Property Management of Andover

I have lived at Patten Green Condos since 2008. This complex is currently operated by «Property Management of Andover». My family and I were reluctant to move into a condominium at first. We have heard horror stories of associations, however with my mothers medical conditions we decided to take a chance. The number one reason being that my parents aren’t fully capable of up keeping an exterior of a house.
When we first moved in we were under management by a company called «Hodan». The exterior during the spring; front and back was amazing. Flowers, green grass, bushes. It looked like a 5 star golf course throughout the summer. Winter came along and constant plowing, snowblowers and shoveling every hour of the storm until it stopped snowing. Every storm no matter how big or small.
Fast forward to «Property management of Andover». The summer and spring seasons the front of the complex looks appealing to the eye. You drive by it and it looks nice, very well kept. Well unfortunately my unit is in the back and it never receives the attention it needs. Complaints are always ignored. You receive the same generic response every time «Ok we’ll get to it».
Last winter was horrific. My mother has difficulty walking and was unable to get to her car due to snow and ice on the walkways. Last year we had to shovel the walkways ourselves and the driveways were not done well at all. This year nothing was done until morning and it wasn’t done well at all. No walkways were done and it was considered «Finished» by the association. Pictures are provided. Every house had snow piled up to their doors for almost 2 days. And I say almost 2 days because eventually the residents got to shoveling. We pay an arm and a leg for the condo to take care of these needs.
This is the least of the issues here. Last year they required residents to pay $ 10k to fix the units. Those naïve enough to pay are out $ 10k and not an ounce of work has been done to fix the roads like they claimed.
