Johnny’s New York Style Pizza

Decent pizza. Chain spot but great wings. Cute patio seating if you choose to eat outside and we did. The service was impressionable. The waitress had good suggestions. I don’t typically like lemon pepper chicken but their hot lemon pepper wings were good. Perfect crunch to the skin. I would go back for the wings alone. Yummy

The pizza is kick-​butt! I had never known what New York style pizza really was, and I am happy to say that Johnny’s was the place to pop my cherry. Have a salad with it for pure Heaven. The only downside is the pizza just leaves me wanting more and more until I’m bloated as a house. Stop by. Seriously, Papa John’s will taste like plastic afterward…

I ordered a slice of pizza and Greek salad. The food was really good and the service even better. Stepping into Johnny’s is like going home. They always remember me and welcome me back. Good food each and every time.

Not a fan. Ate here on 11−17−15 and the service was slow and the waitress had no knowledge on mixed drinks (which they serve here). The specialty slices of pizza are $ 4 – 5 per slice which I think is rather expensive. Our party had to wait to get waters and silverware w/​napkins. I ordered 2 slices, one was with pepperoni and black olives. The olives just fell off the pizza and it was a huge mess. I was disappointed and I don’t think the food is worth the price.

This ones a tough one. Have been here before with a group and would say 4 of 5. But, went on a Sunday during football season and disaster! Should have realized pulling in, no cars. They only get basic channels. Not a sports bar, a family pizza place. Food is very good and staff is nice. Just disappointed I wasn’t able to watch my game in a fun environment.

This place is awesome! Ok so its pizza night at my household and we’re sick of the regular fast food places and we always see this place so I thought that we should try it. The pizzas here are just a little bit more expensive than fast-​food/​carry-​outs but the taste is definitely worth it. We got the veggie lovers pizza. Mediums are $ 17 and Larges are $ 22. The medium feels like a large though and my family and me (3 of us) had 3 slices leftover for tomorrow. We got the crust thin and we told them to cook it light and it created the perfect light pizza that wasn’t too oily or bready. I wasn’t a huge fan of the garlic knots, but maybe they taste better if you eat them at the restaurant warm. They came with marinara sauce, but the sauce didn’t help it much for me. The service and friendliness of the hostess was above-​and-​beyond. It was such a short interaction but after seeing a bad attitude at some of the other neighborhood carry-​out places it was a nice change for us. The restaurant itself looks fun to visit with craft beers and a bar.

Visit this place at least once a week for several years now. Nice staff and great fast service!

Really disappointed! My girlfriend and I were looking forward to our cheat meal and we looked around the area for the best rated pizza places. The reviews led me to Johnnys.
Seems like they didnt use ANY seasoning in the pizza sauce and the crust tasted like microwave pizza. Ive honestly had better frozen pizza out of the box. Not trying to be mean nor am i one to write reviews. But the disappointment is real. Wont be ordering from hear again

Trivia here sucks balls. Also the service sucks too. We have had 3 different servers and all three have sucked. I actually got up and refilled my own drink. Also, why is there 1 toilet per 40 customers???

Med Salad with grilled chicken was filling and fresh. Hubs’ value was baked top perfection. Kids ’ chicken bites and slice were tasty.
But the happiest part is the draught beer selection. I did not know this was so close to me.
Topping off the experience was a talented pianist/​vocalist covering Billy Joel, The Police, Gotye, Bruce Hornsby, and and some tastefully interpreted oldies. Unobtrusive, genuinely entertaining, and not hard to listen to.
Now if I can only convince the manager/​chef that they don’t need to use corn meal underneath their pizza…

Eggplant pam tasted like it was old and the pasta was dry, lasagnia tasted like frozen box from the store. Bad food experience to be my first timer

the food isn’t the best, but it’ll do. beer and trivia is what i go for. the beer selection is second to known in all of Gwinnett County. the trivia is of the Team variety, so it’s worth the trip. like Nike says, just do it.

Love this place! Garlic knots are THE BOMB! Remember they take up alot of room in the olé tummy. so always end up taking pizza home. Great service, clean, reasonbly priced… cant go wrong. They also have live trivia during the week.

I like this place. This can be said more about the staff than the food but the food is not bad. I like the people at this Johnny’s. They are friendly and they are there to help you. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Johnny’s could work on its menu but it is good for wings and pizza.

Very good pizza and one of the best craft beer lists in Gwinnett. Service is usually fantastic. Pizza by the slice was not the best choice. It was a cold piece of pep w/​my toppings added. Ask for a beer flight chosen by your server. They’ve tried them a all. ;~D

Pretty good pizza. Somewhat reminiscent or the closest to homegrown NJ pizza parlors. Every wednesday slices are only one dollar.

Not bad for a chain. I have been passing by different Johnny’s for a while and finally decided to try it out. Ironically I went right after working out.
