Great food. Steaks are huge and delicious. You get bread to start and it’s great and the lobster tail is good as well. A little to pricey to eat at often but good restaurant. Very friendly staff. Everyone acknowledges you as you see them.

Very delicious. Every single bite! The steaks are so tender and juicy, be mindful of the size you order. You won’t be able to stop eating it until it’s gone, stomach hurting will not stop you I promise lol my favorite sides to order are asparagus and the Mac & cheese. big enough to share with four people. Don’t forget to take some cheesecake to go! Mine & my husband’s favorite place to celebrate birthdays and our anniversary

We made reservations here as a back up plan due to the winter storm our area was supposed to get. To my surprise, the décor and overall ambience of the place was very upscale. This is minus the fact that they had a smoking section. It’s located in a completely different area of the restaurant so you cant smell anything while sitting in the non smoking section. The service we were provided by our server John was phenomenal. He was attentive, personable, and very upbeat. He is the main reason I’m giving 3 stars and not two. The food is overpriced for the quality. I thought the steak was average and our side order of buttermilk whipped potatoes came to our table cold. Our bill surpassed $ 150 for two steaks, one side dish, and 4 alcoholic beverages. Needless to say, I will not be returning based on price for the quality of food I received.

Visited on Sweetest day(10÷18÷15) and was very disappointed. We frequent many high end steakhouses and this was by far the worst. Sub par service, over cooked steaks with no flavor, yet still you pay a premium price. I won’t be back for a second visit. I think I figured out why people were eating here. Everyone sitting around us(yes, I was listening in on other peoples conversations) were using comp coupons from the casino. I think I was the only customer actually paying for a meal that night! Of course if the majority of your customers are getting free meals, they won’t complain. Thus, standards will fall. Someone from this restaurant needs to take a field trip over to Ruth’s Chris or the Precinct and see how it’s done right. One positive about our visit: watching the trailer trash at the casino. Very entertaining. It’s nice to know where our government handouts are being spent

We were so excited to spend our valentine’s at the final cut we had never been were visiting Lawrenceburg with friends for the long weekend. We had reservations for 12 at 6:30. We arrived early and we’re seated promptly. Our server came and passed out menus started to take drink orders then disappeared. She returned 15 minutes later had a few of the drinks odered took the rest of the drink orders then we didn’t see her for I promise ½ an hour. We were seated and waiting without drinks bread or ordering for 1 hour and that only happened because we complained. When the server came with out bottles of wine we told her not to open the wine because we may be leaving. We told her we wanred to know how long it would take for us to recieve our entrees, she went to the kitchen returned and said 20 minutes. It took 45! When we received our food it was amazing! The kitchen truly out did themselves… so my only disappointed was with the serve staff. the food was amazing but I don’t think I would go back just because of the level of frustration…

I usually don’t take the time write reviews, but this was worth it. We are huge Jeff Ruby fans, and we like to hit best steakhouses we can find when we travel, so we definitely know a good steak. We are locals, and given the lack of restaurants in the area, I honestly wasn’t expecting much. My husband and I both got filets and they were absolutely perfect. The sides were delicious too(highly recommend the bourbon cream corn). Overall it was an awesome experience and I’m so excited to find such a gem locally!

I came here for an office dinner party and I was actually surprised about how good the food was. They served pretzel roll along with sourdough which was a nice change. I got their wedge salad which was excellent, as well as an order of bacon for my appetizer. Yes, they have BACON as an appetizer and it is just about the most amazing thing ever… thick cut with a mustard dipping sauce… you have got to try it! I got the 6oz filet and my husband got the bone-in ribeye, we were both surprised that it compared well to the Jeff Ruby’s steaks we’ve had. I topped everything off with the crème brûlée trio. It came with coconut and chocolate flavors, which I wasn’t a huge fan of, but the normal one was super tasty. As a warning, my husband commented that his chocolate cake was a bit dry. The service was alright, the waiter on our side made a couple mistakes but I get the idea that he was just new. I think I’ll probably come back and recommend you try it out, even if it’s just for the bacon.

The steak here was awesome. I highly recommend getting the big appetizer with the lobster and crab oysters and all of that. very fresh and awesome. it is all pricey, but if you win big or get it comped than have at it.

I’m a big Jeff Ruby’s fan, and didn’t expect the Final Cut Steakhouse would measure up. Pleasantly surprised! The steaks were VERY good, cooked perfectly, and generous cuts. Sides were very good as well… recommend the assortment of sauteed mushrooms. For an app, I had the stuffed mushrooms which were some of the best I’ve had. Very elegant atmosphere for a midwest casino steakhouse. Pricey, but that was somewhat expected since they have a captive audience of casino go-ers. Service was top notch, too. Well worth the trip whether your gambling at the casino, or looking for a top caliber steak.

