My wife and I decided to come here on our 17th anniversary and we could t be happier. I can’t say enough about Chianti and their staff. The owner was our server and the entire staff would stop and ask if we needed anything. Awesome teamwork, with amazing food. The Food. I capitalized food be cause it deserves it. We started with an antipasto plate with goat cheese, salami, ham, olives, pickled okra and pita chips. It was very smooth and creamy cheese. This combined with the other items made us curious of what was to come. Although there is only one item on the menu for the entrée, it was well worth it. Smoked Sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans with a reduction and horseradish cream that just took it to another level. We told the owner that it was our anniversary and we were excited to be there and he brought a cupcake that just put the evening over the top. We will most definitely be returning to Chianti, with excitement of what else we can have.

We’ve been going to Chianti since their previous location, and like the fact that some class is in Lawton. Their wines are decent, not world-class, but a good cross-section, and expanding in selection. You can get their wines by the bottle at a retail store for a few dollars more than a glass, but that’s standard anywhere. Friendly service, and they have a «wine club» which allows tasting with other oenophiles. Sometimes there’s live music. We’ve never had their entrees so can’t comment on them.

My overall experience was great. The wine is well priced and so are the meals and appetizers. I have the ceviche which reminded me of guacamole. Other than that the aura is refreshing and it’s a great place to meet and chat business or hanging out

My fiancé and I have been here twice and we love this place. The first time we ate dinner it was wonderful. You could tell that the chef takes pride in what he sends out of the kitchen. They serve only one item per night which may not be some people’s thing, but I like the concept and I think it works. It’s best to order wine by the bottle if you are planning to have more than one glass. The first time we went we ordered by the glass and it was pretty expensive that way. Their cheesecake is very good also. They had live entertainment the first night we went and that was nice as well. If you are looking for a nice adult night out and like a laid back, chill, atmosphere this is the place to check out.

Went last night with a small group to have a some wine and conversation. The evening started out OK. Not a huge crowd and so we found seating right away. Our server came right away and we ordered some wine & the cheese tray. We tried another wine for the next glass and it tasted off. Like it either had been open for a while or was simply going bad. We let her know and while defensive she did offer to remove it. We asked for a minute before we made another selection and she never came back. Finally I went to the bar so we could at least cash out and leave. And yes, they did charge us for the bad wine. And my understanding is that our server is also the manager.

This place has a great food, excellent atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef tenderloin, French onion soup, and cheesecake. My fiancée got the bruschetta and raspberry tiramisu. Everything tasted very good and was beautifully displayed.

Great place to come hang out with some friends or with that special someone in your life. I have came across this this place twice. The first was with a group of 6 we were able to bring in our nachos from twisted taco and got pretty twisted at chianti. So it’s great for groups. Second was for the brunch with my baby mama. Haha ok my wife. Brunch was good and service has always been great. If you like wine then you should check this place out. If you want a place you can lounge at then that’s another reason to come.

Snobbish staff, condescending instead of accommodating.

The price you have to dish out is definitely is for the quality of the atmosphere. The bruschetta is dripping in oil and the wine is over priced. I could buy a full bottle for the price of a glass — but, like I said you’re paying for the environment. Good spot for a fancy date, restaurant was full of couples.

The food here is really good. Not what I expected in Lawton. The wine selection is ok. The only set back is they only have one entrée a night. But I’ll come here one night every week until I try them all. The staff is very friendly and a joy to be around. Great for a date night or a group function. If this was in a larger city it would only get 3 stars. But this is a gem in Lawton.

3.5 stars, rounded up, because this is Lawton, and the owners deserve the extra star. If Chianti was in a place other than Lawton I might not be as generous. I am also reviewing this as a person who does not drink, so can not speak to their selection or knowledge of wine. A classy wine bar in Lawton is a risky endeavor. This is a solidly blue collar, meat and potatoes and beer sort of town. Heck, turn those potatoes into vodka and it will be even better! The idea of a variety of wine served with a small selection of upscale dishes is an oddity, and I’m happy that it is here, and really hope that it continues on an upward path. Unfortunately, each time I’ve visited have had issues with both food and overall service. The personal service my small group received was welcome, but the timing of the dishes was obviously difficult to manage, and the lack of options for those who might not want to drink alcohol makes this a difficult place for me to meet with friends. It took three hours for our group of five people to receive all of the food ordered(Two entrees, six appetizers, four desserts, and a variety of drinks. My water glass was refilled multiple times, because the only cold beverage available to me was water. My main issue here is one of description and consistency. I ordered«Shrimp Ceviche» and received three medium sized shrimp cut in half and placed atop a scoop of guacamole. Two people at my table ordered identical entrees and received two wildly different amounts of food. The cheesecake was described as fresh, and was delicious, but no mention was made of the spicy fruit topping that accompanied the generous slices. This has been a difficult review for me to write. I want to do nothing but praise this wine bar, but can’t help but mention the few things that could improve.

