We just moved here and was told by the movers to check this place out. After googling the directions, we found it. It’s a small hole in the wall place. Nothing fancy. We ordered the taco special, the ground beef burrito, the kids shredded beef burrito and the kids quesadilla. The crunchy tacos were okay, what made them were the delicious toppings and amazing salsa. The ground beef burrito was okay. The beef was dry and lacked flavor. The shredded beef burrito was very good and simple, and the kids quesadilla was just that. Nothing fantastic. We ordered the Oreo churros for dessert which my family loved. The only issue I had with this place was the workers seemed tired or uninterested. I’m sure they get busy but when we went there was no one else there. After sitting down they got slammed though. We would go again for the carnitas or their Cali burrito to try. The food was good so that was the most important to us.

My husband and I love Cali Burrito. The food is fresh and fast. You can pick your own toppings/fillings similar to chipotle. The carnitas are our favorite meat choice, juicy and delicious. The portions are large! My husband and I can share a burrito and be more than satisfied. You get more for you money than most places in town. Every time we have gone the staff has been friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Cali Burrito!

AMAZING!!! First time visit today. Called in 5 orders for everyone at work to pick up at 1140. I got there at 1135 and everything was ready to go! All orders were correct(which never happens anywhere else we call in orders uh hmm mcalisters) the bag had to weigh 20 lbs! Between the orders we had chicken, steak, chili verde, and carnitas and they were all delish. All the salsas are tasty and the queso is so thick and tasty! Best first experience at a place in Lawton since we have been here, will be going back at least once a week!!! The staff was also very friendly and helpful and didn’t roll their eyes when I said I had 5 separate payments. Thanks Cali burrito!

Grew up in Los Angeles so I know my Mexican food very well. All the meats are great as well as the Mexican rice. I recommend the Burrito California. You’re welcome.

Hands down, the best burrito in Lawton. Loved the special chile relleno burrito, I hope they keep it on the menu, I will dream about it. I also loved the refreshing green salsa, it tasted so fresh and had a wonderful kick. Prices are great, food is outstanding, it’s well worth the trip off the beaten path.

Fast, friendly and delicious! I went to Call Burrito with my family of 5 and were very happy. The line moved quickly. The staff was courteous and efficient. The burritos were very tasty! The place was clean, I have only good things to say about this place. It is like a noncommercial Chipotle with a mom and pop feel and in my opinion better food. We found our place for good burritos in Lawton.

Upon arriving at California Burrito, I was astonished at the location of the business. The location is very much off of the beaten path and if you’re not careful you might pass it up. The parking lot is small and is shared with an Islamic Church; needless to say, when church is in session, you may have to park along the street. The neighborhood seems quiet and the area around the building is clean. Inside was spotless, I didn’t have the opportunity of visiting the old location on Cache Rd, but I can assume it was so clean that you could eat off of the floor. The menu is fairly large and accommodate those with a high tolerance for spice. I ordered the California Fries with carne asada(steak)($ 6.79) and my husband ordered the California Burrito with chicken and ground beef($ 7.49). The fries came in a plastic bowl with cheese sauce, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and medium hot salsa with the steak directly on top of the fries. It was fantastic! My husband is a repeat offender so he is used to the overstuffed burrito with bacon and fries. I would recommend to anyone that wants a quick meal but not if you’re planning on going to work or anything afterward, it will definitely put you to sleep.

The original California Burrito closed almost two years ago. Long live the new Cali Burrito Express! I was not able to eat at the original location, so can not compare this new restaurant to the older version. I can compare it to Qdoba, which seems to be its closest competition, food-wise. The concept is nearly identical to Qdoba. Pick your protein, add your veggies, eat more calories than you thought you might. And here you were, thinking this was healthy. So sorry! The portions here are huge, and the service is friendly. My son and I each ordered a burrito, filled it with good things, and shared a drink, for a total cost of $ 17. We left vowing that the next time we are there we will share a burrito as well. I have a feeling that we are lying to ourselves, but it is a possibility. The only thing that I found not wonderful about the meal is that my plate did not include tortilla chips. It isn’t that I need a whole bunch, just a few to add some texture and to make the simple food feel more like an actual meal. Still, $ 8 is a price that I’m willing to pay for a burrito that could easily be the only meal of my day. I will point out that the restaurant is in an odd location, a quiet neighborhood at the edge of the«downtown» area. They do have their own parking lot, and there is plenty of street parking as well. It is close enough for someone who works at the courthouse can make a quick lunch run. Don’t let the neighborhood scare you away, though. These burritos make the trip with the while.
