My experience here was not great. First, the front desk seemed to either have an attitude or not know what they were doing. Whenever I came in for an appointment, they’d always ask me why I was there before they sent me to the waiting room. It seemed like the most bizarre question to me, as I had made an appointment. I had vision tests and was getting contacts for the first time. When they came to give me contacts, they just sat me down and told me to put them in. They never explained how best to put them in or take them out. I still don’t know… I was having problems with contacts that they gave me – my eyes are somehow allergic to them. To figure this out took about six different visits to the office. I would come in, they’d say my eyes were too messy to look at, send me home for a week. Then I’d come back and they told me my eye was infected, which I knew it wasn’t, so I did not fill the prescription they gave me. Came back in another week. Was looked at by a different optometrist who said of course my eye was not infected – the things written down in the chart did not indicate an infection at all – what was the other guy thinking. So he gave me a different contact to wear, came back in a week, eye was too«goopy» to look at, stop wearing and come back later, etc etc etc. Every time that I came in, even if they said it was too«goopy» to look at, I was charged for a full visit, none of which insurance paid because it wasn’t clear why I had to go back six times in a row. Overall, I was just not impressed with the way they communicated or handled things at this office.
