Loved the service, great food and followed up with boba tea! Loved that the menu was easy to navigate, food was quick and delicious.

I really used to love this place and I’m great disappointed as I write this review. I had been frequenting this place for over 2 years and over the last 6 months I have seen it go DOWNHILL. The food quality has changed, the staff is inconsistent, the PRICES are inconsistent. According to the workers the prices are changing but they have yet to update the menus which constitutes FALSEADVERTISING. This has happened to me on 3 separate occasions and my bill was ridiculous. I’ve showed them the menu with the prices and they find a staff member to explain away that their pricing has changed and the menu is an old one yet no NEW menu is available! It’s like their just making it up as they go along! No-Go Saigon!

This is the worst saigon café I ever personally experienced. Food was horrible and service was worst.

This morning I had the pleasure of experiencing a new Vietnamese restaurant. Although the outlooks of the restaurant was a bit shabby and could require a little more work, I was still intrigued. Upon my presence, I noticed that the restaurant was quit busy, yet there was only one server. Nevertheless, I was greeted by a young fellow whom I regret to not have the chance to ask for his name. He ran around taking orders, making refills, bringing forth food for customers, and was still able to have a polite attitude(evident upon his expression, in addition to making time to check on his customers). My food took a bit long, yet it was understandable and worth the wait. The«A1», also known as the«Goi Coun» was excellent. Furthermore I ordered a «Sesame Chicken» and appraised it to be quite a decent meal. The chicken was crispy, golden and glazed to the right amount. However, the rice did not appeal very much to me. I concluded the meal with the well-known«Bubble Tea» and it was very pleasant; in astonishment, I found that the server was also the maker of the drink and did a great job of checking on me frequently; and he delighted me with a vibrant atmosphere through jokes and questions. Overall, the restaurant presents itself a 4.5 star(and since I can not rate it so, I shall put in an extra half star for the great service) to me and I will be returning. I must emphasize that it was a very great experience.

Love their phở, other items are pretty good. I’d go with the veggie phở, the meat in the beef phở doesn’t seem good quality. Service is good at the mall of GA location however I was left unattended and served with the wrong food at the scenic hwy location.

Not too impressed with this place. Service was slow and lacking, yet friendly. Food came quickly. Tom Kha soup was average, Thai fried rice was good. The kids did not like their meals. Portions were decent. Our bill was higher than normal due to no kids meal. Took a long time to get to go boxes and our bill. Will not be returning.

The only redeeming part of the experience here was that the food was halfway decent. Pretty sure that no one on the staff understands basic restaurant operations though. Getting the first entrée 10 minutes before the others kind of dampens the mood at the table. Pad Thai is okay, and kids orange chicken was not bad. Chicken Satay is good, but stay away from the Spring Rolls.

Not authentic, basically a watered down American version. Id rather go to Duluth for real Vietnamese food and seeing that I’m Vietnamese and grew up eating my moms home cooking I know what good food is. The only time I would go here is if I was really lazy, sick, had no car and the other Vietnamese restaurant in Grayson closed. All of these things would have to happen all at once and I really needed phở. The service is so-so depending on who you get. I’ve ordered out a few times and they always mess it up making me wait longer and not even comping me for anything that they messed up. The two times we ate here service was slow and there was only 1 or 2 other people there. The phở has a weird taste to it not authentic. The white meat chicken taste like it’s been sitting out for days.

Food Score Rating 83B. I’ve been to the Duluth and Burford locations and the service at this location doesn’t compare. We were greeted and sat as normal. We ordered our usual and request that all the food come out at the same time. The soups came out first Phở and Tom Ka then 10 minutes later my wife and mine main dishes came out. 10 more minutes later my in laws dishes came out. The Phở was missing the side of bean sprouts, cilantro, etc. We had to ask for the soup spoon as well. The combo plates that were ordered was missing the side of fish sauce. Management seemed more interest in getting customers in and out. The preparation of the meats were poor clumps of pork instead of slices. The cookery was poor as well. I’m going to stick to going to the other locations.

My husband and I love phở and we often eat at the Saigon Café in Decatur. We were excited when this one opened up closer to home. After 6 visits and 2 Togo pick ups we decided that we would rather drive to decatur than continue eating at this restaurant. Yes, The food is good. But the service is awful. Not just the long delays and forgetting orders, but the attitudes of some of the employees is that they just don’t care whatsoever. If you order Togo, they leave out very crucial ingredients. This hasn’t happened once or twice but every time. Just not worth it.

I had boba for the first time ever with my mum and I’m so glad it was here because it was delicious. I got a mango smoothie one that was a little too icy but she got the fresh avocado boba drink and it was so good. Great food and service. I had the seafood noodle soup which was so amazing and will definitely be ordering it next time. My mum got the Spicy Basil Eggplant and she said it was great. Gonna make this place my new fave spot.

