The fact that this man is listed on Atlanta’s best of is laughable. Dr. Arkin spent less than five minutes with me for a consultation before I was rushed out. His office staff is rude and will only return calls. Don’t expect them to answer the phone. No bedside manner and lives in an alternate universe. If you care about your health at all, you will go to someone that takes the time to see you and actually cares about what they are doing.

I am personally shocked at two low reviews for Dr. Arkin and his staff. I have been seeing him for over 10 years. He is one of the finest doctors I know, and my other specialists share the same opinion when they learn I am under his care. He spends a great deal of time with me on every visit, and makes me feel like I’m his most important patient. He always takes my concerns seriously. When I mentioned on a recent visit that I felt I was gaining weight, he pulled my file and reviewed my weight over the last 10 years. He is very thorough, asks probing questions and compassionate. I am highly recommending Dr. Arkin.

His staff screwed up the appointment and said we had to come back tomorrow. A beastly troll of a woman on his staff began some ignorant «sister girl» routine. She was a short, ugly racist woman built like a tank. I couldn’t believe that the doctor employed such backwater trash. Avoid this place.

Very poor service and follow up. I had a blood test 8 days ago in an effort to adjust my meds, I wasn’t feeling well. The normal turn around time is 1 to 2 day turn around… a pretty standard test. Well after 8 days and 5 calls to the office, I escalated my concerns to the office manager. She was full of excuses, blood test can take up to 2 weeks to get results, (a lie, especially for the type of test I have)’ the Dr had left the office early, the med assistant had to attend a funeral, etc. Not one apology. And by the way, my results had been there for 5 days. She went on to say, decrease your meds by half. She gave no details about the results, blood levels, nothing. Very poorly ran operation and a staff with no dedication, compassion or professionalism!
Needless to say, I will not be back, my health is too important to entrust to this medical facility.
