The fact that you are reading a review from me is a minor miracle because I never make time to do this. That is until I got back from a procedure at the Lawrenceville Surgery Center. Dr. Mary Jo Albert referred me to Dr. Tamara Chachashvili for a shot in my hip for some mild arthritis pain. I was very nervous about it because I am a coward when it comes to pain and this involves a long needle. All the nurses there were very nice to me. I was asked at least four times which hip we were injecting. When I finally got to the OR and they asked again I said«the third one» just to get a rise out of the nurse staff. Everyone I met said that Dr. «C» was the best. One nurse said that Dr. Albert refers to her because Dr. C is a perfectionist. I learned this first hand. After I was prepped, Dr. C came in and said she was going to numb me up. «There will be a small stick and some stinging,» she said. The first stick was mild and I waited for her to finish up with the numbing. I figured there would be several injections of a deeper and deeper nature like the dentist does to get your mouth real numb. The next thing I know, she said, «All done.» I couldn’t believe it. I was bracing myself for this invasive stab of the long needle and she had finished the whole procedure while I was thinking about the«prep» mode. I may or may not have proposed to the dear doctor immediately after the procedure. I’m pretty sure I did because the nurses gave me a hard time about being married. Anyway, I am very grateful that I was sent to Dr. C and I will make sure that Mary Jo Albert hears how good her referrral partner continues to be.