Paid 14 dollars for tiny egg rolls and a meal that mostly consisted of rice noodles. What it did contain of the barbecue pork and shrimp were tasty however having been to several Vietnamese restaurants on Buford Highway I felt cheated in quality, quantity and authenticity. Not enough herbs and several missing, daikon lacked flavor and there was not enough of it. Just a typical dumbing down of Asian food without even an attempt to stick to one cuisine. They serve a few Vietnamese and a few Chinese dishes and probably more. I didn’t try to figure it out since I came for Vietnamese. Just was generally disappointed especially for the price paid. Felt more like an attempt at a rip off than anything. I will have to make the trek to Buford Highway because Snellville apparently only wants these sub par chain joints around.

I wasn’t going to review this place since I’ve reviewed one in Duluth already. However, I didn’t think it was fair since they’re franchised. I have to say I’ve been to this location twice and this second visit has to be favorite. The service was really great. Food is subjective to everyone but you it’s mutual when it comes to the service. They were very accommodating to us and I felt pleasant leaving afterwards. The food is fine. It’s definitely catered to the more Americanized palate than I’m used to for traditional Vietnamese food. But I get it, as long as it tastes good. We ordered Phở, Shaky Beef with Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice and they’re tasty. I like that they have pictures on the menu and then they have the sales pitch next to it… Highly recommended fried egg on your Shaky Beef with Rice plate for $ 2.00… stuff like that… It’s a great marketing pitch to put in people’s head like mine, it works. They now have a kid’s menu with a fair price. They didn’t have it the first time and I had to order an adult size fried rice for the the lil munchkin. It comes with a heaping of shrimp fried rice and an egg roll with this amazing pineapple sauce. My lil monster slurped it like juice. All in all, I recommend going here, especially for the Snellville area where there’s no Vietnamese food.

I really wanted to like this place instead of driving out to my Duluth phở spot all the time, but I’m going to stay loyal to my preferred place. All in all, this place isn’t authentic at all. This is my second time at a different Saigon location and it’s just disgusting to me and I am very appreciative towards a wide variety of places. I will never go to a Saigon again. We had a very cute little waitress I’m guessing the owner’s kid that was a pleasant surprise and definitely enjoyed that! I guess since I can’t give 0 stars this 1 star will be for her :) The Shrimp rice rolls without pork were delicious/fresh although smaller than what you get from an authentic phở place. I had the Phở Tai(beef) and it reeked of that nauseating meat smell you get when something is overcooked or just not fresh. From the start I wasn’t pleased with the smell. Going through the meal, the phở is like a fake McDonald’s version of broth. It wasn’t savory or delicious at all it was just like salty water with a bad beef smell. The noodles also don’t taste or aren’t cooked authentically as well. They don’t give you the long culantro herb(not talking about cilantro), No chopsticks you have to request, they forgot the spoons for the phở WTF was up with my beef ! It was like curled up, wierd globs of fetus position meat not the thinly sliced. This meal was just a disaster. I wasn’t satisfied with this place and they’re priced higher than other phở places Customer service is nice and friendly and I appreciate the kindness and respectfulness they showed us. However, this is a restaurant and the food doesn’t match the great customer service.

The snellville location is amazing. 1– in a quiet and clean shopping center. 2– very very clean restaurant. There’s a huge glass window that let’s people in the dining room see everything going on in the kitchen. That’s a sign of cleanliness to me. 3– fast service. Same quality food as all the other locations. I always get P-1. Also try my friend’s favorite dish: steamed shrimp rolls with basil. Yum. 4– staff is very polite. More helpful and social than other locations. The manager came to our table to ask us if there’s anything he can do to make this a better experience. The server shared with us some stories about making phở, and the proper way to get it heated up after you cook it. Over all, I think I found a new favorite restaurant.

The snellville location literally just opened. I have been going to the Duluth Saigon Café for YEARS! I have also tried the Clairmont Saigon a couple of times as well as the Lawrenceville/Suwaneeish location a couple times. It is kind of interesting how each Saigon has consistency, but with just a little bit of variance. This new location is very consistent with the other Saigons. My favorite things at Saigon are the Phở Ga(Chicken Phở) and the A1(Pork & Shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls) You can always order things with tofu instead of meat/fish too. I didn’t try the phở here yet, but my friend who has also gone to the duluth one many times says it tastes just as amazing as the Pleasant hill location. I think this is the only Vietnamese place in Snellville so it’s nice to see our suburbs are getting a little more diversity even if it is a local chain. I will be back here with friends for sure.