My wife and I were looking for something to do last Friday night. We had heard about this place and decided to give it a try. Good Call! It was a little expensive. But it was great. We did have 2 bottles of great wine and an excellent cheese and fruit tray for $ 70. They had a couple guys playing jazz. The service was great. This is a great date night place. Our only criticism would be that they need some lower priced things on the menu. Iced Tea would also be nice. But like I said, it was expensive but we enjoyed it.

The best culinary and beverage experience to be found in Lawton. I suppose if this were a city such as Dallas or Tulsa five stars would be generous however for a town full of hamburger joints and sports bars, Chianti stands above every other establishment in town. The venue is delightfully warm and inviting, designed for clientele to come in, enjoy fine wine and/or spirits, partake in a limited but exceptional menu, and have a satisfying time. Well I am not as versed in wine as I am in beer and spirits, the wine list seems to be very diverse providing outstanding selections for what ever your taste desires. They have a small but relatively appropriate beer list, personally I would like to see less commercial beer(InBev or Miller/Coors brands) and significantly more Craft and Micro options. However given their emphasis is on wine, the limited beer selections is very appropriate. Naturally fine spirits go with wine as well and again the bar is quite properly provisioned for those wishing something a bit stronger than wine or ale. The staff is knowledgeable and well-versed in the beverage selections they offer as well, if you are on the fence as to what your palate would desire they are appropriately educated to assist you in your selection. Hiding in the depths of this wine bar is a culinary experience the likes of which I doubt Lawton has ever seen before. They have obtained the services of a classically trained chef who has experience at some of the finest restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Chef has prepared a menu which is ideal for a wine bar, slightly larger offerings than you would expect at a tapas bar but slightly smaller then most would be used to in the Lawton area from the«other» dining opportunities. Note: I will will never consider a chain restaurant to be fine dining — although that seems to be the only thing that this community considers fine cuisine. Chef has prepared a marvelous appetizer menu, well-suited for an individual or a group to enjoy while relaxing with a glass of standing wine. His dinner selections each night are executed in a manner consistent with culinary excellence. Given the emphasis of this establishment is wine and the limited available in the kitchen, the nightly special entrée is executed perfectly. With their goal of changing their menu on a monthly basis, there will be a constant rotation of fine tastes to enjoy. Some have commented that their prices may be slightly high, however I caution people to remember this is a new establishment providing a quality experience the likes of which cannot be found in a 75 to 100 mile radius. When you factor in the costs associated with traveling to find anything comparable you will quickly realize it is very affordable. If one were to compare this to any other establishment in the greater Lawton/Southwest Oklahoma area they would be greatly mistaken in this reviewer’s opinion. It simply stands head and shoulders above any possible comparison. Bön Appetit and Godetevi e mangiare bene I miei amici!!!

Stoked! I’ve found a wine bar in Lawton, OK. I love wine. I especially love the acquired taste of Cabernet Sauvignon. This place is beautiful. The ambience and atmosphere is perfect. I came in on Wednesday and had a delicious dinner. My dinner included Roasted Pork Tenderloin with ginger polenta and Brussels sprouts. Very tasty and just enough for your tummy. The waitresses were very informative and give me the weekend fun spill. This is a great place to host friends, an event, or with your loved one. Can’t wait to come again with the hubby!

Great atmosphere, fantastic cheese plates with fresh/crisp fruit, but very disappointed with the wine selection. A $ 15 Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages at cache liquors is $ 9 a glass at the bar, and no high(er) end wines listed.(I.e. Barbaresco, chateneauf du pape, or even a chianti reserva) Yes, I know you are paying for the atmosphere; I wouldn’t mind the extremely high mark up if I could sample wines that I can’t usually bring my self to buy the entire bottle. And a $ 10 gabbiano chianti that you can find at any liquor store is not one of them. If you actually enjoy wine, don’t expect to be satisfied with the wine list. Suggestions. Add a few $ 15-$ 30 a bottle wines(banfi chianti reserva, any of the Kendall Jackson vinters reserves, B&G Rhones, and/or duck pond pinot are all safe bets) and offer multiple cheese plates to match with sweet vs dry. I swear I’m not a wine snob, I just enjoy a vast selection of wine, which was lacking in the menu. I have never spent more than $ 30 on a bottle of wine, great wine can be found at any price.
