Darby’s Big Furniture

Looking for a chair and a half for my wife. Stopped by Darby’s to look around. The staff was great. Usually the staff in a furniture store is pushy but they were not. I really liked the ability to look around without being followed and told about each piece of furniture. Didn’t find what we were looking for but found something better. A chaise lounge that fit perfectly with the furniture we already had. The buying process was hassle-​free and they delivered it free of charge and on the same day. Definitely going back for future furniture purchases.

I recently went here looking for a sectional for my new apartment. I had been to other furniture stores and saw a sectional I liked at one for 1100 dollars but i still wanted to browse around. I am so glad I did. I went to Darbys and walked about 2 minutes in I was approached by Joe, one of the salesmen. He was very friendly and helpful. I told him I was just browsing and he left me alone and didn’t hover which is always nice. They did not have a large selection of microfiber sectionals on the floor so I asked him about it and he said their website has more stock which can be delivered. He sat me down and gave me a catalog to look through and I found the PERFECT sectional. I was expecting it to be 1100 – 1500 but the price he gave me was 800 with free delivery! He said it would take 3 – 4 weeks to get delivered since they had to order it. I only had to put 30% down and pay the rest when the couch comes in. He was very nice, and he chatted with my boyfriend about fishing while I browsed the catalog. There were no extra fees or warrantys sneekily added into the bill like you will find at other furniture stores in town. This place is a Gem and I will absolutely go here again if I need any more furniture pieces. I will update when the couch gets here!
