restaurant. I guess it is difficult in this city though to make it serving Thai food. I am rooting for this place to change the palates of Lawton’s citizens. The name and look of this place may seem a little strange since I believe they share the rent with a donut shop in the same location, but looks are deceiving. The Thai food here is authentic and delicious. They would do so well in a larger or more diverse city. I’ve tried three things here: pad thai, house fried rice, and the sweet and sour chicken. The pad thai had the correct level of savoryness, sweetness, and sourness that is prevalent in excellent pad thais. It’s a fried noodle dish for those unfamiliar. The house fried rice was fulfilling with a ton of chicken, fresh vegetables, and a perfect amount of seasoning. The sweet and sour came with a side of white rice and was also filled with a lot of vegetables and chicken. The prices might seem a little high at $ 8 – 13 for dinner, but the portions are enormous and it’s understandable the ingredients might be hard to find in Lawton. The pad thai and sweet and sour were enough for two meals, and the fried rice maybe three. They also don’t skimp on the meat portions for the entrees. There’s a difference in price here between lunch and dinner, with dinner being about $ 2 – 3 more per dish than lunch. I haven’t tried the donuts yet, but they do look pretty good. The coffee is dirt cheap at 75 cents for a small.