Been to Final Cut many times and the food has always been great — no different this time. Their steaks rival the best in town. Reason for this visit was my girlfriend’s birthday. Our service was OK overall but there’s two things the server did that really got under my skin. First off, this is a FINEDINING restaurant and the service should reflect that. When we are still eating our entrees, don’t ask if we «saved any room for dessert». I don’t know yet because I’m not finished eating my steak. Not that big of a deal, really… It happens all the time, just shouldn’t happen at a restaurant like Final Cut. Second, and a much bigger deal, I had a coupon for $X off of dinner that Hollywood sent me and I used some comps to pay part of the tab. So when the check arrived, I put my credit card and the coupon/player’s card with the check. The server came back to the table and announced happily, «well, that got your check down to $XX.XX!» Are you kidding me? I’m out to dinner with my significant other and you announce to both of us what the total of the check is? I was floored and irate but didn’t let it be known because I didn’t want to make a big deal of it at the time. My girlfriend and I have been together for a while so it’s not a big deal that she knows the total of the check but that’s not the point. That is a totally rude and classless move. If this guy had announced the total of a check to a group of businessmen, he may have been laid out on the floor right there in the middle of the restaurant. Going to try to send this to the folks at Hollywood too… maybe they care?

Bad night in the kitchen at The Final Cut, I suppose. We hosted a business dinner for 15 last evening, and we were not satisfied with the food or the service. Most of us ordered steak; 3 were sent back since they were not cooked as ordered, then the new steaks were late back to the table. Most said their steaks were just OK. Only 4 at the table expressed satisfaction with their meal. Even the side dishes were were poorly cooked. The asparagus was bitter and woody, the mushrooms cold. The wait staff had to be reminded to bring drink refills. The waiter brought out free desserts to make up for the poor meal, which we appreciated very much and made for a nice ending, although I would have preferred the elegant and sophisticated meal we expected. As hosts, we were embarassed. I called and spoke to the manager, David, tonight, who told me to leave my name so the managers could make sure we were satisfied with our dining experience next time we came in. I asked what that meant, and he had no answer for me.

This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had in two years, and I eat out twice a week. We had reservations weeks in advance but they still stuck our large group of 11 in a table for no more than 8 people. We were scrunched and the servers could not even get around the table. We were handing each other our drinks and the server dropped a greasy part of a steak on our table which my husband then got on his shirt. The only thing we came out of this restaurant with was disappointment and a dry cleaning bill. The service was terrible, our server was not friendly and she made the busser and other servers do all of the work. Yes, there were 11 people in our group, but the lack of service was unacceptable. The food quality was terrible. I typically always order steak when I go out but saw that they had sea bass on their menu. I’ve had wonderful sea bass before and was expecting the same quality. The fish was bad, probably old, and cooked unevenly. There were charred parts on the outside and the inside was a very slimy consistency, My husband had the special and the flavor combination was better than mine, but the risotto was not prepared correctly and was sticking in our teeth. Three people in our group ordered their steaks medium, each one came out cooked at a different temperature(none of them medium), one of them being so tough and not even the slightest bit of pink at all. I was very unimpressed with the sides. Our server raved about the creamed corn and said there would be riots if they took it off of the menu… the corn was clearly out of a can. Terrible and cold. The only good thing that came out of the dining experience was the onion soup, it was terrific. I will never go back to this restaurant and will highly suggest people not to waste their money. The food quality was something that you would find at an everyday chain restaurant, but at least they could prepare it consistently and cooked correctly with friendlier and more attentive service. Very, very disappointed and sorry it ruined what was suppose to be a celebratory evening.

I am an avid Unilocaler. So far, Unilocal has not steered me wrong on a good meal. However, while traveling to Florence, KY/Cincinnati we were plagued with the fact that each restaurant Unilocaled only had a handful of reviews. I had to try another trusty app while driving and craving a delicious dinner… aroundme/urban spoon. They both lead me to Final Cut steakhouse so I thought I’d give it a go. It is in a casino but far enough away from the smoke. The décor is tasteful and the wine menu is some sort of ipad you get to mess around with before the food comes. We chose Umberto Fiore’s Moscato they carry and it was DELICIOUS. Very sweet and sparkling like a dessert wine and not dry at all. The bread they bring you is so tasty. You know you hit the jackpot when they come out with PRETZELBREAD. Not too many places do this, and who the heck doesn’t like pretzels? My party ordered: the steak fillet and licked the plate clean. Note: Sauces and sides are extra $$$. The chicken was good, not too memorable and my Dad said the salmon was out of this world. These two sea and poultry dishes come with sides and the veggies almost outshine the protein. Its a bit spendy but I definitely recommend for a relaxing nice dinner with some frank sinatra playing in the background.
