food is good, service is hit or miss, beer is a little pricey

The food is hit or miss but I did enjoy the pickled onions and peppers. The beer prices are outrageous, $ 6+ for a 12oz. shock top draft?! Actually the price depends on which bartender/server you get… I’ve been here 3 times and was charged differently each time. When I casually questioned our waitress about this, she acted like I was trying to get a free meal. haha, not a chance in hell that I would do something like that. In addition to the above mentioned issue, most waitresses don’t know the whole menu and would rather talk with/serve their friends /regulars instead of serving someone that will tip 20−30% for good food/service. It’s crystal clear that they lack the training and professionalism(no consistency, poor communication, no attention to detail) to deliver an excellent experience. I like the concept and the patio, the place has potential if they get their act together.

Stopped in today for lunch with some coworkers while touring an event facility we are renting next summer. I ordered the Cajun blue burger. When it came to the table to first thing I noticed was that the patties were obviously hand formed, not frozen or pre made. I loved that. The burger had a ton of flavor and was cooked perfectly(medium for me). The bacon was nice and crisp and didn’t come completely out of the bun after the first bite. The menu said Gorgonzola, but I think it was more of a stronger blue cheese. the flavor was very strong, which is ok. The Cajun sauce had a wonderful kick to it. Not overpowering at all. I cant wait for our event next summer so I can stop in for another burger since we live 2 hours away. I also noticed they have several other items on the menu that I would like to try(Gator).

Crappy food with an attitude. Ordered the salmon, first time it came to me It was way undercooked and when the rest of my party had finished their food the bartender Stephanie finally came back to ask how it was. I asked if I could get my fish cooked some more. 10 minutes later it came back the same way. No apologies at all, rather I was told I ordered it wrong. If you want good food or good service don’t come here, lots of better options close. I was there on Wednesday night 11-4-2015 at about 7:30 or 8 pm. The bartender with short red hair(Stephanie was on receipt) was completely disinterested in being attentive or even courteous. She actually told me I did not order it properly, after bringing it to me the second time and suggested that it was my problem. Staff is an absolute extension of ownership in locally owned pubs. No offer of concession, and not even an apology that I did not enjoy my dinner after a long day of working in the area.

I went last night for dinner with one of my best friends. After 5 minutes of waiting near the hostess stand«waiting to be seated» I walked through the bar and found a waitress who told me to sit anywhere. We sat outside. It took almost 10 minutes to place a drink order and and another 20 to place a food order. The drinks(both on the rocks) may as well have been served in a thimble. The smallest pour I have ever seen. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My Cajun shrimp burger was overcooked but very tasty. The Bacon Blue burger would have been great other than the bacon being burnt. I mean black. The chips served with my burger were the best ever and the unusually shaped fries were very good.

They have ginger beer you mule lovers! Staff is awesome. Town is half Mayberry and 2 percent Austin. Had the potato bowl and it was much better than kfc.

Awesome food, good service but only 1 type of white wine? And the martini was laughable! Took a shot of gin, put it in a martini glass and it wasn’t even half full! The glass was even dirty! Charge me more for the drink but give me a real drink! Went back to the hotel and had great ones! Strange atmosphere –everyone looked hung over after a wild weekend! Might be more fun on weekend

Having lived in Louisiana, I am usually skeptical of Cajun themed places. This place was very good. Fish tacos were tasty and the staff was friendly. Interesting menu(in a good way)

Great local restaurant/bar choice in the area. Ordered the fried alligator bites for an appetizer and the salmon with bourbon glaze for the entrée. Both were delicious and the salmon was cooked to perfection. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely be stopping by.

For us Unilocaler’s, I’m guessing this used to be Bob O’s location. A quick walk from the DoubleTree. It’s the perfect corner location, nice clean environment with Rhythm & Blues. The Catfish Taco’s were excellent. Nice job on the service, Miranda!
